Recently we had booked four multiple day stays at Delhi for a expo. As per India GST act and rules, no gst registered entity can deny for providing gstin tax invoice specifying customer gstin no. Agoda is providing only the payment receipt, which is of no use to me, since the same cannot be used for taking gst credit. The hotels associated with agoda says, the agoda will provide the invoice. That may b the case of tax evasion. How can they operate in India if they don't provide one invoice complying Indian regulations. Was this information helpful? |
