Addition of member was ignored

Dear Niva Bupa Team,

I am writing to express my serious concern and disappointment regarding the recent automatic renewal of my health insurance policy, scheduled for renewal on 28th October. Despite the fact that I did not activate auto-debit instructions, the premium amount was debited from my credit card without any prior intimation, consent, or communication from your end.

I took a health policy from nivabupa for a limit of 10 lakhs. But when I fell sick and applied for a cashless treatment at one of their network hospitals it was denied. Submitted claims for reimbursement but no reply. Can't even call from registered mobile number but when called from other numbers, received but not helping. Wouldnt recommend nivabupa for anybody.         Dear Sir,

        Your agent Mr. Akash Verma has given alert call of premium payment of medical insurance. we always made payment before due date. your person doesn't have manners to talk to customer. You need to give training your agents about polite call handling.

        Experience of talking to him was absolutely ridiculous. INSULTING WAY OF TALK TO CUSTOMERS.

        feeling like i should change my mother's policy from niva bhupa to religare.

          The Head Grievances,

          Niva Bupa Health Insurance Company Limited.
          Subject: Representation towards the claim rejection under policy no. [protected] reported for claim no. 425919.Losing a spouse is hard enough.Dealing with grief after the loss of a loved one can be a incredibly difficult and deeply personal experience. But dealing with that grief in the face of a family dispute is not only stressful but can create irreparable family rifts.Family disputes when someone dies are not uncommon like in the accidental death of my husband. But the court of law has justified the accidental death of my husband and rejected the false and incorrect allegation made by the family members of my husband about my involvement.The Niva Bupa has taken the family dispute under the concept of misrepresentation and By ASKING UNNECCESORY DOCUMENTS and denied the legal rights under the Personal Accident policy as a nominee spouse of the deceased.
          As advised i wil again approch modiji for justice in the matter on the following grounds:
          1. The death of my husband was due to shock and hemorrhage as a result of injuries confirmed in the post-mortem report no. 298/2019 dated 17/03/2019.
          2. The ICICI Lombard has settled the Owner Driver Accidental death claim no. MOT08629977 reported under the motor policy no. 3005/[protected]/00/000 under the mandatory and compulsory personal accident cover of the motor insurance policy.I being the wife and legal nominee under the policy as per the provisions of the IRDA Act, once again represent my case to the higher authorities for their review and settlement for justice in the mattter.
          Unfortunately, My husband died in a Road Accident in July 2019 and I filed his accidental death claim under the said Policy. But they rejected my claim by asking unneccesory documents, pls help sir pls pls help, DOCKET NO 3753681

            This is with reference to Niva bupa Health Insurance Policy number:[protected], Claim ID-990858 of my wife(Mrs. Priyanka Gupta) Would like to inform you that whatever documents are provided to us by the hospital we already shared with Niva Bupa many times, now they are asking for additional information, so i visited hospital many times but hospital deny to provide the same, hospital saying we are not providing any additional information, what ever document required for claim we already provided, so if Niva Bupa required any document kindly contact with us, hence i inform to Niva Bupa, hospital not providing any additional document, if you required kindly contact with hospital, but after some days niva Bupa asking the same thing kindly provide additional information and denay to approve my claim.

            It's almost 3 months since my claim is still pending, they are passing the days and asking the same statement again and again, no one supporting me, its humble request kindly look into the matter and take action on Niva Bupa.

            Please find all the documents which I received from Hospital.

              I am Aruna Gulechha. I am having a Niva Bupa (formerly called Max Bupa) Personal Accident Policy in my name. Here are the policy details:

              My concern is that I sent a mail to cancel the above policy on 10 Sept. I have received a confirmation call from customer care and they told me that the policy will be canceled within 7 to 10 days. It has been more than 10 days, and I haven't gotten any confirmation regarding the cancellation of my policy.

              Being a Senior Citizen, I would expect that you would not make me wait for such a long period to get my issue resolved. I can't do follow-ups every now and then. Hoping that you would understand the urgency of the situation and would resolve my concern at the earliest. Thanks.

My father had accidantal case and he admitted in hospital 6 july 2022 and discharge 9th july 2022, the company niva bhupha neither give cashless facility nor give reimburse our amount.

                    Your application for Health Insurance with Niva Bupa Health Insurance Company Ltd. Reference: [protected];

                    We have submitted a proposal to you for health insurance.

                    We have received a mail from you after 10 days of my premium payment that the premium is increased due to a " pre existing disease" I and my wife have. We are surprised and shocked to get this mail.

                    Kindly explain on what basis you have alleged this pre existing disease.

                    We look forward for an immediate response. We will be initiating serious action against the company in view of baseless statement.

                      Totally a false promise making company at time of selling they will call you 100 times to buy product and make totally a wrong promises and gives a wrong guidance and at time of renewal they start you calling 45 days before and making you afraid that policy renewal amount will increase by[protected] so pay 2 years amount together, how middle class person will arrange all and they know everything but to achieve their selling target they will give you incomplete information and sell you product just to take reward from company and make fool to people is this a way you make customer a fool this company is not at all a trustworthy

                        Hi,

                        since i admitted in Yashoda hospital, I applied for cashless claim and it got rejected. I tried to contact customer care and raised a request (Service request No 8710808 - to know why my claim is rejected). After six days i received a message saying it is automatically closed but i didn't received a call from doctors or anyone else. I tried to reopen the service request on 08-June-2022 again but after customer care person attending the call and knowing the request number they are disconnecting the call and Not reopening it. This is repeated 3 to 4 times. (Timing from 9 pm to 10.30 PM).

                        So my issue is not resolved and they are torturing me by not addressing my issue and not trying to log a complaint.

                        I have to pay 70 thousand rupees for my hospitalization and also need to discontinue from the hospital because of lack of money

                          Hi,

                          I had a completely bad experience with Niva Bupa company. I asked for a portability option from my existing insurance to Niva bupa. They said we will cover all the disease from day one and when they came to know about hernia repair the employee calls me and says we cannot port your policy since you will pay less premium and you will claim more from us. You can do the repair from your previous insurance company and then come back to us.

                          Why are they cheating people with the portability terms. If you want to play safe game then why using portability terms.
