I am Jeya Shanker C K, Father of Aakash C J. Booked flight ticket from Toronto to New Delhi through Makemytrip. Booking ID : NN[protected] booked on 15 11 2020. Initially due to the present COVID situation, Makemy trip has informed in their notification that AIR INDIA will process cancellation ticket within 3 months and refund credited to Account. But now it is found that in their notification "Refund of Rs. 53279/= is under process and it will be credited between 4th Jan and 3rd April 2021. Whether the amount will be credited back by big organisation like AIR INDIA, which even after 3 months have not processed. Makemy trip also inform that No Telephonic/e mail followup is required. Air India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint. Apr 06, 2021 Updated by jeyashanker Earlier on the MakeMyTrip website, it was mentioned that the refund amount will be credited between 4th Jan and 3rd April 2021. Today it is 06 04 2021, still, the amount is not credited. Today's status in MakeMyTrip shows that still, AIR INDIA is processing a refund ( already five months over) and the MakeMyTrip message informs no email/telephone calls. What for we have to book with MakeMyTrip when their customer service is very poor. Why does AIR INDIA behave like this to customers? Whether they are digging their own graves. One costly lesson learnt. Do not book air tickets in AIR INDIA and through the website like MakeMyTrip. Only God knows when I will get my hard-earned money. I hope this MakeMyTrip personnel and AIR INDIA personnel connive, squeeze and drink customer money for their own comfort. May 26, 2021 Updated by jeyashanker The issue of refund is not yet resolved and pending. Further where to lodge complaint as my elder son also expired due to covid 19. Whether I will be alive & satisfied that AIRINDIA has processed and credited refund of my eligible refund amount
