Starts 17th oct

1. - ordered a postpaid airtel sim online and was asked to contact - 7624973* and after speaking to the lady informed the sim will be delivered by tomorrow and there will be someone who will be visiting my office address to collect the documents (Aadhar card and a thumb print) sounds simple isn't it?

2. - the delivery guy came to the address i had messaged on the above mentioned number and takes out the thumb print machine and asks for my aadhar card. I took time off my busy schedule and sat with him thinking it will take maximum of 5 min. (That's how everything is done nowadays i assumed). Then the guy says the machine is not working and i will have to do it manually. Great! No problem (I smiled) and filled up the form and told him that the passport photo will be sent via mail and did the same. The guy said that the number will be activated within 24hrs.

(24hrs? Did we just go back to 2000's in your broken thumb print machine?) but still i was ok with it.

3. - the number did not activate. I tried calling the person who was at the address for the docs. He disconnected the call and never called back. Then i thought it might take sometime maybe i'll just wait.
4. (Still not activated) - so i decided to drop in a mail regarding the issue with ref - ref[protected] and then airtel replies asking for a number for them to contact me. To which i replied i do not want a call because the network i'm currently using does not have a good connectivity (But the number was activated on the spot which took not more then 10 mins) and they will not be able to call me instead i asked them to resolve via mail "then no one replied"

4. - the person comes for the verification (Really? Airtel still follows primitive process for activation) but still i promptly responded and signed a paper and gave my office id card number and he informed the number will be activated by evening (21st evening) which did not happen. Again!!! And was just another lie with colorful ribbons of hope on it.

5.- then i decided to call the sales team and asked them to look into it for few days they waved me off saying that the number will be activated within 24hrs "which did not happen even after 72hrs" and then the dialogue was "it will be activated within 2hrs" which failed to happen again.

6.- then i sent a mail asking them to cancel the activation process as it was too slow and too old. To which none replied. Somehow i got in touch with the customer support for postpaid new connection and spoke to them they informed the address verification never happened @airtel who was the second guy who told me he had come for the address verification on 21st oct?

7- 26/10/2017 another guy comes in for the re verification at my office address which airtel claims not to be the right address when the address is still on the official website of the company. And takes my photo and aadhar card number again and informs that the number will be activated by evening. Which was another hope filled lie with ribbons on it.

8. - spoke to the manager of postpaid customer service on 27/10/2017 and as per the manager the number is not activated because the address is not correct then who the was that guy who came in twice and took my aadhar card number and my photo on the address which was earlier given to him??

9. The manager now wants me to walk up to a airtel outlet and have the documents submitted. If i had that kind of free time then i would have walked up to an outlet instead for ordering it online.

10. Then when i told the manager that i will be taking this to social media the manager was casual enough to reply "no issue"

@airtel - please reply to the following few points first.

1. What is the maximum time taken for a postpaid connection to activate? (Took this connecting for my work and 99.9% of my official work is over my number and because airtel messed up everything is now down the drain. How can you make up to the time i wasted?

2. When the fe can come to the address meet me and take the photo of me and my aadhar card then why does everyone else says the address is not right fyi the address is on the official page of the company.

3. I was lied multiple times saying the number will be activated within 24hrs and 2hrs since past one week. How can you make up to these lies?

    I have 2:sim card on my phone both are of airtel 4g 3g on 4g hand set i have recharged on 3g till 13 nov 17and till 18.12.17 for my 4g ang i should get 1gb data daily for both the sim. Airtel is often not providing 1gb data some time both my sim are not given the data. I want to report about this. Pl guide me as to what to do where to complaint. Regards gkk

      few minutes back i have linked one of my airtel mobile number [protected] to aadhar.as per govt norms it is free service, but at kota rajasthan, airtel retail shop at vigyan nagar take charges of Rs 20/ for each linking.
      that is cheating done by urs retail shop.

        I had a airtel mobile number of delhi, but my aadhar card was o[censored]ttar pradesh, so airtel operator asked to port the number from airtel delhi to airtel up, which i did.. Its been 5 days since then. I received an sms yesterday that once the signal of old sim is gone, insert new sim and dial 59059 from it for tele verefication.. But everytime i call 59059, it turns out to be a marketing call for caller tunes and all.. Its been over 13 hours i have inserted my new sim and no televerification call is received.

