My name is Gaurav Khandelwal, resident of A-1/67, Sector-7, Rohini, Delhi – 110085.I belongs to a middle class Family
I had arranged a spiritual trip for my parents and relatives, most of whom are senior citizens, to visit Kanchipuram, Rameshwaram, and Tirupati. For this purpose, I booked six flight tickets by Airindia Express under three PNRs for travel on 14th December from Hindon Airport to Chennai Airport, scheduled from 06:10 AM to 08:55 AM.
PNR : G58B6J
J5JC5J
FCJ28B
The total cost of the booking was ₹32, 503, which was within my budget and planned carefully considering the age and comfort of the passengers.
Subsequently, I received a message informing me that the said flight had been cancelled. As an alternative, I was offered a non-direct flight reaching Chennai at 21:30 PM, which was completely unsuitable given the pre-planned itinerary and the age of the passengers.
I requested you to arrange an alternative direct flight from New Delhi or any nearby airport at a similar time; however, my request was refused.
Due to the fixed travel plan and urgency, I was left with no option but to book new flight tickets on the same date at similar timings, which cost me ₹45, 714, significantly exceeding my original budget.
This situation is highly unfair. While passengers receive no refund or compensation if they cancel their tickets, airlines cancel flights at their convenience, causing financial loss and inconvenience to customers.
Therefore, I am formally demanding compensation of ₹13, 211, which is the difference amount incurred due to the flight cancellation.
Kindly arrange payment of the above amount to the following bank account at the earliest:

I request your prompt attention and resolution of this matter.
