    I had selected AEGON Religare Life Insurance Company Ltd. for Money Back Plus Plan and I was told on Mobile conversation that Annual Premium for the Policy is Rs. 49,918/-. But I was surprised to know that my Plan Term is not annual but Half Yearly. I had conversation with Mr.Aditya Roy (Mobile No. [protected]) to deposit sum of Rs.25,500/- towards security deposit to get a sum of Rs.6,38,000/- in the month of Sep-2011. But Additional Policy was sent to me having Premium Rs.25500/-. I received a Mobile call from Mr.Rajiv Agrawal, Sr. Branch Manager, Nagpur whose mobile No. is [protected] & [protected]. I received Mobile Call from Mr. Sanjeev Sharma (Mobile nO.[protected]) for getting Pension of Rs.7624/- from March-2012 against the payment of Rs.50000/- . In this way the Company has cheated me. I request you to confirm the various phone call conversation & cancel my policy and refund me the Amount of Rs.50000/- + Rs. 25,500/- plus compensation,

        Dear Sir,

        I have made a payment of Rs. 10975 made towards policy February 16th and still awaiting for my premium receipt. I had tried calling the customer contact number of Aegon multiple times and in spite of waiting for 1 hour almost every day, I could not get to speak to their representative. I had even left my number for call back but no one has called me back till date.

        generally, most of the insurance providers have the option to retrieve the premium payment receipt on their website only however Aegon Religare's website has no such link to download the receipt. Their customer login links never works, their contact numbers never works, they dont honor their promise of calling back their customers within 24 hours. This is the most pathetic customer service, which I have received till date. I needed the premium payment receipt for my tax purposes and still have not received anything from the company.

        Please advise how can I file a complaint with their ombudsman or a local regulator.

        same as you ... also i am suffering for receipt ... you know i had made 2 premium payment online at december 2011 for i term plan, but again & again same repeated sms, mail to make ur payment before date ... at last i received ur policy had been lapsed, i was shocked & call at customer care after more then 2 hours come to contact, after detecting all details they sat me sorry ... that ur policy will be start as soon as possible ... & now at 17th march i received a sms ... as greeting thanks for the payment for ur policy & u can download ur policy receipt from our website ... but there is no links ... every thing is about new insurance policy add ... no existing customers link ...         I have same problem with online receipt. I have paid premium toward renewal of my Aegon relligare term policy 4 days back and not even received single messageemail from the company. It is very frustrating and i need receipt today any how to claim tax benefit. I am trying to reach customer support but its the worst I have ever seen so far. No call back, no com paint registration and no response. Call ends in between after taking you through different places which adds to further frustration. Can someone please help me getting online premium pad reciept for below details.Moreof, their existing custom portal doesnt even exist. it has just link on the main site but when we click it doesnt open anything and this way existing customer has NEITHER HAVE OPTION TO SPEAK TO ANYONE NOR HELP THEMSELVES TO LOGIN ON THEIR OWN.

        Its Very frustrating indeed that their existing customer page never opens up. Even archaic insurance companies like LIC has a great web portal where it maintains for download all the premium receipts paid. However this company which talks about removing the middleman, is not sincere about servicing its audience the end customer well. What sort of buffoon is this. I regret having paid the second installment of my life insurance premium today. Will move out of this to some other company next year for sure.

          I had taken a Life Insurance policy (Policy no.[protected] dt. 7.10.2011) of Aegon Religare Life Insurance Company Limited. The two persons who had come to get the form filled and collect the documents and cheque, Mr. Hardeep Singh (Mobile no. [protected]) and Mr. Ravi Kushwaha (Mobile no. [protected]) and who were not carrying their visiting cards at the time had advised me that, if for any reason I needed to cancel the policy I could do so within three months from the date of policy and the entire sum paid as premium would be refunded after deducting around Rs. 200 paid as stamp duty by the company. I had asked them if they could show me the draft copy of general terms and conditions which would govern the policy so that I could go through the same before filling the forms. They had replied that the company did not provide it but explained some general points which, on hindsight, suited the company to secure the policy but were incomplete. They even did not want me to fill the form myself, completed it themselves and asked me to just put my signatures. When the policy document reached me, it had a whole lot of clauses that were not made known to me at the time of filling the form. These clauses were unilateral and set by the company and some of those were not acceptable to me. The company agents/representatives had very clearly conveyed to me that I could cancel the policy, for any reason, within 3 months of the date of policy but I did not find any mention of this in the policy document.

