I had 8 packages to be moved from Airoli, Navi Mumbai to my residence in Kolkata for a sum of 6000/- paid in cash on 16th of February, when the item was picked up.

Farid had said that the items will be delivered within a week.

i left Mumbai on that day and came to Kolkata expecting the items to be delivered within a week. However after repeated phone calls they sent the items through Associated Road Carriers.

For a sum of 1590/- billed in my name though I had no part to play in it.
I called up Mr. Joshi and he said that he cannot give me home delivery and I have to collect it from the ARC godown which is very far from my residence, though this was never a part of the deal. I asked him to arrange the home delivery from ARC but he did not do so. he asked me to take home delivery and pay the charges and he will put it into my account. I called up ARC and they said it would take 750/- but payment should be done to them first which means I had to go to their godown.
Still I agreed and asked Mr.Joshi to deposit the amount 750/- to my account, which he did not. I have made about 100 calls to Joshi and now they are never answered. I am extremely disappointed with their service and would like to take this issue to Navi Mumbai Jurisdiction.

Unique Packers & Movers — Damaged & Missing household goods

My name is Rahul Jadon and I took services Unique Packer & Movers[Sahil & Sameer]) for relocating my home goods from Bangalore to Hyderabad. I thought that rather than doing it myself. lets take help from professionals and I contacted JUSTDIAL and they suggested your name as there were good reviews for your company. But I was not aware that things will be done so unprofessionally.

I handed over the good to your guys on Tuesday last week and I was told that thing will be delivered in 24 hrs, but your company took 8 days to deliver. I scheduled everything in such a manner that the day my company accommodation will be over, my stuff will be delivered on time and I will go to my new accommodation with all stuff there. For 3 days (Sunday, Monday & Tuesday) me and my family was forced to live and sleep on bare earth and my kids don't even had a glass to drink water. And when I received the house stuff, I was amazed to see that almost 50% of stuff was unpacked, dirty & wet and few things were even broken. Tables (not packed, got in dirty condition), Bike(petrol tank was scratched), Almirah (It was bought 2 months back and was handed single piece and when received it was in 12 pieces), Broken Mirror, 2 plastic chairs (Neelkamal) & Studds helmet (missing).

In Almirah only doors were detachable, but it is completely broken and when I asked carpainter to repair it, he also denied. I didn't opted for insurance because of the reviews on justdial. I am attaching the photographs. I am writing this email with a hope that I will be compensated for the losses.

I have booked my house hold goods dated 13th aug'10 vide receipt no. 21099 with a confirmation that delivery will be done within 4-5 days but i have received the same after 6 days and also i have booked my CAR on same day and assured for delivery on next to two days of delivery of household goods but till date i have not received the same and also no confirmation from them even now they have stopped picking up my phone, im really worried for my CAR.

I booked Aggrawal Packers and Movers to shift my house hold from Siddharth Nagar, Borivali East to Jankalyan Nagar, Malad West. The packed all my luggage and moved them to my new place and i am still waiting for them to Unpack my belongings. I called them several times and they say They don’t have their carpenter available at the moment. Its 2 days now and my house is in complete MESS. I advice everyone not to take service from them, they are very unprofessional people with no etiquette. I have paid them all the amount on time. Now they have even stopped responding to my call.

While relocating my house hold items from Gurgaon to Bangalore from AGARWAL PACKER AND MOVERS, my washing machine and invertor's battery was completely damaged. I am totally depressed by the service provided to me. I lost my two valuable items while relocation. I request someone PLZ reply me the procedure to resolve my issue.

Agarwal packers is not professionals, they are very negligent while doing the moving. See below my comments and experience

-- They usually charge higher (at least 25% from others).
-- You will find lot of broken items when you receive the delivery.
-- Be very careful to check AC & Refrigerator, which has compressor. I found them broken at time of receipt and had to pay from my pocket to get those fixed and serviced after delivery.
-- Check your furniture, which you bought readymade. These furnitures are not very sturdy and Agarwal packers don't take care of this properly even after knowing about this.

-- Agarwal packers usually send a carpenter, which will try to fix the broken things. Even though you are not satisfied with fixed item, Agarwal packers don't listen and considers those as good.

