Agarwal packers & movers (www.agarwalpackers.com) packed & transported our household items from gurgaon to chennai. They charged us a hefty sum for the same, along with rs.10000/- in insurance.

Upon arrival and unpacking in chennai, by their team members, a number of items were found broken and damaged. Now they refuse to make the payment claiming that the damages were there beforehand, though it is clear from the records of packing in gurgaon that none of these damages existed previously.

Following are the damages, i am attaching pictures of the same -
1. 1. Glass dessert bowls (3 in number) - worth rs.400/-
2. Borosil diya glass cover - worth rs.100/-
3. Treo large size ceramic serving bowl with glass lid - worth rs.2000/-
4. Wooden south african hand - carved artifact of the big 5 animals - worth rs.5000/-
5. 3 dip bowls (Glass and ceramic)- worth rs.400/-
6. Sea shell lamp - worth rs.1000/-
7. The study table screws/ nuts were lost during the transit - worth rs.500/- (Includes nuts and assembly that we got done by another local carpenter)
8. Wooden floor damage in the process of fixing the bed - worth rs. 5000/-
9. Solid wood rocking chair has been cracked in several places-worth rs. 5000/-

The total amount of the damages caused comes to rs.19400/-

We would request a refund of the same, as was promised to us at the time of taking the order.

    I booked for my household goods from vijayawada to bhagalpur, after 25 days i received my goods but 3 items were missing. And almost all items were wet and damaged badly. I called many times to vijayawada and patna branch but no proper response was given to me, even i mailed to claims and complaint id's but no one replied. Seriously very bad service.

    I am totally unsatisfied with company service. I required my consignment delivery on 22 SEP 18. But company has failed to deliver on time. I reached my destination but due to non delivery, I am staying in Hotel.
    I am feeling very bad with a world wide Limca awarded company.

    I am totally unhappy.

      I had engaged Agarwal Packers DRS Group to shiift from Delhi to Ahmedabad. After much chasing, the luggage reached however more then Rs30, 000 stuff damaged badly.
      Inspite of repeatedly chasing the Company, I have not received the claim money.
      I had frequently logged complain with the Help office .But they said that only Ahmedabad people ( somebody called Rupendra) will solve the problem.'
      But nobody contacted me to resolve the claim.

        This is with regards to the shipment of my two wheeler from hyderabad to bangalore. Gc[protected] shipment loaded on 6th sept.

        I had decided to go ahead with agarwal packers and movers assuming that they would provide professional service. Sadly, i had gone through a very bad customer service as well as pickup experience. Following are the issues faced so far:

        1. I was informed that loading would happen at my house at 11am, but the loading only happened at 6pm that day and i was not informed of this in proir.

        2. I had talked to hyderabad customer care to be aware of instructions for loading before hand. A lady mentioned that i was not supposed to hand over keys to the loading guy. But when the loading guy came home, he wanted the keys. As i was reluctant doing this, the same customer care lady called me up and asked me to hand it over to him. So, very contradicting statements from her end.

        3. The loading guy came without a truck to load and said he would personally drive my vehicle to loading point in bowenpally. I was really taken aback at this service where my bike had to be ridden by someone else and that this had not been mentioned to me in the start. When i asked the customer service lady about not loading at the point of my house she mentioned that it was due to unavailability of loading vehicle at my exact location. Again, had i known this in the start i wouldn't sign up for this.

        3. The loading guy tried to get cash out o[censored]s saying that he needs to fill petrol as the bike now had to be ridden to loading point. I did not provide it.

        4. Stipulated time of delivery mentioned to me was 5 days (Ideally should have reached bangalore by 10th sept). Sadly, it has already been 7 days now and after multiple attempts of calling for tracking details, they finally mentioned that it would be taking another two days time. This is a significant delay for a consumer (Saying 5 days and now saying 9 days) especially after payment being taken in advance.

        5. The delivery date has kept on being extended and till now no one has provided actual tracking details saying which location my vehicle is exactly at right now. Mail for tracking has not responded, three phone numbers given for tracking do not pick up. This mailid and numbers were provided by the live chat service. Finally, i called up the same hyderabad customer care lady for tracking details. She took my gc number and never responded. That too, i called her yesterday and day before and still she could not provide a reply. Finally, on calling another guy today, he said that delivery will happen two days later. Again, i have no proof on this. Not having an online tracking system shows lack of transparency in the service.

        Kindly take notice of all these issues i have faced on my first stint with agarwal packers and movers. It is really shocking that i have already faced so many issues just with a single service.

        With the available time in hand i am at least expecting a prompt delivery based on the new timelines provided,

          After so many efforts, i have received my 4 boxes including 1 guitar box today 29 aug 2018 at 11:00 am.
          I found damage in my guitar, due to this guitar doesn't sounds properly.
          Damage is small but due to this damage sounds of guitar is totally affected.
          At the time of transportation i'hv taken insurance for my guitar which cost : 12, 000 inr.
          But apml not responding me properly regarding this issue.
          Please do the needful.

