    I was approached by airtel's marketing (Kolkata) team offering me a alcatel mw40cj, a 4g wi-fi device under postpaid scheme, the offer was to pay 999+taxes per month for 3gb/day + 12gb extra. I had to give away my mts mblaze device as well as pay another 1200+ to the sales executive that visited me.

    All was well until the 12gb was exhausted. For the past 8-9 days the speed gets reset to 2g @ midnight, ie 00:00hrs, and it doesnt get back to normal until 6am or so. I have complained 5 times by calling 198 and registering the complain. Each time they promise me that i will be getting a complaint number via email and sms, but i don't get any.

    Today the speed was reset to 2g much before midnight, even though i had not even used the full 3gb for the day. When i called up customer care to complain about the same, an executive by the name of partho hira (Bengali) received my complaint and without asking anything said that i have taken the complain and it will be rectified asap, i requested him for the complaint number, he said you will get it via sms (The same excuse each time), when i insisted that this has been happening for more than a week and i need a complaint number or else i will have to approach the consumer forum, the same executive, partho hira spoke in a rude manner and said go and file a complain, i asked him if this is the way you are supposed to talk to your customers, he misbehaved with me and when i asked him if i could talk to a supervisor, he denied and said that you can call again and find someone else to complain to.

    Firstly, i have suffered for over a week due to this problem, and now your customer care executives, instead of helping me out, are misbehaving and acting rogue, is this the standard that the company has come down to?

    I have been a loyal customer for over a decade now, but if this is the customer "care" that i am going to get, then i would be forced to move to a carrier which would at least train its customer service reps to respect its customers.

    Hence, i would like to lodge an official complaint in the name of mr partho hira, for his misconduct/misbehavior and unwillingness to provide me with a complaint number, as it turns out, he did not even register my complain, which i found out once i called back again, and the call connected to another representative.

    Next i would like you to either resolve the issue with my connection which throttles the speed to 2g every midnight and takes 6 hours or more to get back to 4g. Moreover, i am unable to check my data usage for the past 3 days, it shows "error. Unable to load information".

    If these issues cannot be addressed, i would request you to refund my money and return the device that was taken by your marketing team so that i can get my internet connectivity back to normal, without the daily issues and the harassment that follows, thanks to the misconduct of your employees.

    Thanks a lot for your response, but the problem just keeps getting worse day by day,

    Latest UPDATE: Now I am not even getting the 3GB per day from this Cycle, which begun from 11th of July 2017. All the data is being deducted from my 12GB monthly data and 3GB per day is not getting added to it as it used to during the first cycle. I checked the usage post midnight, and even now, the 3GB additional per day has definitely not been added to my account.

    Moreover, I have not received any correspondence from Airtel in this regard, nor have I received any SMS/Email regarding the numerous complaints that I had lodged earlier.

    I did not receive any calls/missed calls from anyone recently, My alternate contact details have been provided via the website. Anyway, I am currently available on two numbers, the phone is dual sim, hence if I am on call on one number, you won't be able to reach me on the other number.

    Feel free to call me any time after 3pm. I would also like to point out that Usage history section of My Account in Airtel shows no data. According to the customer service specialist, I should be able to see my daily usage in that section, but it is totally blank on my end. I have tried using it on Chrome as well as Microsoft Edge.

        The network problem in this area is worst. It is impossible for me to even call anybody without intervention. And the data flow varies so much, i mean to even complain this i had to shift my location upto 500 mtrs and it took me around an hour to do write it. YOU can now assume the intensity of worstness in the network.
        I could never use my data pack fully, never, not even half of it.
        Plz resolve this problem as soon as possible.
        People of jharkhand are humans too and we also know some technology. Airtel claims to have the fastest 4G, i think if the problem is not resolved I could be forced to go to court. Having said that I still trust this network so plz kindly, i revere you to fix this problem.

          Hi i am from nagpur, , , , just moved from new delhi for some personal reason from last few days regularly facing some problems with airtel network such as ... call drop / no internet / nothing here each and every day had word with airtel customer care they dont even answer the call if they answer they only reply that " issue will be resolved in 4 hours " but never ever gets resolved ... went to airtel store written complaint there as well but they says cant do anything ... 4 g haha what a joke from airtel on name 4g it runs same as 2g airtel making indians and government fool ... government not taking any action ... POOR SERVICE

            I had opted for a higher plan (Rs. 649) with more bundled 4g data from Rs. 499 plan on my Airtel mobile No. [protected] on 02/07/2017. However, even though my account shows availability of more than 20 gb of 4g data, Airtel has suspended my data, as soon as I opted for the new plan.

