I have recharged my prepaid number by ₹299 on airtel company offer of giving 84 days unlimited talktime but company has stoped the service in 4 days. And on talking with customer care they are not ready to give that service and saying that they are not even afraid supreme court even if you fill a case. Customer care talks very rudly to their customers

    Very very bad data service showing h+ and the speed gets not even of 2g. First time with airtel and very bad experience but the voice seems to be fine.

    I think in order to compete with other telecom companies and just to be in the market airtel provides good plans but the data services is a complete waste no use had to use wifi instead of mobile data to surf internet.

    I think airtel needs to understand that with good plans quality is very important. I'm not sure if the issue with the data will resolve or not.

    The company hasn't provided any steps till now but they have marked as this is resolved. Very Good customer services you guys are providing. will the email id be public or only to airtel rep? I have already provided the info here for registering use that to contact me. Which description are you referring? And it's very unprofessional to mark as resolved without any resolution.

      I am using Airtel postpaid from since last 4years and recently from last 5months till date no complaints were solved by airtel regarding network issue in my virar maharashtra (401305) area.
      many time i called customer care of airtel but they are pleasing that there is a work going on ...i dont know from last 5months they are working on which tower...still they are sloving the network issue in my area,
      i request not to buy airtel sim in my city virar, rest you may purchase and even i my going to port my service provider ...

        Dear sir,
        I have visited airtel office near jalahalli cross, bangalore-57 for porting my mobile number to airtel because of low signal problem. But the person in their office refused to port the number unless i am ready to pay a total of rs.520/- for 3 months data pack. I need only talk time pack not data, but he was not ready to port the number for anything less than rs.520/-. Now i am going to any other providers which has better signal in my house. Why airtel allowed their employees to exploit the poor customers like this? Is it really legal?

          I have an open service request on Network issues[protected] with Airtel for over a month now since the day I ported the number to them. The matter is with Appellete Authority which just a call center with people who are just "order receivers" and don't have any authority, problem solving capability or customer service attitude (they don't respond to email or call back). They claim to be the "highest authority you can reach to". Talking to a senior person is not an option, even talking to a supervisor is a challenge because they are never there on the floor when you call them.

          On Airtel website it is mentioned Mr. Navin Pathak ([protected]) as the head of NCR Apellete Authority. I tried calling the number and it goes to the call center. The email id is generic and goes to the their back office / call center. I don't understand why they have a put a name if no one can reach him. Just complying to TRAI requirement may be but they don't mean to be helpful. Basically you are throttled at a low level clerk in the call center by design. Welcome to the corruption in Private Companies in India.

          The solution provided to me is that they need to setup a Tower to improve reception without any timelines, which will take at least 4 to 6 months as per my understanding. There are many interim / temporary solution available but they don't seem to be interested to provide one.

          I can't port the number for 90 days and I have to wait for 90 days to escalate to TRAI. Knowing these Airtel is taking advantage of my situation.

          I am really sad to see the level of customer service in our country. I am posting this with a hope that others should know about these issues and set their expectations appropriately.

          The response time to emails is 7 days. I got reply to my 2nd Nov email on 9th. After repeated calling I managed to get a call back from one Mr. Sunny Sherra called me last week and assured me on the call that

          a) he will get back to me with a short term resolution by 13th Nov and
          b) arrange a call with Mr. Pathak who as per Airtel website is the head of Appellete Authority for Delhi NCR region.

          Then he sent me a generic email without any solution and most importantly by omitting the assurances he made on the call. Please find the note from him and my reply.

          I am still waiting for the call and resolution.

          It is 18 days and counting to get a reply from Airtel. I have sent 3 reminder emails and 2 calls but no response.

          Can anyone please let me know how to reach out to Mr. Naveen Pathak, who heads the Appellete authority for my region?

            One of the worst ever service i have seen.

            Customer service people are not just employees. They should train well enough to handle and admire the customers.

            Airtel nevertheless you will loose your businesss if customer care and service department are not upto the mark + Attitude.

            @First - Throw away Koramangala outlet people.. fit for nothing. They made me to run for 2 days to port the number and atleast it didnt happen...

                My sim has been duplicated and used by someone else which is been as roaming when called, when am using this sim from past 9 years, on 6th November 2017, my sim stopped working and when I checked with customer care supervisor, they informed me that its been duplicated on 6th November at 12.25 pm, and when I tried to call that number which I was using, someone replied from West Bengal, can you guys tell me how one can duplicate the same without owners permission or biometric verifications, is this what Airtel providing security for customers number ??is Airtel not trustworthy to use, this is what a customer expects after 9 yrs of Airtel service ? Can you please take necessary action on this...

