Dear Sir,

I had requested the air India express team to cancel my ticket after getting confirmation from the customer support team that, am able to avail the full refund on the ticket as the Air India Express rescheduled the flight for more than 3 hours.

But unfortunately I didn’t receive any updates on the refund after that.

It’s now almost 2 months now.

I am keep on sending mails to the customer support team.

      Not get the agreed refund

      I purchased doha - kochi ticked from qatar on online (As attached). The ticket confirmation number is bnnugc & the travel date was 12th june 2020. The flight cancelled by air india express due to the covid 19.
      The passenger travelled to kochi on repatriation flight on 01.07.2020 boarding pass attached, as the passenger was on visit visa she cannot use the ticket in future.

      I sent several email to aie and finally...

      Respected sir/madam,
      I am Boopesh from Coimbatore, I had booked a ticket from Tiruchirappalli to Singapore for the date of 23/05/2021 (Booking copy attached)PNR : TPIBOX. Due to covid 19 pandemic Singapore government had closed its borders for entry. So I had cancelled my ticket on 20/05/2021(cancellation copy attached) and they had charged penalty of Rs5000-/ . During this pandemic most of the airlines never charge penalties and support their customers. But air india express even after charging for penalties they can’t able to refund for past one month and asking me to be patient, whenever I email them through their customer support mail ID I had attached those conversations. Also don’t know how long to patient and wait for the refund amount of Rs:15334-/. I kindly request you to go through my situation and do us the needful.

        Actually my ticket date is 25 th June and I need to modify it to August 20 due to current circumstances.
        I have call customer call more than 100 times, visited city offices, and even emails with no issues
        If not possible please refund my money.

          DGCA Team,

          I need to file a complaint against Airindia Express.

          I've booked an international return flight ticket from Sharjah to Mumbai. Due to unavoidable circumstances and lockdown restrictions i had to cancel the tickets on May-09.

          I've approached to air india express and cancelled my bookings. In turn Air india express has promised me that they will be providing me a refund of 5, 545/- Rs. And they have provided me a document which is attached to this email for your reference.

          Meanwhile, i had wrote an email to Nodal Officer on to which he replied that refund has been processed from their end. But when i spoke to their customer support still they are saying that, funds aren't yet released from airline side.

          Nodal officer response email is also attached for your kind perusal.

          If the funds ain't yet released from airline side then why they're misleading me.

          I've been following up from one and a half months now but still its not yet resolved.

          Please do the needful and look into the matter on immediate basis.

          All necessary documents are attached.

            I had booked a ticket from Calicut to Doha on 27th April 2021. But since I was tested positive for Covid 19 on 26 April 2021 I was not able to travel on 27th and I had requested for the cancellation of ticket on 26th April itself.

            During the time of Booking the ticket, Airindia Express Website server was down so I had to book the ticket manually through customer care centre and because of that reason I haven’t received any PNR/Confirmation Number for the ticket. I just received the ITR TICKET COPY.When asked for the PNR/Confirmation number to the customer care agents, they informed that since the ticket was booked manually from customer care centre and website is down so the PNR won’t be issued.

            Till now I haven’t received any proper response from their side even after calling the customer care n number of times and also sending them emails.

              The ticket has been cancelled by Air India Express, but now they are not responding for a refund even after writing emails to customer care, nodal officers.
              I request higher authority to refund cancelled ticket as early as possible.

                Hi,
                9 month befor this happen please help me

                I booked the ticket from Dubai, DXB Terminal 2 to Kozhikode for 15 th July, 2020 on 10/07/2020 (Friday). The payment got deducted(740) but didnt get the confirmation instead got the message to send the details to customer support for clarification. I sent a mail to the customer support and got automatic reply..

                So that why please refund my money to my account ..

                  Dear Sir,
                  I am following up with Air India Express since April 2021 for the refund of my cancelled trip ( Booking ref: SUNNQR) due to covid 19 travel ban. i have sent more than 10 emails to customer care and finance dept. as advised by customer care representatives. Most of the time I have received system generated replies only. On May 15 I have received an email from customer support, mentioned that" you will receive refund shortly". But last week I have contacted them again, but they informed me that in their system it is showing the status is "under process". I am getting this reply from customer service for the last 2 months. Please look into the matter and kindly do the needful.

                    Hello team,

                    I had cancelled my Air India ticket due to the COVID-19 issues and had applied for a refund for my air ticket four months ago, and I have not received it yet. I was told that the refund will be processed within 4 weeks and yet I have not received it even after 4 months. Despite my repeated attempts through emails and customer service calls to get the refund of the flight from Toronto to Bangalore dated 20th February 2021, the customer support or e-commerce Air India has failed in resolving the query. Each time I call the customer service department, they say they don't deal with refunds, and any information about refunds can be obtained by emailing the e-commerce team of Air India. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with Air India. I have been dropping several emails, and yet I get no response from them. My request to you is to please help me in getting my refund from Air India as soon as possible. Thank you.

