Air India — Wrong information provided

I am on work visa and was planning to travel as my leaves got finished, so I called the air india airlines as only they are taking travelers to Dubai during this pandemic. So they said that as I have Emirates ID and work visa, I can travel to Dubai if I get a entry permit approval from DGCA, so I did that and fortunately got the approval and then I booked my ticket from Indore to Dubai. And on the day of travel at the indore airport, they issued me boarding pass till delhi and said that international boarding pass will be provided at Delhi airport, So I thought if I would not be allowed to travel Dubai then my ticket will be a waste, so I called the airlines customer service to confirm about my travel and I said everything and provided every document I had and they u r eligible to travel Dubai and there will be no issue…U can board the flight from indore without any doubt. So I did that but at Delhi airport they refused to give me boarding pass and said that I am not allowed to travel to Dubai…So I went to the airlines supervisor and complained about everything, he said that u can’t go ahead, so for a proof I called the customer service in front of him and asked the same thing which I asked before booking the ticket and they said yes u can travel…then the supervisor said that they are proceeding wrong information, we are sorry, it blew my mind…My whole ticket got wasted and rather giving me any refund they just said reschedule the ticket and I have to pay the rescheduling fees….waste of money..and I have to book my return ticket to indore which was another waste..if they would have provided me the right information then I would not have travelled from indore itself. So I want my refund.
