I have ported my number [protected] from vodafone to airtel. But there is no signal in that sim and my old number has stopped already. I called customer care 6 times this morning and no satisfactory response was provided. Finally that was escalated to hema and she told that number is already active and asked me to contact the airtel store. I visited the store and the guy checked the status and told that the service is in pending status. The manager of customer care was just bluffing and make us fools.

And now i end up with no mobile which i was using for last 10 years. Is this the way to receive a customer? Could you please check and take action accordingly.

    Dear sir/madam,

    I had taken the aforesaid prepaid connection sometime in march/april, 2017. I had bought this connection through website advertisement and your representative came and delivered the modem at my house. I was always given to understand that it was a prepaid connection. Number of the representative who visited me is [protected].

    He gave me 4 months advance plan and was told that thereafter i need to recharge again. Since, there was no connectivity and the speed of the internet was really poor, i took a decision not to recharge the connection and your modem is now lying in my basement as junk.

    Suddenly, on 24.09.2017, i was shocked to a receive from the airtel alleging that i need to pay the bill of about rs.[protected].

    I am shocked at the conduct of airtel. How can the prepaid connection be convert to post paid connection on its own without my consent?

    How can airtel on its own an without my consent choose a plan for me.

    I escalated all these issues vide telephonic complaint. I had at the same time, under protest, raised cancellation request. On sunday, i was assured by your representative that the will shoot me a mail admitting the mistake of airtel and that i ll get a waiver of rs. 1000 odd rupees if i continue to use the connection. I protested and made myself clear that i dont want to continue with the connection as there is no connectivity. He suggested me that i should continue with the connection with following conditions:

    A) accept waiver of rs. 1000 odd

    B) i need not pay the balance amount till your representative visits me and check and resolve the connectivity issue and in case it is not resolved, i need not pay.

    The way this issue has been mishandled is writ large. Till date, i have not received a sms or email from airtel acknowledging my complaint. It was only today that i insisted that complaint no. Be given to me.

    Every day, i am getting calls from your representative, where they admit their mistake, however, i am being harassed as everytime i have to explain what the problem is. Today, i. E. 28.09.2017 also i got a call from one mr. Gautam asking me as to why i want to disconnect my connection. I was shocked as to how could he plead ignorance. It was only when i insisted that he should check the records 1st and then call me again, that he admitted that he knows what the issue is. He also admitted airtel's mistake and tenedered apology. He also offered waiver of rs. 1700 and insisted that i should continue with the connection. I protested and made myself clear that i dont want to continue with the connection as there is no connectivity. Since, i was being harrased continously and my precious time was being wasted, under protest, i chose to accept waiver of rs. 1700 and pay the balance amount to lay the matter to rest.

    However, mr. Gautam insisted that i should contiue with the connection to which i refused. He gave me a shock, when he told me that in that case, he will not give me a waiver of rs. 1700. He also told me that i need to raise a billing dispute as complaint lodged by me only pertains to disconenction request. I believe airtel is most dishonest to its customers. On sunday, i had raised a complaint for bill as well as requested for disconnection (Please hear the conversation between me and your representative).

    I believe that airtel is trying to extort money from me. Firstly, wrong bill was raised, thereafter, airtel offered waiver of rs. 1000/1700 ass airtel isdoing any favour to me.

    Please note that i dont want to be associated with your company anymore. My connection be disconnected immediately. You are grossly deficient in rendering services besides adopting unethical and malpractices to unjustly and unlawfully enrich yourself.

      This is regarding mobile number [protected] being used in an iphone 5. I have never been able to send messages from the 1st day i got the sim. The 'my number' in setting shows unknown; the *#5005*7672# call shows 'setting interrogation failed'; i cannot set a new sms message center #. By the way, i can receive messages

      Called the 121 at least 4 times - they either are clueless ("executives" are a useless bunch) or promise to fix withing 2 days (Someone was going to get back to me 15 days back - they never did). All that happens is a charge for the 121 call (I pay for airtel's poor service and their 'executives').

