I have booked air india express flight in march from HYD to MCT. the date of journey is on 15th of april 2023 and the flight number is IX-913. The PNR number is W09GYK.
2 days prior to departure i got a message saying the flight has been cancelled and i can take refund for the same. i have initially applied refund through your chatbot TIA where i got a reply saying the amount will be refunded in a week to which proof is attached, which i did not receive.
again i called customer service since i did not receive refund where they told they had to raise a complaint for the refund to be issued which your chatbot did not mention at all. so they have raised a complaint and have told that refund will be given in 3 days.
i waited 3 days and then called your customer care number again after which they told that there is a merger issue and told to wait a week more.
now i have waited that week and still haven’t got my refund.
the complaint number which call center team has given is 04278250.
After followup after a week's time, air india express customer care again gave a compliant no: 04383354.
As air india express is not responding in I would request you to kindly intervene and take action against air india express so that they refund my amount immediately. Also I would like to claim amount of 5000 extra for the delay in refunding the amount by air india express.
Also the way the customer care executives are responding is not polite.