        However, my new sim are having good signal, but i am not able to make any call, nor recharge my number.
        Need urgent help.!

        I had a Airtel mobile number of Delhi, but my Aadhar card was o[censored]ttar Pradesh, so airtel operator asked to port the number from Airtel Delhi to Airtel UP, which i did. .I was asked to port my number in order to link my aadhar card with Mobile number, since it was told that we cannot link Airtel mobile number of Delhi with aadhar card o[censored]P. .its been 5 days since then. .           I am holding 5 airtel post paid connections and lodged complaints to airtel toll free saying that at my residence am not getting the good coverage. With their primary trouble shooting changed the sim and mobiles but still issue persists. The guys for name sake saying some illogical answers and closing the case. The area i mentioned is a very prime location in hyderabad. With the latest reply i got from one of the executive is they had resolved the issue and i will see the day by day improvements. Are they talking anything about patient getting treatment in icu to see day by day improvement. They are considering me as a foolish fellow who will hear all the non sensible illogical wordings

            Sir i have a sim of airtel no [protected] post paid and i convert this sim to prepaid.
            Today 28/10/2017 my post paid sim has been closed and other new sim is not active. I approached to customer care many time they not responding in this regard. Kindly help me in this problem because my sim number is important all facilities is connect with this number.
            Please solve this problem earliest.

              I just now called 198 to know the status of my roaming package that is still active or not but your executive was not providing proper information n said that it is expired this is for the second time your executives from gujarat circle they r not talking n behaving properly with the customers last time i also complaint against this behaviour ur team leader on floor said we got trained like this only we talk to customers in this manner only they r just pathetic in providing information n behaviour m having other postpaid cards from mumbai n whenever i call from tht numbers i get a proper assistance your gujarat circle executives behave like they are talking to some friends or maybe they are not interested to talk to us or solve our problems i request you to please take some action against this behaviour.

                  I raised a request to change my numbwr from airtel postpaid to airtel prepaid. my sim got activated since then i am unable to recharge my number via paytm or phone pe. It is declining the recharge. could you please look into this issue on priority.

                    My airtel sim card is of patna (Bihar). I upgraded my sim in bengaluru. The retailer gave me the new upgrade sim and did all the procedures. I also got a confirmation message. Sim number is also perfectly matched. After some time my old 3g sim got disconnected. But the new 4g sim is not activated. Please airtel help me resolve this issue. It is my very urgent phone number. My number is [protected] and the new sim number is[protected]u (Written on the pack). Please activate it as soon as possible.

                      I cant acsess 3g and 4g after recharge 399 pack, i always called customer service but not get solve my problem, they always say we will working for solve and also they cant give me complain number so how can i track, and not return my money and now block my number its not connect with customer care, im a poverty background student i arrenge the money 399 with very difficulty to learn something from internet but they people are fraud me, who will be take action for this kind of criminality, so bed network, they doing foolish indian people like me so i hope sir you have to take dession to bend there service in my location, and bring good happy life to our location people thank you so much. I also try to be take as much as possible action to aducate people like this froudelity.

                        I ordered an iphone 7 + 128gb on the 20/oct/2017, airtel did charge me 26, 000 inr on the same day, they promised that it will be delivered by 28th oct 2017, someone calls me on the 27th oct 2017 and says that the mobile is out of stock and will have to wait till 10th or 15th nov to get the phone, they also gave another option to cancel the order and the return payment will be done within 10 business days (Are you kidding me). I do not want to cancel the order i want the phone within the stipulated time.
                        They can charge consumers right away, not a small amount, but to return if i cancel will take 10 business days.

                            No incoming calls and 4g internet services not available on my airtel mobile number for 5 days continuously. On calling the customer airtel service desk, no proper response. Issue started on 23rd oct and i was told that issue will be fixed by 27th 5pm ist. After 5 pm ist on 27th oct, the customer rep (Claimed to be the highest level of escalation, his name is manikandan - people should make note of it) said it will take another 72 hours. Incurred huge loss due to this attitude of the service provider. Still i've no clue what has gone wrong. Unacceptable!!

