We had availed a ticket for Trip planned to Bangalore for my family (3 Members) and ticket bought through Make My Trip (Copy of Ticket attached). The Trip was scheduled on 10th Aug 2021 @ 9.30 am through AI 506.

Unfortunately, my family could not board the flight, as airline had closed the counter at 8.50 am and not allowed them to drop baggage or allowed them carry even the baggage after pleading with them. They were waiting in Queue for dropping baggage from 8.05 am, even after several request the Airline staff did not give priority for baggage drop.
We had even done web check-in for all passengers.
The family was in queue at 8.05 am itself, the copy of email of Air India enrollment with AIR India representative at 8.19 am done during waiting in queue is attached for proving the presence of family in Airport baggage drop queue..

As AIR India did not allow them board and presence in Bangalore for my family was urgent, we had booked tickets to another Next immediate flight available from same Airport and travelled to Bangalore.

We would hereby request you to refund the cost of ticket for all 3 passengers.

Kindly arrange to issue payment on immediate basis.

    It’s been more than a year and still I’ve not received my refund for the air line ticket canceled due to COVID situation

      would go through the legal chhanel. Please resolve my issue as soon as possible.

        Sir,

        Please refer booking reference No.H60E2, wherein myself along with my family members (total 4) had ticket for travel from Delhi to Bhubaneswar on 15.07.2021.

        During collection of boarding pass, one lady (on-duty) asked me for RT-PCR /RAT test negative report. Since we have had no such reports with us, she arranged some papers for declaration that we shall do the necessary tests at Bhubaneswar Airport, and we agreed.

        In the meantime, the supervisor rushed into the spot and told us to get the negative reports, otherwise boarding pass shall not be issued. We requested him to do the necessary tests at Bhubaneswar airport, but he did not agree and became aggressive when we asked for rules/guidelines, and directed us to do the tests at Delhi Airport itself. We rushed for tests, but could not succeed due to want of time, and the flight took off. We backed to our home in Delhi. I tried to know the name of the supervisor, but his name plate (Badge) in the pocket was down faced, and nobody told me his name.

        The rule is that RT-PCR/RAT test is mandatory, but it is also written that if no such report is submitted, then the passenger has to do the tests at Bhubaneswar airport. Due to less knowledge of the Supervisor on COVID-19 guidelines, we could not board the flight and our amount has been forfeited.

        In view of the above, it is requested to enquire into the matter whether it is the fault of the Supervisor and why he became so much aggressive to get the necessary tests there only. If it is his mistake, then the amount forfeited may please be given to me from the Supervisor’s pocket.

        I am submitting this application late because, I again purchases ticket on 18.07.2021 to Bhubaneswar, and came back to Delhi on 12.08.2021.

              Refund is not yet issued by Airline after 4 months.

              Flight on 27th April from Hyderabad to Mysore was cancelled by Airline at last minute - around 5 hrs before departure time.
              Even after refund claim is requested there has been no refund provided yet and no information on ETA.
              Status of refund request is same since last 4 months as approval pending from Airline(Air India)

                My travel agency applied for refund on April 29th but till now I have not received received I have called many times travel desk department of air india, I did email many times but not reply 1 time

                I have been following up with the agency [ Trip.com ] for the last 3&half months for the refund of my ticket. It is very sad that at this time of crisis you are holding my money for no reason. Blocking this lump sum money really matters to me. I have been following up with the travel agency [ Please refer my email chain with Trip.com since 29 April 2021] for the status of my refund and it's very clear that money was being held by Air India.

                I need immediate action from your end to get the money refunded quicky. i will expect a reply with a clear timeline for the refund of my money.

                  I have booked a flight using Air India website.

                  On 1st June received an update from Air India have changed our flight given us a connecting Flight Lucknow - Delhi - Bangalore with a layover of 8 hours in Delhi.

                  They have given us two options either we can cancel the tickets or choose any other date when a direct flight is available. As per the customer care executive, we will receive the full amount refund within 21 working days.

                    I cancelled my ticket and requested for a refund of $1543 in January 2021. After making 100s of phone calls, emails and fighting through 8 months. I got $595 couple of days ago. How many more months/years I have to fight with you people to get the rest of the money.Why are you embarrassing Indian people in-front of others? Help me if you can.

                        Myself and Two kids [ aged 4 and 2 ] have booked tickets with AirIndia . Booking reference:J863S
                        11/08/2021:Chennai -- Mumbai [AI 672] - First Leg
                        12/08/2021: Mumbai--London [AI 131] - Second Leg

                        1) First-leg, no issues, reached Mumbai on time.
                        2) Second-Leg, in Mumbai terminal2 Check-in counter, AirIndia staff [ Viraj ], rejected us to travel, reason was "Stayed in India More than 2 Years".
                        I have explained many times No such rule for "Dependent Visa". However, they didn't allow us.
                        3) Myself and Two kids [ aged 4 and 2 ] were struggled a lot and went through painful situation.
                        4)My husband, enquired with Home office, they confirmed that, she can enter into UK with this Visa.
                        5) Just because of their misunderstanding, we suffered a lot.
                        6) I need your help on this issue for re-booking and compensation.

                          Rescheduling of ticket-customer care not responding

                          I have booked a ticket from Hyderabad to Tirupati through travel agent Happy Easy GO. dated 8th August 2021. But I contacted their customer care on 7th August 2021, before 26 hours of departure of flight for rescheduling as per their free change of ticket before 26 hours of departure.

                          I had booked 6 tickets using my Air India FF Air Miles and 2 tickets using credit card in last year Feb 2020, but looking in to current situation for COVID19, still limited flights are operating and it seems countries have not allowed immigration for Indian Travelers at this moment.

                          now I am getting this update from Air India that they have refunded the tickets but I have not received any amount and miles in my account, when I called Air India customer care for miles credit they said your miles are expired and can't be credit back.

                          I never said to refund the the same, not sure why Air India has initiated refund process automatically.

                          I want to retain the tickets and I have not given any consent to cancel the same.

                            I had booked 2 return tickets for travel in May from Bangalore to Chicago, which had to be cancelled due to travel ban imposed by USA. I have raised the refund issue and called Airindia customer care several times, but no refund, only excuses and false assurances of it being processed in next 3/5/7/15/21 days. PNR for the booking is YEHL5.

                              Since April 2021, I have been requesting you through several emails and telephone for the refund of my cancelled tickets, "JV14P" and "Z7CFB". It's almost four months but till date I have not yet received the amount. Other than the system generated email reply no communication has been received!
                              Since me and my entire family were infected with COVID, we couldn't travel and all necessary medical documents along with Aadhar card copies had been sent to you for your further process, but no response from your side.
                              It's disgusting and frustrating! I'm a poor citizen and badly affected due to the lockdown and my financial condition has become pathetic and your organisation does not bother to refund my hard earned money.

                                Hello, I am Hema. It's been 150days since I've asked for my refund whereas the flight got cancelled by air India. Everytime I'm calling them Nd makin me to wait like a fool by saying the reason again Nd again. I can't withstand anymore, I want to take an action on this. I had paid huge 46k INR for my ticket. I wrote several emails to the refund Nd escalation department but no response yet. I'm just done with this, I want my refund and my e-ticket numb is 098-[protected].

However Air india is claiming that the will settle the refund within 21days.
