Air India — baggage damage | |||
Was traveling from kolkata delh dehradun on 19th nov 2017 on air india flight no. 9i 609. On arriving at dehradun, i found my luggage was heavily damaged beyond any repair. When i approached the air india local office at the airport, they verified the luggage and issued a damage baggage report and said that since it is a very small airport, they can only issue the dbr but i need to claim against the damaged only in the bigger airport at metro city. After reaching kolkata airport, i again approached the air india office. The team here took some photographs of the luggage and dbr and asked me to call the number [protected]. On calling that number i was again asked to send the email with the soft copy of the dbr and the boarding pass which i did. But later during the day, i was told over the phone that they cannot do anything. I need to personally reach out to dehradun air india team and settle it. Enclosed herewith is the scan copy of the dbr issued by dehradun air india team. Where every i approach for help, i get only harassment for asking me to go round and round in circles.
