Aircel India — Threatening calls from aircel team

I had requested aircel to cancel my postpaid connection in first week October. The aircel custoemr care person had not given me an ID at that point. He said that call back will be happening in 2 days. I had paid all my bills due and request them to against the five or six days I need to be charged from my deposit and refund me the remaining amount. My plan was dongle 699 plan. I stopped using the aircel connection before requesting cancellation. So for 5-6 days it would have come less than Rs300 which was the deposit amount. There was no communication from aircel for a week, I tried to contact customer care but calls were getting repeatedly forwarded to persons who could not help me. After one week I was asked to get to the nearest aircel store. I was busy at that time and said that it would not be possible for me to do so. I could do that only after a month. Aircel couldnt help me to resolve the issue and apparently they dint place it on hold either. I received lots of calls from aircel asking me to pay bill and I explained to every person patiently my issue (about 100 people). Meanwhile they sent me bills for every month adding the monthly amount and a late fee. Now the amount reached 1844. I received sms from them saying legal action will be taken and tried to contact the person in charge. He took the call today morning (after about 10 tries earlier) and said he can check only after half an hour. He neither called me back nor responded to my calls post that. I received a call from [protected] number telling me they were from delhi consumer court and will take a complaint if I dont pay my bill within half an hour. They asked me to contact [protected], a lawyer named Jaswant Rana, who also claimed to be from the consumer court. They terrorised me saying that I will be jailed and fined Rs. 25000 for fraud if I dont pay my bill in half hour. I tried to reach the customer care and the contacts i was given from aircel. The customer care routed me everywhere and the contact person was not reachable as usual. If perhaps I had not been sick already I would have acted more wisely, however, I was already unwell and repeatedly badgered and threatened, so was forced to pay the amount to aircel. I assume aircel extorts postpaid customers like me (who wish to cancel their number) as much as possible before finishing with them. I request the real officials to take immediate action and prosecute these fraudulent people who pose as officials of the consumer forum and extort people. This caused me a half a day leave at work along with the most dreadful spate of threatening calls I received in my life. I later discovered later today that aircel has done this earlier. This kind of behaviour is pure uncouth and I will never again take any aircel connection if this is how aircel wants to treat a long time customer. I have been aircel's customer for more than 3 years inspite of its 3g connection being totally awful, and this is what they do, charge you wrongfully, dont take your request, force you to pay fraudulent claims and to top it all harass and even threaten you.

P.S. I am a respectable software engineer and has paid all former aircel charges before this time (nearly 3 years that will be a min of Rs 30000 put together).

No response from aircel yet
Response from aircel after 15 days is that my amount is due and I need to pay. I am still being billed and charged for an account I requested cancellation, they have not even placed it under temporary suspension.