            On repeated enquiries, no concrete reason was given. I had warned that I am travelling on work and I'd lose business without data. There was some excuse made saying that my base plan is not compatible with the additional benefit of 10 gb that was provided, and that's why my data might be suspended. A promise was made that a request has been taken down and mu issue would be resolved within 4 hours. I have been calling Airtel almost every day since the last one week, though today I was made aware that they had not even bothered to raise a complaint on my account. It was only today when I insisted that I be taken on record that I may pursue legal action (without prejudice) that a request (ref. No.[protected] has finally been raised in the system.

            Meanwhile I am being charged for a higher plan while Airtel is providing NIL service. Airtel is cheating me and stealing from me.

            And not only that, as Airtel has failed in its obligation to provide the service I am paying for, it has affected my work and has caused me emotional distress. The customer care is apathetic and non-responsive. Despite numerous complaints by me, Airtel did not take my compliant into account till I stated my intention of legal action.

            Considering the aforesaid, I expect Airtel to resolve my issue ASAP, and also redressal for the trauma and loss already caused to me.

            Airtel customer care called me to "resolve" this query. The phone number ([protected], +[protected] didnot look like the usual Airtel customer care numbers. The customer care executive asked me to give him my credit card details/Bank account details. He didnot explain to me why such information was necessary. I suspect the caller might have been a scammer. When I asked them to just charge any charges to my account or send me a link on my email if any payment needs to be done, he refused.

            Is it an official requirement to provide bank account details or is it a scan? The executive then went ahead and said since I am not providing him my bank account details he is rejecting my complaint. Is it legit?

              59059 not working for activating sim

              I've ported my no.[protected] from bsnl to airtel and i've also inserted new sim but verification call to 59059 is not connecting. every time i try to call at 59059 it automatically disconnects and also i'm unable to receive incoming calls to my number, along with this there's poor network signals in our locality. I couldn't believe how airtel is so weak in customer service....

                I had given a disconnection request on June 17th 2017 (Req no:[protected], but my airtel connection was not disconnected. Instead i was charged INR 1, 124.00 which i have paid. I have now raised another request (Req No:[protected]. I need this connection disconnected along with the refund of INR 1, 124.00.

                From the time i had given the disconnection request, 3 representatives from Airtel called asking me not to disconnect and every time i asked them to go ahead with the disconnection process

                  My name is N.Vijaya Bhaskar reddy.
                  My airtel postpaid number is [protected].
                  I recently had a call from an airtel customer care sharing some information about my bill of rupees 2, 190/-, saying that i[censored] pay the bill now we'll reduce the amount by 500 rupees on total bill orelse your connection would be lost.
                  Then, i immediately paid rupees 1, 000/- and got my suspension released. Again after two days the airtel people(the other lady) called me saying that rupees 300/- only will be reduced and you need to pay the remaining due within 8th july 2017.
                  So, now my balance due is rupees 1, 190.
                  Now, i moved to my near airtel express and paid rupees 890/- as they said that rupees 300/-will be reduced. There the lady said that they'll provide my connection back within 4 hours of my payment. And now, its been 24hours since i paid my balance, but there is no activation of my airtel postpaid number [protected].
                  Now, i'm here with a query whether when will my number get activated?

                      This is with reference to my four requests raised.

                      Details:
                      1) Why can you guys close the requests without letting the customer know about the status?
                      2) Network team makes fraud by closing the requests stating customer refused to allow us for visit and customer is not even aware of the same.
                      3) Person who has to pay visit for survey doesn't call you or will give you a short missed call and you get a message from a number stating you are not reachable and request will be closed, the pain point is that you can't even call back to that number. This is actually fraud in name of laziness by your employees.
                      4) If the surveyor comes, he will not register his survey report as company is in fault and network is not at all up to the mark. But your open network info shows good network which you are misleading the customer.

                      Details:
                      Four requests have been raised as mentioned and no action till date.
                      When I raised the same for porting, you feared employees call and ask for a reason and then say that we will address your issue. You culture and customer satisfaction level is poor and is looting the people in name of open network and 4G.

