Unpleasant Business class travel on AI157, on 16th June 2023 from New Delhi to Copenhagen

Please let me narrate the truly unpleasant and painful experience on this flight on Business Class.

The flight was already 4.5 hours delayed. I was to deliver a lecture at 8.00am on the 17th June at the International Peripheral nerve Society meeting for which I was travelling to attend. I wanted to have some sleep, but just could not. From 6.30 pm till9.00pm this ruckus went on and on. This family caused so much pain for us. The mother was continuously calling out the child's name (Aina) and running around the Business class area with the child. The father was seated in the economy class and kept on coming repeatedly to the business class and the family was creating so much of ruckus. In fact I was ready to go to the economy class and have some peaceful sleep, but the crew did not allow.

There was a lady with a ?2year old notorious daughter who was continuously yelling and running around searching for her father who was travelling in the economy class. The mother made no attempt to stop the baby who was creating so much of a nuisance as her father was seated in the economy class.

The Flight crew made no attempt to advise the lady to calm down her child and instead became part of the nuisance in talking to the mother and kid.

Point. 1. Whether this baby had a business class ticket, I am not sure and whether kids are allowed to travel for free in Business class just because seats were vacant, if they have no ticket for this age.

Point 2. After a while the father from the economy class came to the Business class and sat with the wife and child and started playing with this child. Oh my God such uncivilized behaviour of this famlly.

This was unacceptable and this whole drama went on for almost 3 hours.

At this point I requested the chief crew a lady to please intervene and after her advise the father left the Business class section and took the child away.

Then again after a few hours the child came back and the nuisance began..

Why does AIR INDIA permit Economy class passengers to enter and sit in the Business class for such reasons and occupy empty seats.

This is a sick practice by your Flight Crew causing undue inconvenience to fellow passengers. Other fellow passengers were also so infuriated and started changing their sates.

We were already cursing that the flight was delayed and that I would be reaching Copenhagen in the midnight rather than when it was bright light.

So So disastrous was this decision of mine to travel by AIR INDIA.

Kindly take up his matter as a serious complaint against the crew members and I would definitely need an explanation
