Air India — Unsuitable and risk prone wheelchair assistance

Address:New Delhi, Delhi

I am a war casualty Army offr with spinal injury complete wheel chair bound. I travelled on 19 Apr Indian Airlines flight 9I 609 Ekt[protected]C2 from Del to Dehradun. Provided wheel chair could not enter smaller Aircraft and shifting became an issue. Further at Dehradun bigger chair was brought and with great difficulty I was brought down from narrow steps of Aircraft. Request ensure provision of small approachable chair at Dehradun and also Aero lift or Ambulift or suitable Ramp. Train your staff according to such requirements. Also luggage staff at Delhi was very bad as they dumped and threw luggage into Aircraft which damaged my trolley tyre. Ensure sufficient checks.
