Air India — Wheelchair service denied

I Dr. Aurobindo Behera along with my aunt aged 65 having severe health problems from Chandigarh to Vijayawada via Delhi. While checking in I had clearly mentioned the need for wheelchair assistance. She availed the service at Chandigarh airport but at Delhi we were denied service.

She was mentally harassed by forcing to wait for over 30 minutes even though 4 to 5 wheelchair assistance provider were available at the location siting ideal. The verbally abused us by saying "what do you think we go just if you say, we will go at our will. If you are not able to wait you may walk. Even after insisting many time rudely replied that " we will go only after 12 mid night/ as per rule you will not be allowed beyond domestic transfer/ we will only leave you at domestic transfer and many other arguments.

Only after intervention of a kind security personnel they assisted. But continued to use foul language and misleading us, even though I was guiding him to terminal 30 A.
