Air India — VBM Ticket cancellation refund pending for 6 months

I had called and cancelled the my mother's International E-ticket from Delhi to New York round trip- Flight#- AI 101, Date- 17th Jul'20.by calling Air India on 7/9. I also did a follow up call on 7/10. I was told not to worry and that 100% amount will be refunded.
On 20th Oct Air India confirmed on email that refund of tickets has been initiated and to allow 3-4 weeks to get the amount credited to the cardholders account.
But until now the amount is not refunded to me. I request to solve the complaint on emergency basis. I am very much dissatisfied with the customer service. The customer care does not have an answer and advise case is in progress. Ecommerce team is not replying after multiple reminders.
It is $ 1054.37 refund amount which is a big amount of hard earned money stuck with no reply.
Please help and refund the amount soon.
