Aircosta — Refund amount is not received for the cancelled flight

We booked our ticket on Feb 15th with Arcosta to travel from Chennai to Bangaluru to attend a function with 89 year old father.Aircosta sent a simple SMS stating flight cancelled.As it is important to attend the function with my 89 year old father aircosta did not arrange alternate flight and put us into great trouble.