                      Amount to be refunded :- 28, 021.36 INR

                      This is regarding our earlier flight to Dubai from Mangalore. I had booked our ticket for 6th may, But because of flight suspension we were unable to travel on the said date. So I had called Air India Express customer care and cancelled my flight, and the customer care representative told me that a refund has been initiated and I would receive the full refund within 15 days, but it's more than 15 days now and I still haven't received my refund yet. So I called the customer care again on 24th May and they told to mail me to [protected]@airindiaexpress.com, but still no reply. Called them again on 28th May they are saying to mail it to [protected]@airindiaexpress.com and [protected]@airindiaexpress.com.
                      Please help me in getting my money back!

                          Dear Sir,

                          I have requested cancellation for mine and my wife's Air India Express ticket on the 8th of April 2021 and I was informed il be getting the refund amount but till date they have never issued me anything untill now. They are first of all charging higher ticket fare on the one side and on the other hand when asked for refund they are telling vague excuses. Really it is unacceptable behaviour from their side in these tough times.

                            Hi There, I had booked flight tickets for myself and my wife to travel from Trichy to Kuala Lumpur and was supposed to board a flight on 28th April 2021. On 26th April 2021 evening at around 4.30pm IST Malaysia banned Indians from entering Malaysia effective from 28th April 2021. Indian High commission also acknowledged this on their website on 27th April 2021 and mentioned Vande Bharat mission flights to Malaysia are suspended. First Air India Express did not confirm this until 28th April 2021 2:46pm IST. Post confirming I have been asking them about the refund, I didnt get any response for 4-5 days post which they replied saying I will not be getting the refund. I challenged back asking why I will not be getting refund but no response to that email. As per DGCA I should be getting refund in 7 days but no luck so far. I tried reaching customer support, waited on call for 30 mins and when finally an executive attended the call, he says my flight status in the system says "Flight Cancelled, Passenger No Show" which doesnt make sense. I have wrote multiple times asking for clarification but no response. My PNR number is RKHCGB and my passport number Z3824747. I am attaching all the email follow ups I have done so far, but no luck. Also their customer service is also pathetic, I was supposed to travel to Trichy from Mysore with my pregnant wife to board a flight. But these people kept saying the flight will be functional as scheduled despite Malaysian Govt ban & Indian High Commission acknowledging it, if I had trusted these guys I would have made my pregnant wife travel for 8 hours for nothing. There would have been lots of people with kids, old aged people or people with disabilities who would have gone through the same if these guys wont cascade the information properly. They dont respond to email, FB Chat or Instagram nothing, pathetic. They are already charging two times more than a normal ticket price which is ok for us due to pandemic but not giving a refund is not acceptable.

                                I was travelling with my family from Dubai to Lucknow .
                                As per confirmation from your deira office of air india express and call center ( +[protected]), if child age is below 12 years, PCR test not required for kids. This confirmation done on 22 february 2021 at 10:00 am.
                                According to that, I did mine and my wife's RT-PCR test and excluded my children( age 8 year, 6 year and 2 year).
                                But when I reached airport the gentlemen clearly said that PCR test required for all passengers including children and infants.

                                Please tell me, how as a passenger I can get update ?

                                If we are doing COVID test it takes 12 to 24 hours to get report.
                                Till 22 february, I have neither received any email / messages nor update from Air India Express regarding COVID test policies.
                                Now, because due to air india express staf[censored]nawareness I was not allowed to onboard.
                                When I am cancelling tickets they are returning only taxes.
                                For what they are charging me airfares?

                                  Please find attached flight ticket from mangalore to Doha for 2nd may timing 17:35 departure but it was preponed to morning 11:25 am. The flight number was also changed. My husband Noel Pereira did not receive any information about it. Can you please urgently send email regarding flight timing change as he needs to amend his hotel quarantine booking in Doha. He has booked another available flight currently but for hotel quarantine he needs email from air india express regarding flight timing change.

                                    Ticket Doha-Kochi (PNR: ZWJBVL) cancelled but money is not credited even after 4 months and numerous follow ups.
                                    After 3 months of waiting, i sent Email to Nodal officer, he said, it will be credited with in 1 week, but not credited even after 1 month.

                                    A worst experience in processing re-fund requests.

                                      Dear Sir/Madam,

                                      Greetings of the day!

                                      Please be informed that, I have booked my flight on 06th March 2021, Flight # IX1117 from Delhi to Muscat, started at 20 hours from Delhi International Airport.

                                      Kindly note that due wrong date mentioned on my Covid Test Report, the Delhi Airport Authority doesn't allow me to board on flight and I miss my flight. I show the PDF File, stated the report generated on 04th March 2021 and details also there in PDF file, but the Airport Authority Guy, who check the documents not allowed me to board the flight and I miss the flight.

                                      Also note that, due to my job requirements, I should report my Company on 07th March 2021, if I did not report at 07th March then I loose my job, soon that situation I updated my manager and requested him to give me one more day time i.e. till 08th March 2021 and he considered my request and booked the flight immediately for Next date i.e. 07th March, 2021.

                                      Please note that, after did my covid test there in Delhi airport at 08:00 PM and get my report 12:30 AM and immediately book my ticket to Muscat on 07th March 2021 and land in Muscat.

                                      IMPORTANT NOTE : I am requesting you to please approach Air India Express and refund my ticket money, which I booked on 06th Match 2021 and I am unable to fly on this flight, so you are please refund my money as soon as possible in my same card which I used for booking.

                                      Also find attached the ticket for your information and references.