          As I have to fulfill other financial commitments, I had requested Aegon Religare to cancel the policy and refund the initial premium amount of Rs. 35,000 which I have already paid after deducting the amount paid by them as stamp duty, vide my email of December 1, 2011.

          I was in for a rude shock when after delaying the matter for 1 and ½ months, M/s Aegon Religare Life Insurance Company Limited, have, vide their letter dtd. January 12, 2012 (received by me today, January 16, 2012), refused to cancel the policy.

          I consider the company’s approach as restrictive and unfair trade practice. I also wish to put on record, my displeasure with the company’s unethical business practices and unprofessional attitude, more so when they are in the insurance business which requires high degree of transparency, honesty and integrity.

            I have purchase Two policies from Aegon Religare life insurance Policy no is[protected]&[protected] for Rs.25000/- each Money Back Plus Plane in favour of Mrs. Alka Mukund Deshpande Dated 4th may 2011 & with all my famaily I have gone to Mumbai for 15 days within this period Courier of the company deliver the original documents in my locked house at Indore Without my knowledge. When I Come back at indore & see the document i feel that the agent of the above company have missguied me. so I want to cancelled the above both policeis but company refused because of 15 days period from delivery is over. but as per rule when I am not at house company can not deliver in locked house. I also complaints to custmer care but they also not taken Interest .               Last December I was enquiring for a health Policy and was interested in the hnealth policy offered by Aegon religare. Once I said that I was interested, I got ovr a dozen calls . Now yesterday I had claimed hospitalisation and treatment charges they tell me that they have prefixed amounts for various illness and surgeries and will pay a lumpsum amount as per their rates. If the expenses are more than their predefined rates, the same will have to be borne by the customer.

              Anybody having plans to take their health policy , BEWARE, an abo[censored]e bunch of frauds are running this operation. You get to experience this only when you land with a treatment or surgery . Till then everything seems to be fine .Iam told by their Senior that they are also not regulated with IRDA and hence all their ground operations are done by a lousy Paramount Health Services which is absolutely unprofessional .

              I have had a very bad experience and I suggest all to avoid this fraud health insurance benefit policy ..

              Dear Danny,

              I have doubts on your complaint.

              #1. Its Religare Health Insurance Co. Ltd. and not Aegon Religare Health Insurance. Aegon Religare is a life insurance company.

              #2. All retail policies of Religare Health Insurance Co. polices are managed by In-house TPA and not by Paramount or any other third party administrator since the inception of the company.

              #3. Without license from IRDA no insurance company can operate hence your seniors have misguided you that its not regulated.

              I suggest you reach to the insurance ombudsman who's contact details are given in all copies of insurance policies and you would get your complaint resolved.
              Religare health insurance is fraud. even i was asked and convinced to buy the policy online. Even after knowing about my underwriting I was forced to buy the policy & as soon as i paid the money I got a call & my money was refund after cutting Rs.825.00 from it without reason. No medical test was conducted nothing. They follow cheap tricks to fool consumers.

                I have worked with Aegon Religare's tide agency ARCHEE CONSULTANT at ahmedabad and that time they have committed 60% payout to the on the policy sold to the customer by our selves.this communication will also know by your relationship manager with your Aegon religare provided by you.

                But till date the owner of the ARCHEE CONSULTANT is denied that the commission from the AEGON RELIGARE will not come yet and he is not giving any positive answer for the same.He is denied for any type of Commission payment which was amounting Rs.60,000.

                      It’s very hard to inform you that i Md Tahir Hussain have taken a policy with policy no.[protected] and paid 35500 as a first premiums by check to your agent Sarfraz Ahmad-[protected](Phone is switched off)and Imran khan -[protected](Not picking the phone) who has bluffed that i will get a return of 2290/month for a year. but soon 1 month crossed when no money came i have contacted him by phone .but everybody’s phone has been switched off. So i have searched all the contacts from AEGON Religare booklet but found none of the number they have given is valid.
                      i become frustrated by all this fraud they have done with me so i will not able to continue my policy and just want my money back. I am attaching few document for proof. So please look in to the matter and do the needful.