      Should be an easy fix for a technical person with knowledge at airtel.

        I was postpaid customer for many years, and since i had to come to mexico for 6 months, i changed it to pre paid so that i can at least start getting otp messages for bank transactions.

        There was no need for me to do any international call or messages. As this airtel number is important to me as its registered in all important places, i decided to retain this number.

        But now i see its disconnected without any notification. Not sure why such careless service from airtel?
        When my friend visited store they are asking all my documents and not only that, they want me to come in person to resume services, how this possible?

        Please suggest way out here. I need my services back and activate my number asap.

        Airtel adds SMS services I never asked for and inflates the bill unnecessarily. This has been going on for the past two months. Last month I complained about this to Airtel and they adjusted the bill, but this time they have done it again.
        We have 3 sim of airtel in my family and none o[censored]s are getting UPC code while sending aport message to 1900. We are mentally tortured by this. Someboday please take an action on airtel.
        Hi no data was added to my account even after doing the recharge thrice and the amount was deducted.
        I link my aadhar card and convert sim in 4G.your retailer I charge me Rs25.

            Am very much upset with the service and response from the airtel team.
            My no activated on 21st sep'17 for airtel postpaid plan 399.00
            It which i have been informed for the benefit of around 31gb internet, but since the sim activated it is showing 1gb data for my plan.
            I have also escalated the same with airtel team, and toll free no, but till date i didnt get any supportive actions and resolutions.

            Even there is huge problem of network in my residence area (Pin - 411017) am just not able to connect the call also.. Even the is no any internet connectivity.. I have to use reliance jio for making calls and for internet use.

            Now my request is to close my no in airtel.. I would request to my earlier operator for start and continuing the mobile service.
            I just dont want to be continued with such poor service operator.

              I have done recharge of data plan of rs.399 having unlimited talk time 1gb/day for 70 days from airtel franchisee shop on my mob no. [protected] on 26/09/2017 but given only per day with one month validity upto 23/09/2017. Whereas i should get validity of 70 days upto 06/12/2017. I contacted shop but he could not sorted out this. Hence, airtel may be directed to increase data validity i. E. Upto 06/12/2017.

                My mobile and sim is 4G enabled but I am not able to use 4G services on my device. Settings have been put to 4G recommended but I can only connect to H, no 4G signal is shown. I have called customer care 5 times in last 5 days, everyone they ask for either 4 hours or 48 hours.

                  Dear airtel,

                  I would like to say that you quality of service is completely gone down. You are harassing mentally daily from last 25 days.

                  Details: i had recharged for airtel infinity pack on jan 2017 and it was for a year i. E till jan 2018.in september it is been disconnected and my account is in suspended mode from last 25 days. I call daily to your costumer care to tell and resolve the same. Daily they agree that it is a mistake from airtel side and will be resolved in 24 hrs. Its been 25 days no one is bothered to resolve it.

                  How should we watch tv now? My account is in suspended mode. And airtel is not able to do anything.. I have tried all possible ways to make you ppl understand this but you ppl just wanna make money and you dont give a damn about what issues customers face.
                  Tired of talking to you guys daily, such a shameless network it has been.

                  Regretting taking your connection and that too infinity pack.

                      I have received my bill for the mobile number *72 (Rupees 238.82) and *81

                      My mobile number *81 and *72 plan is my plan corp cap 199 cug 0 na which includes 700 mins (Local+std+ national roaming, mob and fl),
                      Cug to cug free and 750 mb+10gb free data of mobile data.

                      I have used only 670 mins out of 700 mins in my plan for voice and 100 mins of cug.
                      I have used only around 500 mb of data out of the allotted 10.75 gb.

                      I have been additionally charged 30.4rs for *72 and 1.6rs for *81 for the month of july.

