We booked an Air India flight through make my trip for 11th April from Kochi to Bangalore departure at 3.30 pm from Kochi. While trying to web check in the day before, we were informed by Air India that web check was not working and we should directly get boarding pass from the Air India counter at the Airport.
At the time of booking, we were not informed that my flight would be an ATR operated by Alliance Air. The ATR seating is congested and as a Senior Citizen and 6 ft tall, I found the trip uncomfortable especially as seats were non reclining. If I knew I would not have booked on such a flight.
At 12.30 pm the flight status display indicated that check in had started. When we approached the counter the official informed that check in would start only at 1.30 pm. At 12.45 pm the display showed security check. Again we went to the counter for check in and they informed that check in staff have not come in. Unable to understand how the flight status display can show such an erroneous message.
Finally after much discussion with your officials, they started check in at 1.15 pm. The problems did not stop there. The officials could not find our names in the passenger list. I took them over 15 minutes to finally get our check in done . This was a 2 1/2 hr flight with
No refreshments available ...so strange.
I feel this is sheer negligence and callousness on the part of Air India.
We chose Air India to get a feel of the new Air India ...we regret our decision.

My parents & 10 year old daughter was travelling from Allahabad to Kolkata (our home town), they had a train reservation for 18th June 2022 however due to the protests going on accross the country against Agneepath Scheme, their train got cancelled & i had to book a airline ticket from Allahabad to Kolkata for 19th June 2022. It is a connecting flight from Allahabad to New Delhi & then to Kolkata... The Allahabad to New Delhi flight is with Alliance Airlines and the flight from New Delhi to Kolkata is with Indigo Airlines.
Once my parents reached Allahabad Airport, Alliance Airways informed them that the flight has been delayed for 2 hours. The layover time in New Delhi is 2hr. 10mins. and hence this delay would mean that my parents are going to miss the connecting Indigo flight from New Delhi...
I contacted the Alliance Airways, Indigo Airways & also MakeMyTrip to see if anyone can help us on this buy no one was willing to or able to and they asked us to cancel the connecting flight, which would mean we need to pay extra. I explained the entire situation to everyone, and that we have already paid approx. 42, 000 for this... I don't blame Indigo or MakeMyTrip for this because the entire chaos was created by Alliance Airlines and they are doing nothing to help us!!!
This is such a inhuman behaviour at their end... Why should a passenger get harassed or had to pay extra because of their fault????
I have booked two tickets of alliance air from guwahati to kolkata with pnr 29QNAA of 02.06.2023 through easemy trip portal. On 25. 05 2023 I had received a message from the airline that as per your request the flight tickets are cancelled. Immediately I had called the airline any they say to contact easemy trip my travel agent and when I called ease my trip they are saying that I have cancelled through the website of alliance air but to my surprise I have not cancelled the said tickets. Sevveral times i have contacted custoner care of alliance air but theyrefuse to share any details from where thetickets are cancelled. Therefore request you to please intervene and help me with a solution so that I can travel on 2nd of June to kolkata.
I have no idea of cancellation of tickets and I had booked the tickets through ease my trip portal therefore if any cancellation is required I wil contact y travel agent rather than visiting the website and cancelling the tickets.
I think the staffs are looting the customers by booking tickets at low prices and then cancelling themselves and saying that customers are cancelling the same with applicable airline charges.
Request you kind intervention in the matter at the earliest and take action against the cheaters