              Respected sir

              I handed over the household to company on 19th august 2018 evening at meerut today is 28th in 8 days it has travelled on 500 kms. It has to come to warangal. It was supposed to be here by 25th august.

              I am sick and without any household. We are a family of 4 person. All are sleeping on floor, taking food outside. I am sick and suffer from chicken pox.
              As per doctor i need to take compete rest and healthy food cooked at home. What company people did with me?

              How a company like drs can be so irresponsible and dependent on a single driver?
              How the tracking system failed like anything. Despite my repeated reminder meerut team not even bothered to check the consignment status.
              They kept saying sir it will reach by 25th.
              On 25th i started calling everyone. Then comes the story that driver got sick. So in such case why driver was not changed immediately. Company failed at following issues
              1. No tracking from day one
              2. No updation on mobile app
              3. Customer was not informed and not taken into confidence
              4. After knowing that driver got sick, he was not changed and same person was allowed do recover and celebrate rakhi festival and than he started from place near by agra on 26th august.
              5.in the entire episode the higher officers of companies was aware but not taken timely action.
              6. Mr h p singh was aware of all the issue but not changed the driver on immediate basis.
              7. Company has failed to deliver the goods on time and understand the customer problem.
              I request you look into the matter at earliest and compensation to be given for all the harassment caused to me doe to the laxity of employees.
              I also paid the amount rs 85000.

                  My gc no 4613559, from pune to mandsaur (Mp) moved households on 25th june 2018 and today 26th aug 2018, my 2 begs are not delivered, i have been calling their customer care, but always i get same ans saying we will get back to you, or its not correct department, is there anyone who can help to find my lost items. I sent many emails to their support but no one replied in last 2 month.

                    Had sent a consignment to be delivered from Bangalore to Pune. The delivery guy wasnt ready to enter building and deliver items till door. Fraud company didn't even bring the complete items till delivered loaction. Complete waste of money. ALl the boxes were in pathetic condition.
                    When i complained to the guy who took order, he didn't even address it properly.
                    Never had such a bad experience.
                    All agents are rude if you complaint. They work under a pseudo name http://gatihomeshifting.co.in.

                    Its not a door to door service, it actually is door to floor with poorly managed service.

                      I have shifted my goods by APM from Meerut to Indore on 23rd July 2018 and have the worst experience in my life though I have earlier also done the shifting with you. The supervisor and employees took 3500 in cash. THere was a delay due to availability of vehicle in loading. Lot of goods were damaged though some have been repaired.

                      My 3 electrical appliances microwave, refrigerator and Juicer mixer when switched on gave fumes and I had to pay more than Rs.6000 for their repair seems got damaged as lot of goods and boxes were wet when they were unpacked and unloaded. When I gave complaint to Mr. Jain from claim department he said we do not entertain any loss in electrical appliances (what rubbish).

                      Also my refrigerator has a scratch due to loading and unloading when I complained of the same they are asking me to arrange a person from Samsung get quotation and then they will reimburse.

                      You do the shifting, you take the insurance and shifting charges, you damage my goods and all running has to be done by me.

                      I bear losses your people take unnecessary money while loading and unloading.

                      Either provide a solution for the same and pay for the damages else I will be forced to take other means

                        I have booked the households along with bike from panchkula to janakpuri new delhi vide gc no 4624872 dated[protected]. The service was worst they have lost my one carton and rest all the items are in a very worst position and damage lots of households. Look into the matter seriously else i will move the complain to consumer forum or the respective court.

                          I have booked my household item DT on 02/08/2018 from AMALSAD (Surat) to Bhagalpur (Bihar) and talk to Mr. Pramod your item deliver for 10 to 12 days. we have already paid in advance for Rs 30000/- and rest amount paid after delivery. but my consignment reached in Patna 16/08/2018 and show Agarwal site 15/08/2018. Now Mr pramod said your consignment deliver after full payment otherwise I haven't deliver your consignment. And one mail to me for household charges for Rs 300 per day and consignment reached date on Patna 13/08/2018. Every time he talk to lie about my consignment. I think my consignment is damaged or loss so Mr pramod talk me register and agressive.So please deliver my consignment in Bhagalpur and received your rest amount for Rs 30000/-. I hope you will help me.

                            Before booking my household consignment with the agarwal packers and movers drs group, i did some research online and found out that the real agarwal and packers and the drs group agarwal packers are movers and owned by brothers who have separated their businesses. [censored].! It is a fake story run by the drs group people. They are using the name of the real agarwal packers and movers (Agarwalpackersandmovers.com) to con people and befraud them. I did the mistake of booking them thinking they were the real agarwal packers until someone highlighted it to me that they are not. The time i discovered this, i had very little time left and was not able to change the packers and movers. So decided to go with the drs group believing all the fake stories spread by them online. Then started the nightmare. They picked up my stuff and stocked it in an already overpacked truck. When i told them it won't fit, they said this the only truck they have and they'll have to fit it in it. My stuff was all crammed in this horrible truck. Some of the packaging got damaged during loading itself which they then covered with tape. Today it has been 13 days since my stuff was picked up from my home but it still hasn't reached me. No one is answering their calls. And when they are answering, no one is able to track my consignment. They have an app for namesake but it has no functioning. When i complained, they ignored and disconnected the call. Now again no one is answering. If you are ever planning to use packers and movers, never go with the agarwal packers and movers drs group. Do yourself a favour and sell or donate all your stuff rather than sending it with the drs group. You'll save so much on the mental trauma and anxiety part. They are worst out their. Local vendors do a much better job then them. Do not ever book agarwal packers ans movers by drs group. They are cheaters and fraud. I'll be filing a case against them in the consumer court very soon.