                Never expected this from a India, s largest Service provider, don't just bluff customers by giving fake advertisements, if you are really concerned about the customer, try to solve this issue such that it may not happen to other customers

                  I had paid rs.1520/- at captioned office on 18/10/2017.
                  Through cash deposit, for which i have a confirmation slip.
                  I had inserted 3 rs.500 notes and 1 rs.20 notes, though the bill was
                  For rs.1512.74 only.
                  Even after paying on 18th octrober, i’m stil receiving calls to pay
                  The bill.
                  I visited your office in fort on 1st november, there i was informed
                  That the payment has gone to airtel money. It will be solved in 24 hrs.

                  Not only the problem is not yet solved but outgoing calls were stopped
                  On 4th november and the outgoing calls were stopped on 5th november.

                  I have also received new bill of rs.2198.85. I am being inconvenienced a lot.
                  I want to close my airtel connection.

                    What a worst network airtel. I called customer care support for resolv my low speeds of network 4g is automatically converted into 2g and speed was very worst. I can't able to use. Each and every time i put aeroplane mode for connecting 4g data. But still my issue was not resolved. I request to connect high official but my cal was disconnected. Everyone telling different settings for connecting data. Everyone says ur problem resolved in 30 minutes but not resolved.. What a worst # network this airtel

                      Since yesterday, 7th nov 2017, my outgoing calls are getting stopped abruptly for few hours and again it is getting resumed. This has happened today as well i. E. 8th nov 2017. The reason is non-payment but my connection is prepaid and i have sufficient balance in my account with validity. Infact my internet is also working properly.

                      This is really ridiculous. Please see to this matter because this is this is hampering smooth working.

                      Kolkata customer care informed that this is a temporary issue for roaming customers. I don't know when will it be resolved.

                        From past 2 weeks its raining heavily in chennai and the network coverage, data etc was too slow. Why this is happening now as well. I have paid 179 rs for the data pack and i am not able to use the data properly as there is no proper network. Please assist on this. I am based on omr.

                          Recently i had ported in my teeno sim into airtel and then upgraded it from 3g to 4g. Nd recharged it with rs. 449 in order to have unlimited local and std calls and 1 gb data per day. But now any of those plan are not active. I can't make any call local or std. Nd even i am unable to reach any of your customer care. Your portal for speaking any executive officer is worst. Please do something that can be helpful to me.

                                  I submitted the submitted the application for porting and reliance to airtel and request for the number on 31/11/2017 i received a message same day your application is on processed 31/11/2017 and after that received the massage from airtel 04/11/2017 at the time of 04:44 your service have been set. Please restart your handset. So money times i have done the process (Restart) but so far my sim not activated.

                                  And the same day 04/11/2017 to till i contacted the near airtel store punjab 3 b2 mohali and customer care all contacts but sim is not working and they told every time wait and wait.

                                  Please resolve the issue as it is very important to have this number activated for me.

                                    Same issue happening with me even when am in cug plan.. I have sent all the detail to airtel team through mail id since 3 months i have been following up with my issue. Still issue is the same and when finally i got rid and decide to port, when i just sent a port msg, the relationship officer calls me and speaks. When i log issue that am facing no guy reverts as fast as relationship officer.. They wont be compensating any amount inspite they say that its charged as u used..
                                    I have attached some screenshots in that u can see how 4g challenge video is buffering and later it say retry. And horrible situation is that calls wont get connected & incoming also... Cant call error makes me like so angry... This network challenge as the best network in india. They wont be saying the tenure that when the problems get resolved.
                                    Airtel should challenge in reality of their network in live... Will they be???

                                      My name is shahbaz husain. I am a student, i am having some fake calls from theevs to stole my money from bank...

                                      Actually i created airtel payment bank's account by app yesterday, my account got block than i email to the customer services and post my concern to a complaint website (Which is doubtful) with my contact details, in order to re open my account. Today at 7:37 am. I got a call from [protected] he said "i am calling from airtel payments bank, i got your account is block, please varify your debit card number and expiry date so that we will further proceed it" i said -"sorry i cannot do the same because of security purposes", actually now i got to know that they were fake. 2 may be 3 times he insisted to provide information, while getting that he started abusing me. I said i will complaint to the cyber cell and all, he said "ukhad lo jo ukhadna hai un ch*yo se kuch nhi hota". And they ended up with me. After few minutes i received another call from [protected]. He was also from the same community and again ask my secure details like debit card number and all.. I said i know where are you from... And i have received another call before your call, he said ok give me that previous mobile number. I said no i have already complaint in cyber cell and i am going to do the same with you.. He started abusing me again and ended up with me.

                                        I purchased a "one day" international roaming pack for usa from airtel which allows for unlimited incoming calls and 50 mb data. It seemed ideal since it ensures connectivity as soon as we land there. But, there is no mention on when this one day pack gets activated. It turns out that the pack i purchased got activated (And deactivated) before i could even land there. There was no mention of this by sms or other means. The customer service - when i could finally reach them after hours of trying and punching through multiple options -
                                        Has been the most unhelpful and useless in this regard, not even able to tell me if the "one day" starts in the indian or us time zone. They simply keep parroting the 'it is for one day only sir' line.

                                        I request a refund of the amount i paid (Rs 649).