                              I have airtel mobile connection no. [protected] (ncr region) since a long time. My sim is working since 7 or 8 days. No outgoing/incoming calls and sms also not working. I am residing at mohan nagar (ghaziabad). I went to nearest airtel store at rajendra nagar, sector-5 sahibabad (ghaziabad) to get it reactivate. But store operators couldn't activate it.

                              Then new sim (on same number) was issued to me on 25.10.2017, at the cost of rs.25/- which was paid by me. I was told that it would be activated after 4 hours. After 4 hours i tried to get it activate. But i got a message "mobile network not avilable" on the screen. The i talked to customer care centre at [protected] through my second mobile sim. I was told that it has been reactivated again and it would work after 4 hours. But after 4 hours also the condition was same.

                              Today i.E., on 27.10.2017, i went to airtel sotre again for the same work. I was again issued second sim and i was told that it would be activated after 4 hours, but after 4-5 hours the condition is same and my airtel mobile is not working showing the msg "mobile network is not available".

                              You are advertising that your network is fastest network of the country. But how you can say like this as mobile sim can not be activated in 7 days also.

                              Sir, please help me and activate my sim at the earliest because i am in big trouble and tension. I am a senior citizen and having hipertension.

                              Please do the needful.

                                Dear sir

                                I claimed my handset for accidental damage on 24/10/17. On 25/10/17 i got a call from one assist they asked for a declaration mail from registered mail id (Because phone number is registered on my sister, s name), my sister sent declaration mail to one assist with all details which were asked. But now airtel verification representative is saying that we are closing your claim because phone number is not on your name. Using phone number on any family members id is a general thing. My number is a postpaid number which i am using since many years.
                                Who is paying bill airtel never asked, who is using number airtel never asked, who take phone insurance airtel never asked, but when time came to having the benefit of policy which i took and paying premium, it became a issue for not claiming the handset. I speaked with one assist customer care representative, they have no issue in this condition and are ready to claim.
                                Please look into this matter and do the needful.

                                  I had taken airtel fixed line wi-fi connection ph. No.[protected] about 7 months back. Your company was laying under ground cable for wi-fi connection just under my main gate. I had also allowed your people to install junction box on my boundary wall which people normally don't do. I was assusered of excellent connectivity, high speed internet connection and best customer care service. For couple of months i was really satisfied with the quality of wi-fi service but for the last two months i am sorry to say that i find that airtel service is not only bad but it's hopeless. For last 17 days i have made atleast 20 complaints. I have talked and told my problem to mr. Verma mobile number [protected] and mr. Sandeep mobile number [protected] and was assured each time that it would be set right within 24hrs.. All the calls to both the numbers have been recorded with their knowledge i have also forwarded screen shots of the display on my mobile screen informing that my connection has been disconnected.in all i have mailed 19 photos including videos of the modem to mr. Sandeep on his above mentioned mobile number. I have also informed both the gentlemen that i will be constrained to take the matter to consumer court for harassment, mental torture and above all deficiency in service. My husband is 71yrs old and a heart patient and i am myself 66yrs old and suffer from back problem. I thought it proper to first bring this to your notice. Under the circumstances i request your goodself to kindly issue necassary direction to the person cocerned to set right the problem within 72hrs.                                     We have taken a portal from vodafone for our company cug a month back and had associated with airtel but network coverage in our factory is very very poor. We have been keep on complaining about this discrepancy and till this time we have the same problem. We expect to close this issue within a day or two otherwise we are forced to take a decision for not solving network issues. This seems to be very tough but you have not satisfied the customer.

                                      Airtel has consecutively produced an error in my bill for the 8th time. I have repeatedly told them that there is an error and they assured that next time onwards this error will never occur but again the same mistake from this inefficient company.

                                      They have said that the closed user group in the postpaid family plan will be entirely free but since they are of the fact that the end user will not be checking the bill so they have failed to produce any discount on that and thereby increasing my bill amount and not for the first nor second nor third!!! But 8th time...

                                        I don't know when i activated this service which swallowing my money once in two days. I tried to deactivate by calling customer care and all the way but they are not deactivating this service it is really a robbery of innocent peoples money and government should take serious action on this telecommunication networks. Please deactivate the above service on my number i am fed up with the financial burden.