                        I had lodged against a ULIP selling agent of Aegon Reliagre.
                        I am sending accross the complaint as well as their response.


                        The key issue here is not whether I get my money back or not, but the fact that:
                        a. company does not acknowledge the fact that their agent has misled the customer and misrepresented the features of the policy.
                        b. Stark unwillingness of the company to take action against the undisciplined Sales force.
                        c. Penalizing the same by blocking the commission etc paid out to agent for selling this policy (as it was done through fraudulent means).




                        The key takeaway from the kind of redressal and response I have received is that Aegon Religare company seems to be encouraging such fraudulent means and practices.

                        It is disgusting to note that Aegon Religare is relying on unscrupulous agents in order to sell its products.
                        While selling me the policy , the agent misrepresented the policy and falsified many of its features to me and my father:
                        a. He had mentioned that I need to pay the premium for only three years, however, the term of poliy mentioned in the document is 20 years.
                        b. He has assured me of returns of over 20% over next three years, however in the latest policy statement I have received, dated 31/03/2011, the fund value is only Rs. 14399. That is inspite of the fact that I have paid over 45, 000 as premiums for the policy.
                        c. He had also mentioned that i could withdraw money after 3 years at no extra charges, however, the is some penalty




                        considering the above I would request to take the following actions:
                        a. stop any commission being paid to that ( unscrupulouss/fraduster ) and recover any commission that has been paid to him.
                        b. Refund my money as it is the representatives of your company who have misrepresented the facts about the policy.
                        c. Inform me about the action taken against the agent.
                        d. Why I should not file the formal complaint with IRDA regarding such filthy and unethical practices.


                        This issue has been raised again and again, however, it seems that the companies are simply not interested in controlling such practices and in fact encourages such unethical practices by providing hefty commissions to the unscrupulous agents.

                          People from Aegon Religare fraudnetally called to tell that they are from ICICI Prudential and they would send a represntative to manage the portfolios and would gaurantee me the highest nav since the company would manage the porfolio and it would be their responsibility to get me the maximun benifit and stop the loss. The represntative also endorses what was said over call and asked for my policy details. I discussed before sharing the details and soon while talking realized he did not seem from ICICI prodential, I talked to my folio executive at ICICI and it was confirmed they did not send anyone. Please be aware of such fraud people.

                          Could you please write to me and provide details of the person who visited you and made such calls to you. We shall take strict action against such people and also keep you informed on the same. I sincerely regret if such a communication has happened. However, I can ensure you that this is not apractice we follow at AEGON Religare and most life insurance companies will never do something of this nature.
                          Please help us understand the details of the case in order to clear any discrepancy.

                          I was visited by some Anil Kumar Jha and please do not surprise me by saying he does not work for Aegon Religare, he carried a visiting card and showed the same to me when insisted. I do not remember the one who called initially to fix an appointment.
                          Aegon religare seems to encourage such practices and there is a stark unwillingness to take action against their sales force which misssells and misrepresents the policy to the gullible customers.

                          They just toes the standard template response format rather than actually looking into the issue.
                          Please avoid dealing with Aegon reliagre representatives.

                          he asked me IRDA declared bonuce, but i must compleate slabe of Rs. 50000
                          so i have purchase onether policy from Bharti-axa which primium of Rs. 20000, before 3 month

                            sir my pf no is MH/BAN/48957/1388.I had been working with aegon religare life ins co from nov 2008 till march 2010 & then i have filled up pf form with duly signed along with cancelled cheque&send it to HO on 26/10/10&they have informed e that after submission of pf form to pf office it will take 4-5 months to settle pf amount.But till the date my pf money is nt credied in my account already8 month has gone.pls lookout this matter& inf me.my mb no is [protected].

                              My Age is 62 am Retired Person.

