On a recent london to new delhi flight on 6th nov, flight no ai 112, the inflight entertainment was not working. I was initially informed that this will start in 45 minutes. After every 1 hour these reassurance messages were given. Finally after waiting for 4 hours, i was informed that the system was faulty and this would be the case throughout the duration of the journey.
I then approached the cabin crew for compensation. I was informed that they were not equipped to deal with this and i would have to contact customer service.
In my previous experiences from various trips i have undertaken with a range of airlines, this issue has been compensated. I would like you to investigate this matter and provide compensation at the earliest.
