I booked a stay with agoda on May 17, 2023. They were claiming a cashback on that purchase ($50.93) after 60 days from checkout. As per this, i requested for the cashback after 60 days from checkout, but they are not responding even after several complaints. I tried to contact their customer service several times, but they are not responding after made me wait for hours and days. They said some technical issue and all data got erased and they will off 10% of booking amount in agoda cash which is just 1/4 of the amount in cash back

THis is their response today "First of all we apologize for the delay updates.
In regards to your issue, we have conducting investigation with our relevant team. However, we regret to inform you that we are not able to proceed with the cashback rewards, due to booking was amended to a lower amount."
No amount was amended or lowered. Neither does agoda allow us to pay less for the booking. Other sites were offering less amount, only because of the cashback . I want the cashback to be offered and government monitor such apps and compensation for multiple followups and harassment. Was this information helpful? |
