Air India — not getting my refund from air india or a date when it will be issued | |
Dear sir/madam, I have reached out airindia customer service and ecommerce, both either not responding or not answering my question on when they issue the refund instead giving a caned answer. Below is the email that has all the details. Dear sir/madam, Thanks for the response. Also, it is clear from your response you didn’t read my email thoroughly, this is very disappointing. So, this time i am repeating/reiterating to give more emphasize to what i am saying, to really see if you are able to read the email fully and open the attachments to see the details that i have provided what you are looking for and also see my pain and anxiety. Please read this email thoroughly to understand the request, please do not do the following in your response – which will hint that you are just giving automated response, without understanding your value customer issue. 1. Do not deflect the email queries to air india [protected]@airindia.in or ecommerce ecommerce [protected]@airindia.in, as each one of you owe a response to this email 2. Provide estimate time for refund, do not provide generic reply that due to covid it is taking time for processing the refund 3. Do not deflect saying, i need to call the customer service center, as i called 3-4 times and they are asking to contact you and the wait is terrible. We purchased 1 business class ticket, through 2 transactions a) and b) 1. Purchased 1 economy ticket from web portal - booking reference jf7ec - attaching the pdf file of eticket itinerary / receipt – requesting refund amount o[censored]sd 651.40 2. Upgraded the economy ticket to business class with help of agent from air india call center e-ticket number:[protected] and exchange ticket:[protected] – attaching the email of itinerary receipt - requesting refund of additional collected amount of inr 116800 As per our conversation with air india call center agent, 1. The transaction a) that was done through the portal should be refunded by the [protected]@airindia.in – @[protected]@airindia.in, please let me know when you can process the refund. 2. The transaction b) that was done through the air india call center should be refunded by the [protected]@airindia.in - @[protected]@airindia.in, please let me know when you can process the refund. Also, please note we have existing case id: 02783911 and also there is a acknowledgement from air india in email on aug 1st (Attaching that email as well), that full refund will be processed. We have been following up on this matter for last 4 months and the amount is huge. Please kindly help in this matter by providing a date on when this refund will be processed.
