I have deposited the subcription money Rs. 3040/- for one year on 09.05.2010. We went to our native place Fatehpur for summer vacation. After returning from there on 29.06.2010 when we switched on the TV & receiver, got the message that our subcription has expired.
It was shocking because we had deposited the money for year. When called the customer care, we got the information that our money has exhausted because o[censored]sing excess paid movies & etc. After enquiry we found that somebody changed our registered mobile no. & enjoyed.
I have question from Airtel, how they can changed our registered mobile no. without verification??? What is the company policy?? Who is the responsible for this??

Airtel — offer did not change but money consumed.

these is hema lakshmi. iam using these mobile from 2 years.i asked to change my offer rate plane.but they did not change it, again i called costumer service center they we do it . but they also did not do that change. now icallto costumer service center they did give att least good responsealso.

so iam giving these complaint plz change my offer now itself. or i will changeto another net work.
these is my last request.

    I have taken Air Tel digital TV connection in the month of july 2009.

    -Now I am facing problem due to Air tel set up box not running properly from last two- three month . in this regards I also launched the complaint in the month of april -may and problem was remove after 15 days again the set up box is not working & camplained launched by phone on their customer care no- [protected] on dated 4/7/2010 ,6/7/2010 & 7/7/2040 wide complained no-3213152 , 3235016 & 3240033 but till now problem is not resolve.

    this shows negelancy or bad after sales service.
    pl. take this matter seriously and remove it .

      This is regarding A/C No 15553255 Broadband connectivity at Greater Noida. The Internet hasnt been working since april 2010. After Repeated followups with your customer care.. the internet was still not working.

      I can see regular follow up for bills ( last three months) for the services that were never working. If this is the kind of service.

      I would request you to terminate all the services as i am not at all satisfied with what is going ..

      Broadband — printer not deliver after 100 days over

      i have taken wire less connection in march before installation ur excutive told that u will get printer within 60 days but 100 days over printer not deliver after several times of complaints. wat can i do now?

      - When the TV works the Internet stops working.
      - When Internet works TV stops working.
      - When a call comes on the landline then both TV & Internet flash out !!
      - This happens every weekend
      - Technicians come and give different reasons
      - They have failed to resolve the issue for more than 3 weeks now

      Airtel/Broadband net — net not working last one month

      i have net connction and 6 months rent advance payment plan ....Now last one month i have shifted my office to plasia place but still there is not start the net ...i was lots of followup mail and phone but there is no result...i hvae buy new DATA card my work has not held . Kindly arrange to compenset for one month rent and my work suffer due to net was not working...so ther also companset for my losses and other buy DATA CARD...

      NO one replay by airtel even mail nor phone...

      Airtel Broadband Services — Not giving facility which was told when giving me this plane by executive

      sir,
      i mohit from panipat complaining that when i went to airtel office for new connection of broad band then your sales executive told me that plan of 799 give me 512 kbps speed all the time.
      There is no boundation of speed after 8gb.At that time time i told him that in 499rs plan speed is 1mbps till 4 gb.after that it will 256kbps.as i have also this plan at my another home.whose number is 4007277.
      then he told me that there is no such type of condition.So i agreed for plan 799rs.Now speed of broad band is decrease to 256.which was no told me as i mention.So please take a prior action against my compliant.

        How many o[censored]s are using Airtel Broadband ??

        Dam..One of my friend applied for Airtel broadband and received a call from Airtel representative that they regret to inform but due to technical feasibility they are not able to provide broadband services to him..and guess what ??

        He's my neighbor and living next to me..and I'm using Airtel broadband!! lol (Next door friend..dam)

        I tried to explain the customer care executives that I'm using Airtel bb and provided my number details..address and then provided my friend address and asked them : How'z this possible..and the response was : Due to technical feasibility your friend area is not covered...??

        WTF?? My poor friend lost all the hopes to get a broadband Any other alternatives (except customer care) to explain and educate the Airtel bb agents to install bb services??

        I don't want him to go for Tikona as they are the worst, Tata is costly (am using Wimax too) and no MTNL/SIFY!!

        I just got a call from somebody in Airtel, asking if they could come and collect my landline instrument, even though I had submitted it on 31/7/2010 !!! ??? I am now asked to pay 400-odd Rupees even though I have not been using the landline for the last 4 months at least!!! And this, inspite of the fact that I had received the following email on 14th Aug from Nodal.Southabts:-

        Thank you for writing to us at Airtel Telemedia Services.

