Air India — baggage detention without any feedback | |||
I had traveled in AI flight from Mumbai to Calcutta on June 14. I was an international passenger flying from Newark to Mumbai by United and Mumbai to Calcutta in Air India flight. My checked in baggage arrived in Mumbai without any problem, but did not arrive in Kolkata, and now this is June 19th, 6 days since I reached, but I have not received my baggage. I had contacted AI staff in Kolkata who stated me that the baggage is with MIAL security for additional checking and once that is complete, the baggage will be delivered to me. It's been 6 days now, I have not received my bags. I called MIAL security and they mentioned that all checkings are complete and it is in the hands of AI to pick up the baggage for delivery. When I am calling AI they are giving all sorts of lame excuses. This is disgusting and highly unprofessional and disgraceful for an international carrier like AI. I would like someone to contact me send me my baggage ASAP. Was this information helpful? | |||
