I booked an Air Ticket from Singapore to Tiruchirappalli (Booking Reference - S096MA)on 03 November 2021 for myself, my wife and child. But I changed my mind and cancelled the ticket the next morning, which is 04 November 2021. Even though I cancelled before 24 hours of booking, The refund amount shown was $217.50. I am coming back to India due to loss of job and It is really disheartening to see that they are deducting $1008 as penalty fee.I received and email from the nodal officer stating that I am not eligible for the refund of full amount and I am only elgible to receive $217.50. I cancelled the ticket within 24 hours and the booking was for 19 November 2021. There is no loss for the airline.Air India express can deduct the cancellation fee. I am ok with it. In the air ticket they haven't mentioned that the ticket is VBM/repatriation flight and the fee is not refundable once it is cancelled. They have mentioned everything about the luggage and other documents needed but this serious thing about the refund of ticket fare they haven't mentioned. If they had mentioned this atleast in the air ticket I wouldn't have cancelled the ticket. Please take the necessary action to refund the amount.

    Really unhappy with your decision to schedule my flight before 24 of the old departure time. caused terrible loss to us since modified time is not affordable to us.

    Now 1500 AED additionally i paid additionally to book another air ticket.

      I booked a ticket for 13th September from Sharjah to Trivandrum on 7th September 2021. Payment was deducted from the account but the ticket got cancelled due to payment failure. We have contacted your customer service and financial teams several times but still no response from your side.

      Please process the refund as soon as possible.

        I had cancelled my ticket online on 06-Sept-2021. When contacted nodal said refund has been processed to the credit / debit card used for the transaction. It may take approx. 7 – 10 working days for the amount to reflect against your account. it was on 05-Oct-2021. Till no sight of refund money in credit card. AIE simply use customer money to improve their cash flow. One of the worst rates customer care by them. All other airline including AIR India does not have refund issues. we get within seven days of cancellation.

          I was booked air India express ticket Trichy to kulalampur in 15th septemper 2021, I cancelled 17th September 2021 (for some immigration issues), my PNR NO YC7MOG
          I call customer care and they are inform 15days process to refund, after 15days no news
          Again I call, customer care, they told this week definitely refund
          Next week again call they are told send email and process, no reply for mail
          but already more than 1month, but still they are no response for my refund process.
          Please help me for refund

              My flight PNR was AVCJXF, it was cancelled by air line itself.
              I was informed that refund will be processed in couple of weeks.
              now its been more than 45 days but still payment is pending.
              I have called call center and sent several emails but nothing has happened.
              I always got standard reply which is auto generated one.

              appreciate if you can look into this matter and refund my amount asap

                I have booked an airticket with Air India Express for 25/04/2021. I tried to change the travel date travel date before 3 days of the date of travel and I couldn't do that because of server issue of AirIndia express. I called many times to the call center and directly visited their office in UAE and they couldn't help me as the server was not working for 1 week. because of because of the current increase in the Covid cases in India. I am trying to do the same from yesterday onwards through the site and I am not able to do the same as the site is not working. All these details I have communicated to the customer care through multiple emails before the travel date.
                Because of the above I was not able to chnage or cancel my ticket before the travel date and when asked for a refund, Air India express given me a reply that they can provide only tax amount as my ticket is showing in 'NoShow' categoery.
                I am not able to understand how my ticket will be considered as No show as I have tried to connect them by various means 3 days prior to my travel date. I sent emails, made many phone calls and directly visited their office to change the travel date and could do that because of your system issue.

                  My Air india express Flight was cancelled from Dammam to Kozhikode which was on sept 1st . I have requested for refund from the AIR INDIA Office in Khobar, Saudi Arabia on 25th August 2021. and they assured that money will be credited to my bank account after 20 days However, I have not received the refund amount yet in my account .

                          I have booked an air ticket through Air India Express for my family as per the below details.

                          Confirmation Number: WNAAZG
                          Route of Journey: Doha / Kozhikode / Doha
                          Travel Date: 03 July 2020 / 30 July 2020

                          The flight was cancelled by Air India Express due to Covid Restrictions and Air India agreed to cancel the ticket and provide me a refund on 01 February 2021. I have received an E-mail from Air India Express a confirmation of refund amount on the 03 February 2021. But unfortunately, since 9 months I haven't received the amount from Air India Express. I have sent several reminders, but I am getting a reply from them saying that we are working on your booking.Please be patient'.

                          I will very much obliged if you can do the needful to get my refund. I am very upset in the delay as the refund amount is almost equivalent to INR 87, 000.00 (QAR 4, 325)

                            Air India Express Cancellation Refund

                            There is no confirmation mail for the cancellation nor its showing any details of cancellation in website. No response at all when trying to contact the customer care or toll-free number. No refund after cancellation and a horrible experience from Indian government run airlines.

                            There is no place of contact or response, itself is a headache for the customers and won't book or recommend these airlines to no one. If not able...

                            Myself Aruna Rajendran, I booked a flight for my parents in April'21, below are the details
                            My PNR Number of airindia express :- PNR - QXVIJW
                            Travel date: 24th May 2021
                            cancellation date: 27th April.
                            Amount to be refunded :- INR Rs.40, 940.84(less cancellation charges)

                            This is regarding my parents earlier flight to Singapore from Chennai. I had booked our ticket for 20th April, But because of the developing covid situation as the visa to enter into Singapore was canceled and my parents were unable to travel on the said date. So I had called Air India Express customer care and cancelled my flight on 27th April 2021.
                            The customer care representative told me that a refund has been initiated and I would receive the full refund within 15 days, but it's more than 15 days and I haven't received my refund till Jun'21. So I called the customer care again and they told to mail me to [protected]@airindiaexpress.in, I got a email that they will revert back shortly.
                            Then I emailed again 9th July and i got reply asking me to be patience and support. But i didn't get the money back.
                            I had emailed again on 11th Aug got another response saying the refund amount has been processed to the card holders account shortly.
                            Still haven't received the money till today 21st September.
                            Please help me in getting my money back!