        We acknowledge the receipt of your mail dated August 12th, 2010.

        Further to the below mail, this is to inform you that your complaint has been
        forwarded to the email id. "[protected]@airtel.in" for the further

        This is the same way that they do decide to treat. The billing department has been worse i thought but the collection department without the bill details want the payment and do decide to hang up without any sense. This is the worse tele caller i have ever dealt with and she has the guts to hang up when speaking.

        I am never going to Airtel for this pathetic service.
        Need Airtel broadband services


        I have exact same issue as the gentlemen above stated regarding the feasibility in our area Sector-15 Rohini, Delhi 110085. its been almost like 3 years i am trying to get Airtel BB but its still not feasible ? 15-20 yards from my home is feasible... its rubbish..

            I am Avishek and I have brought one World Calling Card of Airtel while coming to Kulallumpur from Kolkata, India. I am using Digi sim card here. I was told that i could make calls to India with this card after dialing the access number and the card code. But the access number([protected]) itself given for Digi sim is does not work. Most of the time it says invalid number, sometimes when it gets through its been told that access to this number is not allowed outside united states!! I bought this card for 500rs and I was planning to buy more. But I am extremely disappointed with this. Please reply if you are reading this....

              I have applied for "Do not disturb" on June 19th 2009. But I used to get regular promotional messages. I use to call customer car efor the support but nothing help me out. In Jan-Feb 2010, I contact nodal officers and appetite officers of airtel. They ask me for my support about sending list of promoters with the details like date, time, subject etc. I sent them list of promoters at regular intervals. This problem got solved in June 2010. Now a days I started getting promotional messages from some new promoters. What can be done for that. I contact them again, they told that we will look in to the matter but still no reply from their side.

                I had purchased Airtel DTH on 4th July, 2009 (Customer ID- [protected]) .
                My set top box stopped working properly from 1 July 2010. I had approached the dealer stationed at Roorkee for its maintenance. But I could not get any help for many days. Since the warranty period limit was approaching near, I was extremely frustrated. I later called customer care service center on 5 July, 2010. But still I could not get any help. I again called on service center on 6th July.The problem is still not solved. One person had called me and informed me that I will have to pay Rs 500/- for replacement of DTH set top box and Rs 300/- for transfer. The Airtel DTH was installed by an airtel dealer. I feel cheated at this moment of time for none of my faults.
                Either Airtel should remove their dealers or they should take all of their jobs to their hands.
                Kindly replace or repair the Set Top Box as per warranty period specifications.
                Being a genuine and responsible consumer, I request you to solve my problem at the earliest.

                  I am using airtel [protected] for last 10 yrs. I do my bill payments online. I wanted receipts for last 3 months. I was not able to find these in my airtel a/c at www.airtel.in and my registered e-mail a/c since airtel have not sent me the receipts through mail. I went to the Customer relationship centre at Opera house, mumbai. There I met one girl named Sana, who was very immature and irresponsible. Not only she told me she can't give any receipts for online payment, she has no idea what people do in online payments. Later when I told her even if there is no ready made format for such receipts, at least if she can provide me some proof that I have really paid up the bills. After that she started talking to somebody on the phone and was asking about my issue. I guess the other person gave some instructions to her. Then, she told me "log on with your email id and you can see the status of payment". I was so shocked that such person can work at customer relationship centres. I have wasted so much time with this girl and at last I cam to know she is so immatured. And what is log on with your email id? Does she mean check your email or check ay airtel.in Not wasting my time further with her, I came back and writing this complaint thinking some responsible person from airtel can read this and take action.

                    i have activated Airtel GPRS monthly package of Rs.98 on my mobile phone on 06/07/2010 through customer care they told me that they doesn't have SMS setting for activation & also not having settings for latest handsets i have to do Manual setting at Mobile phone so might be it not done well and not activated i have made 15 calls to customer care they told me they will arrange back call from technical person and till date & time i didn't get any Response from them

                      This is very fustrating that;last 15 days i am following you guys for Airtel digital settop box installation and activation.Still only installation is done and nobody seems accountable for service activation;what is the use of only installation.
                      So requesting to please remove my installation and give my money;else I will put up this case tomorrow to consumer court.
                      Airtel fault is how they redirected my installation request on their site to Vriti infocom;whose service is worst and infact they are fraud.

                      AirTel — No Activation after payment of money

                      I have a Airtel post paid mobile connection in Bangalore, India.
                      They disconnected outgoing facility, when the bill exceeded the credit limit. Even after paying the money, the connection was not restored and the call center people say that they are not able to get the status due to system maintenance. This happened for 3 days continuously.

