Hi, I (Vishal Kumar) had a flight (AI440) for tomorrow (26th Oct 2014) scheduled for departure from Chennai to Delhi at 0640 hours. However, I got an email stating the flight is delayed by 4 hours and has been re-scheduled for departure at 1045 hours. I have some important meetings lined up and can't afford to travel late. I had called up the customer care and I was told to contact Chennai Air India Airport Authorities. My concern here is why the passenger needs to call so many authorities to get this moving and why is that the Air India can't take the responsibility of ensuring giving proper service to it's customer???
I wish someone from Air India calls me up and make necessary arrangements to ensure I travel on time. My contact no. is [protected].
However, I don't have much expectation from Air India service as it's known for taking things for granted. However, being an Indian Citizen I still have faith in Consumer Complaints Department to look into this matter seriously.
