[Resolved] Aircel — provider is not generating port code (upc) | |||
I am trying to generate the upc unique port code from my aircel mobile number. I have sent the message port to 1900 almost 4-5 times in past 5 days and even tried contacting the customer service numerous time but everything is in vain. They are simply not generating my upc. Verified Support Feb 12, 2018 Aircel Customer Care's response Dear Shubham, We request you to generate UPC code by sending SMS as PORT Mobile number to 1900 (Charges as applicable by the current operator) and visit new service provider store along with 1 Photo, Identity proof, Address proof & Last bill payment receipt of your current postpaid connection so that we can register your port in request. I received the PORT code on 23rd FEB which can be used till 21st Feb. I can't believe their shady practices for not letting user PORT their number.

Thanks for the response but if you see the attached screenshot I have already tried to get UPC code 4-5 times in past few days but I never received it.
We would like to inform you that the format in which you are trying to send Port message is incorrect. We would request you to follow the below-mentioned format to get UPC code.
PORT-Single Space-Mobile number to 1900 i.e. PORT XXXXXXXXXX