                      They were swift to disconnect it, but lethargic to reconnect the same, after payment of money. They promised that it will be done in 4 hours, but even after 36 hours after paying the money, nothing happens.
                      All hollow claims of customer service and customer satisfaction!!

                      i had purchased a airtel digital tv connection during diwali with 5 months free subscription. from 27th november the channels for the same have been discontinued by them. Even after lodging numerous complaints they are saying we will do it & they give next day's time.When they want money for the subscription they discontinue our services then what should a consumer do when after paying money we don't get services. I had never expected Airtel to stoop so low.
                      We have applied for the PRI linens in Noida Sec 63. After making the payments and reciving lots of false commitments now we came to knw that there are no lines in this sector. Its a complete fraud. Please Help.

                      I got non conformity openion about Airtel Digital TV Perks offered on my account . Before placing the order , I have clearly confirmed about channels that are being offered. But after installation on 11/08/2010 , and activation the channels which o prefferred in devotionals not got activated despite being no of follow ups. My Customer ID : [protected]. I have opted for GOD TV to my account. But as of now no response and customer care executives irritating me. I wan disconnect and go for Local cable operator where i get all channels for 150rs.

                      Airtel DTH Pune — Paid amount but no installation

                      Hi,
                      I requested for new connection from customer care, and also paid the amout through mobile banking by credit card (IVR).My transation id is 14727278. At that time customer care executive told me, I will get the customer id and installation within 48 hours. Now its more than 3 days, but yet neither I received any SMS from installation department nor any phone. And also there is no direct contact point to talk to installation department. I calles customer care executive more than 10 time. Each time every executive telling that " we are forwarding your request to installation department they will contact you in one to two hours". But its not going to happen. No one will call. And all customer executive are dumb. I dont know on which basis they got job there. They dont have any sense to understand the customer problem.

                      I, Sh. Uma Kanta Saha purchased one Airtel digital TV STB and accessories on 31/07/2011 at Mohanbari, Assam. Same not activated so far.

                      BASED ON AITEL CAMPAIGN OG RS 250 OFF, I PAIG RS 6400/- TO VRITI INFOCOM ON 28TH OF AUG , THEY PROMISED ME TO INSTALL CONNECTION ON 29TH IF I PAY BT CASH WHICH I PAID , TILL NOW NO ONE HAS CONACTED ME , WHEN I CONTACTED THE GIVEN NUMBER NO ONE IS GIVING ANY CONCRETE ANSWERE ABOUT INSALLATION. I DO NOT KNOW NOW HOW TO CONTACT THEM AND RECOVER MY MONEY.

                      AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — No Activation After Installation

                      I bought airtel digitalTV connection on 3rd July 2012. The Set Top Box was installed in my house on 7th July 2012 but the channels are not yet activated. When I booked the airtel digitalTV connection I was told that I will be getting a one month package free but the package is not yet activated. When I called the customer care today morning to ask them the procedure for cancellation of the device they told me that there is no cancellation department and I have to mail to their email id [protected]@airtel.in.com I have not yet received any relplies from them. I have been calling the airteldigitalTV customer care and the dealer, who installed the set top box in my house, from saturday afternoon. The only reply I get from them is that it will be activated in 2 hours. More than 42 hours have passed but the connection is not yet activated.

                          I have an Airtel Postpaid mobile number : [protected] active from the last 6 years or so. I have been getting continous SPAM SMS from the last 2-3 years or so. I have registered in the Do not call registry as well, but that does not solve the problem. I have complained often to the customer care with the numbers from which i get the SPAM sms, but that does not seem to work at all. I get SPAM messages from a different numbers. Kindly look into the issue and help resolve at the earliest. Thanks

                          I have made repeated complaints at the DND website with details of each and every sms that i've received, but the sms still seem to grow in number. i have not received a single acknowledgement for any of the complaints that i have made. I would like to know if anything is being done at all for the complaints. thanks

Everything was well until Airtel removed Bhakti TV from the channels which disappointed my parents a lot.                             whenever i called customer care, they are telling that to add these channels it is requird to change the dish alignment and the engineer visit your place within 4 hoiurs or within 24 hours.

                              To Airtel deactive collection manager,

                              I have received a letter from airtel (data card plan) to pay my outstanding bill amount. As I was about to leave to abroad, I have asked customer care to deactivate my number before one month of this bill period and I have paid the bill amount for the last month. But I have received the bill for the deactivation period and its abnormal bill when compared with my regular charge of each month which i used before.