-- Agarwal packers have some nexus with insurance and they try to assess damage to bare minimum. They don't pay even the insured amount, even though you have insured those items.

-- Be very careful at time of giving value to insured items, this is given smallest of attention at time of moving.
>> Don't add any value for used cloth and used books or things like that which are not very important.
>> Identify high cost items specifically and put the appropriate value. Don't try to depreciate the value
>> Identify items, which are easy to break and put the appropriate value. Don't try to depreciate the value.

-- Out of turn advise, but very important. DONOT pay whole amount in advance or in post-dated checks. They will try to pressurize but make sure you don't give up. Don'y pay full amount at time of delivery also, wait for settlement or ask them to take money from your settlement. This is your defence.

-- Packers and Unpackers will ask tips at time of loading as though they are not paid. Be very careful and upfront from your packer executive to make it clear. You will easily shell out[protected]/- in this also

I have Booked my Luggage from Kolkata to wadi via Agrawal Packer and Movers total 42 Packages on 17th October 2010 from Kolkata to Wadi .
My luggage has reached in broken condition on 1st Nov at wadi . They have requested that the Damage to the Kolkata office Phone No [protected] and Their National Claim Officer Mr Wadhwa at Phone number : [protected] at Delhi .
There is Damage of My Aquaguard RO Filter, its Motor starter got damaged and My LG Frnt Loading Washing Machine also got damaged .There are other items i.e Mixer and Crockory got damaged . Once split AC has also got damaged .
There are no body came at the luggage delivered address i.e Acc Cement Colony Wadi for accessing the damage and sattling the claim .
I have requested several times to Mr Wadhwa in Delhi and Mr Praveen / Bachchan at Hyderabad office but every time they ignored the complain .
Thes damaged has happend basically due to improper packing as notice by the LG service engineer and Aquaguard Service Engineer .
I ssek your Kind intervention in addressing my problem and sattling the claim .

We disagree with the about the cimment, because my name is Sudip Gupta i shifted my house hold goods from Jalandhar to Patna through agarwal packers and movers.

They have packed well and delovered the goods as per the schedule, and the behaviour of the entire staff is so good.

And they have used Wooden crates for all the electronic items and they have delivered the goods in good condition.

We appriciate their centralized customer care department tracking team which is located at their head office based at Secunderabad is so good they have informed us the status of the goods time to time .

We strongly recomend to use Agarwal packers and movers for any relocation needs, we advised our friends also to use the services and they have also used and they also very happy with the services provided by them.

I have shifted my household things from New Delhi to Bhubaneswar in the month of May 2014.I had total 35 Items in that.They had delivered my almira totally in damaged condition and till now noone from DSR group come to my house to repair the same as I have already done the insurance for my goods. I have followed with the team so many times., Till now Nobody came and repaired the same.

I am writing this complain when i am completely in despair and frustrated with the manner in which the Sandeep Movers and Packers have handled my bike ( BAJAJ AVENGER'S ) transportaion from New Delhi to Pune which was loaded on 30th of OCT 2010 and till date hasnt been delievered to me...Bill no given to me is ( 767) the bill date is 30th oct 2010...The contact numbers of these people are

Hello Mr, i have gone thru your complaint against this Agarwal packers and movers, Did you do anything about it, lodge a police complaint or any such legal action, See i am also undergoing this same trauma of my luggage being damaged and no responsibility or anything coming from their side, but i am lodging a police complaint and have also sent a legal notice.We must definitely take up such things seriously the only if everyone complaints, will these guys have to do something about it.But if we keep sitting only thinking that nothing will happen, then definitly we are making our own fate.So i pls request you to do something about it .Thanks . My self Assis nehra, transfered from lucknow to ahmedabad, and i choosed Agarwalpackers and movers for shifting.

1. They came on time for packing as comited by them.

2. They have used wooden creates for all of our electronic items

3. they packed pooja items first and delivered the same first

4. They guided for admission of our kids at un known place

5. And at last their custormer team based at their head office at Secunderabad is so good, and have informed us the status of the goods time to time.

