Air India Express — Boarding Pass issued, but could not travel and misbehaving, handling of staff.
Dear sir, Myself, Wife and Daughter were supposed to travel to Salalah on[protected] on the 09.25am flight no-IX445. When we were in the counter no.4, Miss Jaseena issued all 3 boarding passes and gave it to us. She send all 3 baggage in one passenger name without putting the tags. After handing over the boarding pass, she asked us to wait for 10 minutes to get back the baggage so that we could identify our baggage and she could tag it. After waiting there for 15 minutes, I approached her and she said to wait for aother 10 minutes. So overall we lost about 30 minutes of our time. Then we went to the immigration counter. From there we came to know that Unfortunately my wife's visa was in the old passport and she brought her new one. Due to the negligence of the staff Miss Jaseena, we came to know about this matter very late. It was her responsibility to check and ensure that all passengers have their visa before giving the boarding passes. If we could've known this matter earlier, we would have had the time to make arrangements to get the old passport to the airport in time. By the time we got the passport it was 09.05am, and the management gave orders to deport us. It was the mistake of one staff that we lost our money and time. I could not go alone leaving my wife because she is handicapped. I had to join my company today, and now i can't. I asked the management to postponed these tickets for the next flight to Salalah, But nothing was done. I've lost a huge sum of money and I demand a compensation for my loss. I Hope you take this into consideration. Was this information helpful?