                              I received my luggage by missing one box item no. 20 which contains important items of my hall.
                              If you not provide my box items with in 4days i will lodge a case against you in consumer court.
                              And as an employee of bank of baroda &union leader of iba i will inform and try to cancel your license if you delayed the process

                                Sir, I have booked my 62 house hold items from Hubballi karnataka to GORAKHPUR utterpradesh, 18/06/18 and company give me Expected delivery time 12days but my 61 items delivered on 15/07/18 approximately taken 27days and one item serial number 58 will not be deliver till the date and not given any positive response and at the delivery time my many items found damaged which is DRS supervisor seen and sent photos to varanasi branch manager Mr Shiva. Please can you help me to solve the problem.i am also complained to customer care still not solve.

                                  I am a central govt employee and recently got transferred from pune to trivandrum. I booked my luggage through agarwal packers and movers. I want to tell you that i am utterly disappointed with their service. They had promised that they will transport the luggage within a week as the pickup date was 31st july 2018. Today is 6th august and still the luggage is lying in pune. The organisation is full of liars. When i contacted the person who booked my luggage, he promised me that the luggage has already been departed. When i checked online, my luggage was still showing in pune. When i asked him the same, he said it was an error in system and confirmed that the luggage doesn’t lie for more than a day and he confirmed that it has been dispatched. When i called today, 6th aug 2018, (Another person) he said the luggage has been dispatched today ie 6th aug to bangalore. When i called the regional manager mr harish he even refused to acknowledge the person responsible for packing and transporting my luggage. The service is deplorable. I do not recommend this service to anybody. Please do not fall for the advertisements, go for a local service as they are more trustworthy and value the customer more than these guys.

                                    It is very unfortunate to inform you that even after finalization of everything, suddenly at 08:37pm i got call from[protected] that your company will not load my household goods and four wheeler as per given quotation amount. They are saying it is not possible in this amount.

                                    My question is why you have committed if it is not possible. I planned everything as per your schedule, now suddenly your person is denying us to load my household goods and car.

                                    If it is not possible you should have informed it earlier..

                                      I am a very patient and reasonable person. I never wrote this kind of review in my life targeting a person. I just want to share my horrible experience and save people like me. But the end, upper management got involved and resolved the matter.

                                      * to potential customers:

                                      *beware of kishan, viajayawada branch *.

                                      Infact, the service provided by the company (Packing, loading, transport, unloading and assembling) is perfect. I am very happy with that. I would recommend this company. If you are dealing with vijayawada branch, just be careful who is taking the order. If it is kishan, just deny and save yourself from lot agony and pain.

                                      - he is so rude and unprofessional. He is not supposed to be in sales and in contact with customers.

                                      - he does not pickup your calls after the sales. We made 50 calls in two days to get in touch with this person after the sales. He responded to 3 calls total. He does not even apologize/give explanation for not responding to calls.

                                      - he suddenly forgets "telugu" and speaks in hindi only after the sales. The same guy who spoke nice telugu during the sales with 'madam garu".

                                      - after sales, he pretends that he cant understand what we are saying and acts dumb. His nice/polite voice disappears completely and anger shows in his voice like talking to crew after sales.

                                      - he cuts the call in the middle of conversation. He does not call back.

                                      Even though your service is impeccable, people like mr. Kishan can bring down your company's reputation. Please take proper action. Train him how to take accountability of job (End to end) and be nice/talk/behave with customer ever after sales.

                                      There is lot of communication gap between the branches. We understand the reason for that is mr. Kishan does not inform the destination branch.

                                      Here is an example: when we called, he picked up one call after 15 calls and informed us delivery will happen at 9:30 pm. But he did not coordinate that with vizag branch. He just called the driver and told him to go. Mr. Venu, vizag who supposed to arrange the unloading crew was not aware of it.

                                      All this turmoil could avoided by simple clear communication with us without involving in internal matters of operation. We paid for the service. We just want the job done without worry.

                                      * finally, i want to thank mr. Venu, vizag branch for talking to us and talking to vijayawada branch and mr. Sc sharma to help us to resolve the matter finally.

                                        Hi, Agarwal packers gave a quote of 160, 000 for moving by air and then after intial deposit and packaging, increased the cost to double. Despite moving some of it to sea route, the cost was high. This kind of cheating is not expected. We are now in a fix and all stuff has been taken away without any commitment to deliver until we pay the amount demanded. It is very un professional .