And their behaviour is so good. We strongly recome them for home shifting when ever you needed

Hi, I am working with TVS Electronics LTD. got company transper from bhubaneswar (Orissa) to Delhi.
As usual I booked all my household items thru Agarwal Movers & Packers as I found they are the No-1 service provider for the same. I booked the same on 11/07/08 & after a long waiting period I received it on 23/08/09.

While downloading I found that some of my household items are in damage condition. I told the same to the people who all came for downloading. I also write a note of all my damages on the backside of the receiving papers. I was very much unhappy to see my damage household items & really surprise to feel that even Agarwal Packers and Movers gaves such a wrost service. I made this complain / call to all head & tail in Agarwal Packers and Movers told them the entire story but no one is responding till date. Day to day I am chashing them but there is no response / call back from there side. I called everyone like from BBSR to Delhi Pravin/Prithvi/Sandip/Srini/Salil/ even Mr. H P singh.

BUT TILL DATE NO RESPONCE FROM ANY OF THEM.

They broke my Microwave Oven and all crockery. Now I am chasing them and they are moving round and round. Nobody responds..

Very true and i had personally talked to each and every person named here.All are frauds and dont even pick up the calls.
Even worse, they switch off their phones if you call them twice.
their helpline number also stops working if you call them more than once after you have made the payments.

There is lot of mantal Harrasment done with us.Our houseold materail was delayed by 8 days. Precios material like
1) dining set was found briken completely
2)2 Dining chairs wewe broken
3) Bed was also found broken
4) Chairs were missing
5) Crocery was also broken
there was is loss of around 50000 /- Rupees
6) No Insurance made

Best Packers & Movers — Thieves & False Commitment

I am from Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. I had to shift my material to a new rented apartment, so i called up various packers and movers. Unfortunately, i got trapped with the commitments made by BEST PACKERS AND MOVERS, NERUL. Four persons (All Haryanaites) arrived at my place at the right time. They started packing immediately, but not as per the commitments made by the owner.

Finally, they packed and unload at my new apartment and didnt unpacked it. When i started unpacking found one Bag Missing and lot of small items missing.

BEST Packers are the thieves. Please beware of them.

Pay More to other P&M but never ever believe on BEST.

There is lot of mantal Harrasment done with us.Our houseold materail was delayed by 8 days. and lot of goods got damage. Even after several follow ups with Chairman Rajesh Choudhary ( Mumbai) no resolution for the damaged goods.

Below articles got damage :

1 Washing Machine ( big dent on bottom and back side not usable)
2 Mother cycle Handle, Helmet Lock etc ( handle twisted - cant be driven without change)
3 TV Trolley (All wheels got damage) and stand got bend
4 Iron Almirah (Dent on Top, Doors Jammed)
5 Air condition All fishplates got flat because of wrong placement and Gas got leak.
6 Big Glass photo frame : Glass broken and full of muddy soil seems slipped /thrown on ground during handling at warehouse.
6) Paid 3% of declared value for insurance seperatly.

An estimated loss of 10,000/- due to ignorance.

When i have contat the person they have accurance me that we can shift all the house hold material with house hold material. bur when i have recevied the material in that truck there was laying a big parts of machinery due to this my mostly house mater have been damage.
Dear Sir i have also Take the transit insurance. I havew recevied the material at 14-10-10 night. Next day i have contact the Ahmedabad Office that My Sofa set, Scooty head cover,Iron Almira have been dameged. then they commitment that with in 2or 3 days we have resolved the problem. But After 3 week later there was no action.
Dear Sir Please help to get my damaged material compnession so that i can repair the material.

I had the most harrowing experience with DRS Agarwals Movers and packers while transporting my household items and car from Delhi to Chennai in September 2008. They managed to shatter the windshield of my one year old car besides damaging my microwave, refrigerator and TV set. They gave me zero compensation and their executives kept avoiding me on one pretext or the other. Inspite of many written complaints, I have not recieved any response from them till date.

I would recommend TRANSWORLD INTERNATIONAL to anybody who has to transport household items. They are much more professional, their executives are well behaved and they compensate for damages if any.They do charge a little bit extra but it is worth it as they are not cheats like DRS Agarwals. Shame on you DRS..