                      You can't provide 2G networks and you claim for 4G. It sucks. I hope some action should be taken or else I will take to TRAI what fraud are you guys doing in the name of open network.

                      Don't go to Jungles to provide the network at least work here & provide at home first or shut down your good for nothing telecom company.

                        Dears,
                        I have received a rediculous bill amount of 3.44 lach for the month of June 2017 for number [protected], I called the service number and they claimed it is because internet usage while on roaming of 4 GB on June 22 only.

                        I find this impossible for the following reasons:

                        1) I have asked to not activate roaming service at all for this line.

                        2) I have a preset credit limit of 7300 INR

                        3) there was no data usage on 22 June as it was the day of arrival abroad and the SIM card was removed on 23 june..

                        This is quite not acceptable and appreciate your urgent and fast response to resolve the confusion by clearing the bill.

                          Hi,

                          I am using Airtel since last 10 years. This is one of the worst experience and I am finding my self help less after so many complaints and calls to Airtel.

                          My Issue is:
                          I was using My Airtel App (registered with mobile no [protected]) for recharging mobile number [protected] on 28th June by amount Rs. 349. On first attempt I got message that recharge got failed and hence I tried it second time with same amount.
                          Later I found that my balance got deducted twice.
                          I am not getting any help from you guys for refund. Can you guys take a look into this issue.

                          I am not going to leave my money due to your technical issue in your Airtel APP whether I have to go to consumer forum. Airtel is making me realized that it is no more good/ helpful for its customers.

                          I hope there is a way to resolve my problem. You guys are treating like I am calling to another planet and no body understand my language and problem.

                              I was using airtel broadband services (Relationship no [protected]) since long and was paying bills before due date. I was shifting to a new place and raised request on 21st June 17 (SR[protected] for shifting of connection 2 home away from my current residence. Airtel's executive reached on 23rd June and after roaming here and there for 30 minutes he left. I got a message that your sr 83984806 has been closed i.e my connection has been shifted to new address. So, i finally decided to discontinue with Airtel so i called Customer care on 23rd June 17 & told Mohd Fayaz to disconnect my connection.

                              To my surprise i got a bill on 9th July 17 for the whole month (5th June till 4th July) with additional 300 rs as shifting charges which was not done. From 21st June 17 till 9th July 17 shifting has not been done and i was not able to use the broadband & fixedline services and Airtel is sending me bill for the whole month and they do not even disconnecting or adjusting the charges and forcing me to pay the bill.

                              I was looking to continue but now decided to take services of other companies who do not make people fool.

                                  Customer service was really damn horrible...i tired to call customer service for more than 3numbers but no one responsible for my problem...my internet was not working since 3days.so i tired to query customer service but they were irresponsible...i have got evidence too...i was using airtel sim for more than 1year thinking that your sim is best but today your services and internet service i was damn betrayed...if briefly i would say i[censored] can't fix it by tomarrow i would never regret to say i wil never use it again n wil never recommend my friends ro use...

                                    I made a transaction on Amazon.in via Airtel payment bank on 29th June 2017.
                                    But due to any reason I cancelled my order with amazon.
                                    After that Amazon processed refund amount to original mode of payment (Airtel payment bank)
                                    Now the nightmare begins with me.
                                    I contacted Airtel money customer care no (400) and also written several mails to their official email id, [CASE ID:533622] Refund for my transaction with amazon.in I'd but every time Airtel told me to wait for 24 hrs for processing refund amount in my Airtel payment bank account.

                                    Now almost 8 days passed but still I have not got my refund amount.
                                    I think that after loosing their telecom business, Airtel started looting their customers by unfair means like not giving refund etc.
                                    I am very much disappointed with Airtel care and advising all online users to beware from Airtel payment bank because they have no solution for customers.

                                    but no solution was provided by Airtel.
                                    After this only I mentioned my issue here.
                                    But after your comments now it is clear that Airtel has no solution for my case.

                                      Today i.e. on 08.07.2017 I have recharged Rs.702 in wrong customer ID . In my TV screen I have read my ID [protected] instead of correct ID [protected] but registered mobile no. had been recorded properly which is [protected]. I do not understand when ID and Mobile No. not matched then how the next step of processing the payment can continued.

                                      May be it's company policy but it should not be justified.

                                      I am requesting here for refunding the amount of Rs.702 in my bank account and or may adjust in next months.
