Air India — seat change without prior notice

Me and my husband are travelling from hyd to jfk. At connecting flight at delhi my seat has been changed at boarding gate. The reason told was we are of different pnr numbers. We explained to him that we selected specific seats while booking online and we were given boarding pass with same seats in hyd whilr check in. Despite our explanation he changed my seat from 23b to 20b and he was very rude amd kept saying that some family had booked with same pnr so they changed them. My pnr num is[protected] and my husbands is[protected]
