Air India — Missed connecting flight due to Air India

Itenary:
Mumbai to Delhi - Air India AI888
Delhi to Kuala Lumpur - AirAsiaX D7183
Kuala Lumpur to Perth - AirAsiaX D7234

My initial flight to Delhi from Mumbai by Air India was delayed by 1.5 hours due to which I missed my connecting flight. I was denied boarding.

Since I had a work assignment, I had to immediately book another flight from another carrier for a very high price and travel.

Had Air India flight AI888 been running on time, this would had never happened. I am seeking a refund from Air India.
