I travelled with family from Mumbai to Delhi and Delhi to USA on Jan 15th 2021. In the checked in baggage apparently one bag had something which could not pass the security which I was been informed only at last moment when birding the flight and than they told me there isn’t enough time and I have to leave the bag and they will send it to my final destination. In the world of mobile phones why they couldn’t call me upon finding something non compliant? Why they had to inform me only at the time of boarding? Anyway we left the bag arrived Delhi and filed a report. I was been told that on 1st available flight bag will be sent to my home in USA.
It now 5 days and have made more than 30 calls to various numbers and sent numerous emails with no success to fina exact location of bag. Delhi office keeps on telling saying bag has been sent to USA via EWR airport to IAH via United. United tells me they have not recd bag. There is no response from EWR AI phones. Main number and email doesn’t work and other numbers no one picks up.
It’s nightmare as the bag contains some valuables which I cannot afford to lose emotionally.
I wonder why Tara’s bought such pathetic and unfriendly airline which is disaster and cannot be rebuild unless it’s completely dismantled!
