Air India — frequent change of gates during departure causing extreme inconvenience to customers..
I was travelling from kolkata to mumbai on 03 dec 17. As per my boarding pass the gate no. Mentioned was gate no. 23 e. I reached gate no. 23 e well before time around 1550 and the scheduled departure was at 1650. After reaching where i was told that gate no. Has changed to gate no. 15. Which was totally the other end. The announcement was also being made for same. And the departure schedule also showed gate no. 15. I went all the way back to gate no. 15. I reached there waited for some time till 1615. But i could not see any boarding taking place so i asked the security person. He told me the gate no. Has again changed to gate no. 23 e. I'm 6 months pregnant. I had to rush back all the way back to gate no. 23 e. They should understand and make the right decision because it's feasible for everyone to rush as per there whims and fancies. Specially pregnant ladies like me and people with medical condition, it causes lot of inconvenience. Kindly look into the matter Was this information helpful?
