We booked the tickets from the Air India website on 13 April 2022.
At the time of booking the infant (Riya Sharma) was added as a child by mistake. I immediately called the Air India customer care executive. He canceled the ticket for the child Riya Sharma[protected] and the customer care executive added the infant from the backend.
However, he did not issue the ticket number for the infant.
He asked me to go to the airport counter directly on the travel date and pay 56 Euros at the counter and get the ticket number issued for the infant.
However, when we reached the airport on the travel date, that is 13 August the Air India executive refused to issue the ticket for the infant and he asked me to rebook the ticket for Manisha Marwah and Riya Sharma separatöy.
We had to pay additional 1238 Euros on the day of travel from Germany to India. We had to pay twice for the same journey. First, we made the payment of 771 Euros for our flight ticket from Germany to India at the Air India website, and then on the day of travel due to confusion among the staff of Air India at Frankfurt airport we had to pay additional 1238 Euros at the airport counter to be able to travel to India.
The Air India team has not processed the refund for my ticket.