Sub : Settlement of grievance arising out of careless and irresponsive motive shown by M/s. Caravan Roadways Ltd(Caravan Packers & Movers)., – Request – Reg.


Respected Sir,

With due respect and with utmost conviction, I would like to put forth my grievance before your kind authority for early and amicable settlement.

Sir, while I was working as of Scientific Officer/E in Heavy Water Plant, Baroda (Gujarat), a constituent unit of Department of Atomic Energy, I have been transferred to Heavy Water Plant, Manuguru (Andhra Pradesh) on public interest and relived me vide Office Order dated 17.11.2008(Copy enclosed). Accordingly, I joined HWP (Manuguru) on[protected] and on allotment of Departmental accommodation at Manuguru, I came back to Baroda to shift my family and household articles to Manuguru.

On survey to shift the goods from Baroda to Manuguru, I approached the branch office of M/s. Caravan Roadways Ltd (Caravan Packers & Movers)., located at Ahmedabad (Caravan Packers & Movers, 20 No, Sahara Complex, F/Floor, Near Navajivan Hotel, S G Highway, Sanand Chokdi, Sarkhej, Ahmedabad:382 210). The household articles containing 88 packages with proper documents & Octrai Exemption certificates were booked vide Consignment Note No.515578 dated 19.12.2008 at an agreed and advance payment of Rs. 31, 000/- with an assurance that entire goods will be shifted in one Truck with an escort. The entire goods were valued and covered insurance for an amount of Rs. 1, 00, 000/-.

The goods’ consisting 88 packs were reached Manuguru on 26.12.2008 without any escort and on unloading the goods it is found that the 3 seated Black wood sofa set, which was insured for Rs. 30, 000/-, was received in dilapidated condition. The photograph of the broken sofa set taken in presence of the Driver is enclosed. The Cartons bearing Nos. 13, 14, 35 & 36 are received in open condition and on verification of these cartons, it is found that 01 No. CD Player of Samsung make worth Rs. 4500/- was missing. On further verification, Steel drum worth Rs.1000/- from Carton No.52, Steel gas stove worth Rs. 2, 500/- were also found missing. On inquiry, the driver had replied that some of the Cartons were opened by Central Excise Department.


Immediately the situation was explained to Mr. Sunil Beniwal, Marketing Executive of M/s. Caravan Roadways Ltd., Ahmedabad over phone (Ph. No.[protected], [protected], [protected]) in presence of the Driver. In response to my complaint, Shri Sunil had given assurance to pay some compensation towards the lost of articles and damaged three seated sofa set in consultation with their Head Office at New Delhi at an early date. Honoring the assurance given by Mr. Sunil, the receipt of the Consignment was acknowledged on the same day with an endorsement on the Packing note.

I was on constant touch with Mr. Sunil Beniwal over phone (Ph. No. [protected]) and send 5-6 e-mails (mail Id: [protected]@caravanpackers.com) to redress my grievance at an early date. Instead of settling the grievance as assured, after passing three months time, Mr. Sunil Beniwal has directed me to represent my grievance to their Delhi Office by giving Delhi Office ie., with Mr. Wilson Phone No.( [protected]) mail Id. ([protected]@carvanpackers&movers).

Again I was forced to start correspondence and conversation with Delhi Office of M/s. Caravan Roadways Ltd., Having receipt of my correspondence and my telephonic conversation, they have paid deaf hear towards my grievance and on repeated contact with them they have communicated their willingness to pay compensation towards lost / damaged items an amount of Rs.550/- through e-mail dated[protected]enclosed).

The entire episode has driven me to represent your kind authority to resolve my grievance at the earliest. Hence, I earnestly request your august authority to pass necessary orders to M/s. Caravan Roadways Ltd., to pay a compensation of Rs.38, 000/- as per the value of the items shown below.

1) Cost of damaged 1 No. 3 seated Black wood sofa .. 30, 000-00
(ie., equivalent to insured value)
2) Cost of 1 No. Samsung make CD Player .. 4, 500-00
3) Cost of 1 No. Steel gas stove .. 2, 500-00
4) Cost of 1 No. Steel drum .. 1, 000-00
