Air India — Reassignment of seats without consent

I am travelling from SFO to BLR (flight no. 176) with my family on March 17, 2023. I booked my tickets in November and selected the seats (33 a, b, c) in accordance with air india's instructions. Today, on March 10th, i randomly checked my ticket and saw that my seats were reassigned from 33 a, b, c (window seats) to 33 d, e, f (middle seats). I never consented for the reassignment. Air India didn't even send an email informing me of the reassignment. I booked window seats for a reason. I paid full price for my tickets, what gives air india the authority to reassign my seats without my consent? I want my originally allocated seats. I called their call center and they were unable to help me with this.