                              I am totally fed up with Calls from Aegon Religare since last 15days.... Even After Telling N Number of times no to them regarding not to call me for any plans/Investments..... Then also they used keep on calling in odd hours with Misbehavior on the phone.(phone numbers are mentioned below).

                              They are using even abusive language when I denie for plans and daily harrasing in odd hours.

                              Being a senior citizen I am requesting you to guide me how to get this problem solved. I would be obliged if someone can guide me in such situation.

                              Religare — Complaint regarding unsolicited telecalling.

                              I received a call from Religare at 1339 pm, 8th April 09. Phone # 45592808, person gave her name as Simran

                              This was an unsolicited call, opened by a lady who without introducing herself or asking if it was ok to have a conversation with me straightaway said----- 'I'm a financial advisor. Where do you invest your money? ' When I responded that I cannot disclose that, then she persisted and asked ' But you must be doing trading' I then told her that I cannot disclose personal information & she should come to the point & tell me what is her purpose & why she's called me. At this stage she very rudely tells me ' keep cool, I'm not being rude’. When I pointed out to her that information she wants from me is personal, she lectures me on how such information isn’t personal and continues being rude till I close the call myself!!

                              This behavior is a total shock. It’s unacceptable that someone calls me unsolicited, doesn’t even bother to introduce herself (I only got to know that she called from Religare when I called back on the number from which I received this call). Then proceeds to ask me for confidential information WITHOUT even explaining why she is calling me. When this is pointed out by me she proceeds to lecture & harangue me. I find this unacceptable & hold Religare & the service provider ( Bharti) responsible for such irresponsible attempted contact to solicit business.

                              I hope the concerned organizations treat this as a SEROIUS COMPLAINT. Unless I get a SATISFACTORY explanation and apology, I intend to ensure that I seek my rightful redressal by all legal means
                              I too faced the same problem. atleast you know the name of that person and the phone number. But I donot know the number and name as she called on the landline. How do we complain and seek legal action.

                              We do no have external vendors calling cusomers for invesment policies. I will however, personally look into your complaint and esnure tha no one from Aegon Religare calls you in future. Really sorry for the trouble caused to you.                                 The Aegon Religare customer service offered me an online healthcare policy and said that policy will be given in hand within 24 hrs of payment; however, it is over a week and no sign of policy handover. Repeated calls to them have been in vain where they mention they are not exactly aware of reasons for delay. Kindly help.

                                  I received a call from delhi and told me to explain about insurance cum saving scheme.
                                  "Mr. Malhotra" told him self as a religare executive and explain the plan "MONEY BACK PLUS", in which you will pay 30000 per year.
                                  30000 X 5 year = 150,000
                                  @ end of 5th year you will get 235,000 rs.
                                  and get 2.61 lac sum assured for 16 years.
                                  @ the 4 th year you will get 10% of sum assured = 2.6 * 10% = 26000
                                  @ the 8th year 20%= 52000
                                  @12 th year 30% = 78000
                                  @ the 16 year 60% = 156 000
                                  means pay 30 thusand per yr for 5 yr and get double @ 5 year and get agian double in next 10yrs.
                                  plan was supb.
                                  Additionaly get 20% discount or dividend if book today thru us.
                                  (Ab to zayada ho gaya.)
                                  pay 1,20,000 and get 26000+ 235000+52000+78000+156000+ life cover.
                                  they told me please faith us, we will provide written in every thing in bond.
                                  i said ok.
                                  after some hrs. agent comes for document collection. he said me "provide me document "
                                  i said please tell me about ur self r u agent. "no i come only for document collection."
                                  what is plan? "I dont know, i can call delhi they again explain the scheme."
                                  provide me some reference (satisfied customer) ? "no i dont know"
                                  and made call again delhi. they again suck me for 1/2 hr.
                                  and said customer's list we could not provide.
                                  i[censored] r not stisfy than u hv option to buy back. in 30 days."simple".
                                  thank to my Brother "jagat" and my colleuge "Kundan" they save me. and i ask that person to go and come on monday.

                                  now the real story behind it.

