I would like to lodge a formal complaint against Air India Express regarding a serious delay and poor service handling for my flight under booking reference XZGG3L.
The flight was supposed to arrive at 7:50 AM, but I eventually reached my destination at 1:30 PM—a delay of over five hours. Passengers were boarded by 4:45 AM, but the airline did not inform us of the technical issue until around 7:00 AM. Throughout this period, there was no timely communication or proper assistance. After multiple requests and exchanges, the airline eventually provided breakfast, but only after prolonged delay and frustration.
This disruption had a significant impact on my professional obligations. I was scheduled to resume work and attend important internal meetings crucial to closing business matters. The delay resulted in missed meetings and disrupted my work schedule entirely.
I find this level of service unacceptable and am seeking appropriate compensation for the inconvenience, time loss, and the professional setback caused by this avoidable situation.
