My complaint no. 10626444 for a refund against cancelled flight tickets is still not resolved. It's more than 2 month since I lodged the complaint while I was informed that the refund will reflect on my credit card/ account within 21 days.

Background: I had booked flight from Bikaner to Delhi along with a connecting flight from Delhi to Mumbai for 2nd June 2021 through Air India website. When I reached Bikaner (Nal) airport, I was informed that due to bad weather and low visibility, flight AI 9834 will be delayed or cancelled and I won't be able to catch the next Air India flight AI 0805 also. There was no other option available on the same day for rescheduling. Therefore, Air India staff suggested that I can opt for cancellations of both connecting flights and will get FULL REFUNFD.
AI flight tickets:
1. Bikaner to Delhi (PNR - Y20RB) ticket amount Rs. 4, 742/-
2. Delhi to Mumbai (PNR - Z9H14) ticket amount Rs. 5, 326/

    It have been more than 2 months still i didn't get my refund..they had cancelled my ticket still the didn't gave my refund amount

      AIR INDIA DENIED ME BOARDING FLIGHT on[protected] AND gave me cancelled PNR RECEIPT .. WITH WHICH THEY SAID I CAN CLAIM A FULL REFUND... on[protected] claimed refund but air india didn't gave any refund till now.

        Complaint: Requested Call Centre for reschedule of journey to 21st October 2021 on 7th August 2021 well before 26 hours of departure of flight as per AIR INDIA Free change of Date policy. customer support agent noted the request and transfered to Booking department, but the call was dropped. Again I called customer support and informed the same. They said that ticketing department will call me on m regd mobile/mail&issue new ticket

          They said refund will be credited in 2 weeks. It is more than a month. Tried to reach customer support multiple times. They don't respond emails and you will never be able to connect the customer support number. At the end they are not reachable and I am not getting any update as well on my refund. Please help.

            Dear Air India, I am following up from last 18 months to initiate my refund against ticket number[protected]/48 but no response tired sending email on [protected]@airindia.in but seems no one bothered to reply my email.

            Flight cancelled due to COVID-19 which was scheduled on 19th March 20 but till date no refund received.

              Dear sir

              I am sending you this mail after doing lots of afford to get my refund amount since last one year. I am sending the mail to ecommerce and they are giving same reply since last one year that your refund amount Will credited within 20 working day as they sent reply in jul 21 but still didn't get my refund amount. I am sending this mail continuously since last one year to e-commerce Air India . Already 18 months gone to cancelled the booking still I am waiting for refund .Kindly look into the matter and do the needful .

                In connection with reference, I want to bring into your notice, my septuagenarian parent wanted to avail your premier service on 24th June 2021 from New Delhi to Mumbai via Flight no AI 865 but unfortunately they could not fly (denied by airlines at airport).The reason given by air lines is not carrying RTPCR report. Followings are my arguments

                1. First of all, I want to clear you, while booking of the ticket, nowhere it was mentioned or notified that RTPCR report is mandatory for travel to said destination.

                2. Even while doing web check-in, it was neither pointed out to carry RTPCR report nor led to denial of web check-in.

                3. On the 24th of June 2021 my old parents reached airport well before time (allowed by CISF at entrance) but at Air India counter they were denied boarding for not carrying RTPCR test report.

                4. My old parents were in great trauma and shock for not allowing to board, that too without their any mistake or fault.

                5. Even airlines did not offer for rescheduling of flight.

                6. This led to cancellation of tickets (besides having valid ticket )

                7. Lastly, it took them 2 hrs to come out of the airport from that incident.

                After happening all this to my parents, still we preferred and booked air India flight after 2 days of this incident to travel to Mumbai.

                With utter confidence and humble request to you to reimburse the amount of ticket booked considering all the said events happened with old parents especially in this pandemic situation.

                  We have cancelled on 18th June.. they said we will receive full refund in 21 days... We keep calling them . They are always saying wait for few daz .. 2 times they told some dates .. we willl receive on some dates.. both dates .. we have not received anything.. multiple tickets are booked with them ... They are always giving false statement...

                  Last time it's in process. We will receive it on 15th august max.. all false promises and all dates passed..

                  Please look into matter and help us urgently... We have money blocked with them.

                    I Tried to book.ticket on 11 August at 13.20. Paris time and transaction was passed in bank but confirmation didn't come no Pnr, no message, no email came for ticket then I booked another ticket in airindia, paid another ticket .

                    I have informed bank to cancel this transaction of 1023 eur but bank told to wait for transaction to appear in account then I received the ticket after 5 hours, we have called air india they said they cancelled the ticket and transaction will not come in your bank.. don't worry ... They assured us 2 times over call and confirmed that transaction will not appear .. then I have informed bank air india will not send ..

                    But Transaction is debited on 13th August, why They have placed the transaction in the bank after
                    after assurance over call and bank has called me for transaction.. I sent them mail to please confirm .. please revert transaction of 1023 euro within their system.
                    Esle, I have to take the help of local bank your transaction and air india put false transaction sent on cancelled ticket.

                    I have also paid 28 euro more on 1023 euro for conversion charges...

                    I have no answer and I'm still waiting ..

