Air India — non receipt of payment of cancelled flight

Hi,

My flight from mangalore to mumbai was delayed and as a result of which i called the air india call center to reschedule my connecting flight from mumbai to aurangabad.

After a lot of arguments, they where finally ready to cancel my ticket (Only one sector, thats what was told to me). I was told that i would receive the money back as the delay in the flight was not my mistake. Its been more than a week and i have not received any confirmation mail nor is my money credited.

I want to let you know the extreme conditions we had to face due to the last minute flight delays and last minute communications. The least i could expect is my money to be credited.

E ticket no: 098-[protected], 098-[protected]

Looking forward to the credit and confirmation mail at the earliest.

Regards,

Suvidha ratish

Suvidha Ratish:

Is impossible to check the complaint objectively as the author had not shown:
- e-ticket with PNR
- each baording pass
So, ther is no any document confirming that you paid for the flight, attempted to use Air india service and you submitted the complaint.

Your words with the references to talk to anonymous are useless legally.

The author is advised to address the complaint with exact request
with the reference on the exact transaction for compensation
to the air carrier in writen or in person.

The duty air carrier, if th epssenger faced with the rerouting / cancellation anyhow, is to issue the decision on compensatio within 15 days following the receipt of the legally correct complaint, if in India.

In 15-21 days, if no refund received, the only solution is to start a civil case in a local court only.
You need to save as prove:
- the e-ticket or receipt, which you own from air carrier, which prove the passenger name, route
- each boarding pass
- ech PNR
- your complaint
- decision / electronic reply which you had received by email to your name, which related to the luck of the services / compensation.

The expected expences for legal civil matter can be:
- government fees [ from 200 or from 2000 ruppes depending upon court] + own efforts,
- legal fees for assistance of a lawyer or of legal professional [ from !~5000 rupees] + own efforts

The fair court shall award all reasonable losses, moral compensation, paid fees by judgement.

I am not associated with the above air carrier / government.