                      I want your billing team to check and revert back the charges and provide me the correct bill amount.

                      It is really frustrating that i need to raise the concern each and every time.

                      This is the fourth time i'm raising the issue and this issue is continuing from month of april 2017.

                      The current complainte ticket ref53354444 is open past two months

                      I have registered multiple issue with complaint numbers 78127288, 78126122, 76612145, 75901204 [protected], [protected]. And have called 121, 198 and [protected] which is of no use.

                      Dont close the complaint without fixing the issue.

                      Please look into this issue and fix it at the earliest and permanently.
                      I'm registering a consumer complaint and if this issue is not fixed permanently i will port out immediately.

                            Even after airtel relationship manager and floor manager of customer care promised airtel will fix this issue but issue remains

                            Extremely shameless airtel, airtel has failed to provide a working sim. Its more than 9 days now. Have called airtel guys many times now but airtel guys are saying that do whatever you can, we will not fix your issue and keep billing you. Gunda raj.

                              On 9th september i lodged a complaint regarding the dis functioning of my digital tv with complaint id 65280437. An engineer came after repeated calls and at last my problem was solved.

                              But few days after repair, i faced the same problem on my airtel dth. I am unable to view the channels and getting the error code b001. So day before yesterday again i lodged a complaint and according to the telephonic conversation with customer care an engineer was supposed to visit my place yesterday. But nobody came. I got a call from the engineer in the evening that he will visit my place only if i am willing to pay him some extra money. I denied to pay him and he refused to come. Today also i got 2 sms regarding visit of two engineers called shabir khan and md shabdin. One of them called me but didn't came.

                              This has become a harassment for me calling customer care every now and then for resolution of a simple problem. All these has made me think why i have made the mistake by taking airtel dth connection.

                                I have made the payment of my dues of july to august period (241rs) on 06th of september using paytm for which i have received the reference number also. Operator reference number [protected], which is a proof that airtel have received payment. But it is still showing pending in my account.
                                I tried contacting airtel executives but they are not resolving this issue. My outgoing has been suspended for non payment of dues. If they will not resolve this issue how can i make the payment for the remaining dues. I have contacted paytm which have clearly replied the problem is with airtel and i should check with airtel only. As operator reference number is given by the operator (Airtel) as a a proof of receipt of payment.

                                  Airtel dth starts topup and deduct topup charges without permission of consumer. Recently they charged two topup without my permission and deducted rupees 60/ and rupees1.30 per day from 9th august till today from my account balance, what come into my knowledge. After calling customer care they have added rs.60/ to my account on 24th september. Today i again called them for my 2nd topup but the denied to add the balance till 24th october. They asked me to call again on 24th october for the same.

                                    Description: today i issued a port sms to port out from airtel to 1900. Airtel blocked the message by sending "could not send, try again" and deducted rs.1. Just when i started thinking it as my system's fault, i received a sms from them saying "airtel values your association.in order to serve you better, our executive will call you shortly to know more about the reason you want to port out of airtel no 9748596xxx"

                                    This is a clear malpractice and a customer can not be retained like this. Btw, none called from them till now because they know the reason for such port request better than me.

                                        Since saturday night (23rd sept 2017) 4g internet on my phone is not working, i raised a complaint on sunday 24th sept (Reference #[protected] stating the issue will be resolved in 2 days.
                                        Called customer care on 26th sept in the night around 8 pm and the person on the phone informed the that he is escalating and the issue will be resolved in 24hrs and provided reference # [protected].
                                        Today (Wednesday 27th sept) 8pm called the customer care again as the issue was not fixed. I was transferred to a supervisor and he informed that the call was never escalated on 26th and he is going to escalate it and the issue will be resolved in 24hrs
                                        I am tired of spending time with these folks on call to get this fixed, not sure if i want to continue with them after staying for more than 8 years. Use 4g for my official emails on phone and i have been handicapped for the last 4days...