                                  they was 3rd party agent, the have contract with company to provid 200 customers in a day.
                                  on satday, sunday thy target to ppl, so every person from u want to confirm about "scheme" either not in office or not @ working. u have no choice to confirm from any, also u serve some discount so that in hurry u put your leg in hot water.
                                  After some hrs. my brother friend's called me and provide me actual detail about plan "MONEY BACK PLUS". plan is
                                  30000x5 = 150,000
                                  @ the end of meturity (16 yrs ) u will get 2.35 lac
                                  in between 8th 10th and 12th yrs u get 20% = 30,000 and 30,000 and 30,000

                                  total 235000 + 90000 = 325000 in 16 yr.

                                  Now the phone is not in existance.
                                  Please beware of these call, do not take decesion in quick, same day if offer some discount.

                                    I am (Nikhil.V.P Emp No _1159, Business Manager Aegon Religare LIC Cochin) resigned[protected] and accept the resignation letter my Branch Head same day,

                                    My Pf Ac NO : MH/48957/159
                                    But my PF will not closed till date,i am already sent my withdrawal forms 3 times in my Head office,Every time hr people will regected some useless reasons and they will not advise how it will done correctly.June 15 Th i will sent one withdrawal form after one month iwill call to ho and enquire about my pf fund they will tell me it will not get it till date in ho,after i will take the POD number from the courier office and show them that time they will tell it will get but form will not completed, till date company will not helping me out of this problem and they will punish me like this

                                    Aegon religare life insurance is number one worst company in all over the india, just they want do take out our business from insonect membres they just put the name of wnp but they dont have any shame, because i am giving the regular bussiness but they dont give me the payment of my closers, bledy you just [censored] with your company, & i will case in counsumer court against aegon religare within 2 or 3 days i will shut down your company, so my name is not rishiraj.

                                      I got a call from Mr. Rajat Singhal ( # [protected]) regarding opening DEMAT a/c in Relligare then I inquired a little bit about facilities given by them, somehow I got satisfy with their scheme and I had given a cheque of 15000.

                                      Within 2-3 working days that guy opened my trading a/c & started trading without my permission. I asked him about updates.. sometime he updates me & sometime he used to trading in Future & options.

                                      Ultimatelly he lost my 10000 while I keep on asking him not to do any trading any account.
                                      Now condition is that, the guy is [censored]ng nt even picking my call as well that [censored]ing staff & office Landline keep on buzzing but no responce.

                                      As of now I hope I lost my 15000 INR totally & this is reality of cheating of customers in Relligare Securities.



                                      Please Note that :

                                      Relligare is really [censored]ing trading company which originally made to ruin your savings.

                                      We received a phone call from religare on 15th Jan in the afternoon I suppose, which my father-in-law(FIL) has received. This phone call was for my Husband. The girl who called asked when will my husband come. My FIL said at 5:30.

                                      she gave a call between 5:50 and 6:15 ( I donot remember.)
                                      I lifted the call. The coversation went on like this.

                                      Religare:I am calling from Religfare. I want to speak to Mr. XXX
                                      Me. No he is not there.
                                      Religare: But said he will come at 5:30. why didn't he come

                                      I didn't know what to answer for this stupid question. My husband is in the office. He hasn't come on time. So how can any one (an outsider) question about my husband why he hasn't come yet.

                                      Me: How can u ask me like that. He didn't come. You would have asked at what time shall I call, instead of asking why he hasn't come.

                                      Religare: Why are you talking like that. you only said he will come at 5:30

                                      Me: How can u ask that question? The better way is at what time I should all.

                                      Religare. No. You are shouting "SHUT UP ma'm"

                                      Do you think any customer care executive says a customer "SHUT UP". This lady has no respect and has not been taught manners. She doesn't know how to handle customers.
                                      I myself teach call centre executives, I know what all they face every day. The first question of hers is wrong. when I am trying to correct her, on top of everything she says"SHUT UP"......I want to lodge a complaint against this girl/company. I need guidance.

                                      Please note that since quite some time I am getting numerous calls from you executives on my mobile number - [protected], to purchase products from your company. When I refuse purchasing products / services offered, I'm treated in a rude manner & sometimes the executives are also abusive.
                                      Please remove my mobile number from your calling list as it has become a real pain to me now. This type of service is not expected from Aegon Religare.