                    Could you please suggest shal I revert the transaction with the help of bank.

                      Address: AI Office, Calicut International Airport,

                      I am hereby to inform you that, AI Calicut airport staffs & Officer did not allow me to travel from calicut to Dubai.
                      I Already have the required valid documents and approval from UAE Govt. I presented it at the time of check-in but the officials did not allow me to travel because of the reason they mentioned that I have invalid GDRF approval.
                      I hereby attaching the GDRF Approval which I have got on 4th August and still valid. Because of this existence of the approval I could not apply for another. Its showing status of the process is already exist.

                      Because of these reasons I could not travel to Dubai. AI Staffs misbehave me at that time.
                      Travelling Expense from Kannur to Calicut, RTPCR test charges, Rapid test charges at Calicut, Return Expenses from Calicut, all were beared by me. I lost my money. May be it will effect my job also.

                      I requesting you to get compensation & take necessary action against the officials who misbehave at the time of my that situation. Very poor customer service I faced there.

                      NB: Please find the all supporting documents for taking the necessary actions.

                        Was submitting my luggage at the luggage counter. Many of the staff were pulling their mask down while talking. So many passengers in the queue did not maintain social distance and were talking pulling their masks down. People sticking to each other in queues.
                        Is there any staff keeping a check on these things?

                              We had availed a ticket for Trip planned to Bangalore for my family (3 Members) and ticket bought through Make My Trip (Copy of Ticket attached). The Trip was scheduled on 10th Aug 2021 @ 9.30 am through AI 506.

                              Unfortunately, my family could not board the flight, as airline had closed the counter at 8.50 am and not allowed them to drop baggage or allowed them carry even the baggage after pleading with them. They were waiting in Queue for dropping baggage from 8.05 am, even after several request the Airline staff did not give priority for baggage drop.
                              We had even done web check-in for all passengers.
                              The family was in queue at 8.05 am itself, the copy of email of Air India enrollment with AIR India representative at 8.19 am done during waiting in queue is attached for proving the presence of family in Airport baggage drop queue..

                              As AIR India did not allow them board and presence in Bangalore for my family was urgent, we had booked tickets to another Next immediate flight available from same Airport and travelled to Bangalore.

                              We would hereby request you to refund the cost of ticket for all 3 passengers.

                              Kindly arrange to issue payment on immediate basis.

                                    I want to inform you that an online fraud and illegal money transfer held on 13.08.2021 by the person (as referred from AI India Customer Care as City Area Manager holding phone no. [protected]) from my SBI Savings Ac and ICICI Savings Ac. of total Rs. 30000(Rupees Thirty Thousand ).

                                    I was trying to rescheduling my Air Ticket (PNR- JBLCD, Ticket no[protected] from 04.08.2021. Several times I have contacted Air India Customer Care but after long delay/waiting the calls gets disconnected. I have tried again and again for the same. Later on 12.08.2021 I received a number from Air-India Customer Care by calling [protected] at 22.23 hrs. They told me to contact on [protected] (mentioned as City Area Manager) who can be able to do it.

                                    Accordingly I have contacted on [protected] on 13.08.2021 at 16.26. He asked me regarding my rescheduling requirement and details of ticket and required date. He asked me to pay the extra amount difference of rescheduling. Within a few minutes he hacked my mobile and carry out the illegal transaction of total Rs. 30000 (Rupees Thirty Thousand ) from my SBI Savings Ac and ICICI Savings Ac. This transaction held without my permission.

                                    Sir, I want to request you to please initiate an enquiry and return my amount in my Ac. at the earliest.

                                      Sir,

                                      Please refer booking reference No.H60E2, wherein myself along with my family members (total 4) had ticket for travel from Delhi to Bhubaneswar on 15.07.2021.

                                      During collection of boarding pass, one lady (on-duty) asked me for RT-PCR /RAT test negative report. Since we have had no such reports with us, she arranged some papers for declaration that we shall do the necessary tests at Bhubaneswar Airport, and we agreed.

                                      In the meantime, the supervisor rushed into the spot and told us to get the negative reports, otherwise boarding pass shall not be issued. We requested him to do the necessary tests at Bhubaneswar airport, but he did not agree and became aggressive when we asked for rules/guidelines, and directed us to do the tests at Delhi Airport itself. We rushed for tests, but could not succeed due to want of time, and the flight took off. We backed to our home in Delhi. I tried to know the name of the supervisor, but his name plate (Badge) in the pocket was down faced, and nobody told me his name.

                                      The rule is that RT-PCR/RAT test is mandatory, but it is also written that if no such report is submitted, then the passenger has to do the tests at Bhubaneswar airport. Due to less knowledge of the Supervisor on COVID-19 guidelines, we could not board the flight and our amount has been forfeited.

                                      In view of the above, it is requested to enquire into the matter whether it is the fault of the Supervisor and why he became so much aggressive to get the necessary tests there only. If it is his mistake, then the amount forfeited may please be given to me from the Supervisor’s pocket.

                                      I am submitting this application late because, I again purchases ticket on 18.07.2021 to Bhubaneswar, and came back to Delhi on 12.08.2021.