                              Now I am being asked to pay bill otherwise it will go to legal action. Do you people are thinking the public is so mad? or you are the people only doing correct and we public cheating you?

                              I dont know how they made this stupid bill. I have been asking you to many times but didnt get any convincing information. They said that its computer generated bills so that we can;t do anything. If computer alone doing all those things then what else you people are doing there? simply sitting and getting salary?

                              My system also shows me that I have never used my data card for such a amount. So find out the problem and send me a proper reply. otherwise, I want to make a legal action with my solicitor.

                                  i singh shamine activated blackberry services on my airtel prepaid ([protected]) on july 1st 2010 and they worked for 12hrs,
                                  Rs899 was deducted from my account .blacckberry services didnt work for two day despite my repeated phone calls to the customer care....the executives kept giving me the info every time i called them,when i asked for a complaint no .so that i can refer to my complaint without explaining it to the custom care executives every time i call them ,but no use..i kept telling my problem to atleast 25 different executives but no use...last when i asked them to refund my money or extend my service for atleast the number of days they didnt work..i requested for a cxall back as i had lost all my balance calling customer care for 4 days ..i was again given a no...its my fifth day without any progress...i"m a student and had to sit for an online exam for which i had paid and got the bb services activated but they wont understand....please
                                  i really feal like taking airtel people to court for this....i am a dentist by profession and had never heard anything more weird then the the cusomer care people telling me at the end "its not just you,many customers are facing this problem"i mean what kind of a consolidation could that be???

                                    I am from ludhiana & I am using Airtel GPRS. I recharged my no. by Rs. 98 on 22-June-2010 for using the GPRS service.
                                    From the very first day i couldn't get sufficient speed, even it is not possible to operate even google & connectivity was also very bad. So I called Airtel technical helpline for assistance, there I was told that my complaint has been registered (complaint no.[protected] & it will be solved before 27 June, 2010.
                                    Then I again called the helpline on 27th june & informed about the matter, Then the executive Mr. Jaspreet told me that my previous complaint was closed due to some reasons & He put new complaint (Complaint no.- [protected]) & said that if it would not solved till 2 july then you get refund for the same. When I called on 2 july I was rudely attended by them & they said that you were using it everyday, no matter what the speed or connectivity is, so you cannot get the refund & do whatever you can.
                                    I was using the service only to check that weather the service was working properly or not that is why in 13 days, I had used hardly 100 MB from 2000 MB which was given in the pack of 30 days. I can show the usage.
                                    Airtel is harassing me by giving bad service & not refunding my money. Please help me.

                                    I was using mobile office gprs wherein i was awarded 100 mb free for 399 bugs monthly but beyond that the scheme says some 10 kb 10 ps or 5 ps something which exceeds beyond the limit and i received a bill of 3500.. My regret is that for prepaid customers they provide unlimited usage with 7 or 15 rs daily den why are post paid customers given this step brotherly treatment...

                                    I'm using Airtel GPRS for the last one year on my PC and now I wanted to use it on my cell. For this purpose I bought a SEGAM E-90 and tried to access Internet but failed. When I contacted the gprs customercare at 12121 on 21/5/2008 at 8.05 pm the person kept me on hold till 8.11 pm and disconnected without any solutions. I called 12121 again at 8.12 pm and the lady attending my call suggested me to contact personally the nearest Airtel Office to solve the problem which is about 50 kms from my place. What is wrong with Airtel GPRS? Why there are these non technical persons in the customercare?

                                    I purchased a new airtel connection prepaid in June 01 particularly for GPRS Mobile internet. recently from fifteen days i am unable to connect to GPRS as normally as my colleagues do. I don't know if it is a problem with sim or network. I had filed 5 complaints against the same in airtel 121, but no response. I had visited airtel outlet number of times but no improvements. They have simply looted my money in the name of monthly rent. when i will browse the response comes as "The servers response timeout.".so please solve my problem as possible as immediate.

                                    The GPRS services has been activated in my mobile on 09.07.09 and before activation of the same, around 4 times I had talked with Airtel customer care executives regarding GPRS billing plan and all the times they had confirmed me that I will have to pay Rs.249/- monthly and I will get unlimited browsing and downloading under this plan. Company may refer the record of the said conversations.

                                    Now, I have received my monthly bill of Rs.3479.75 for the period 11.07.09 to 10.08.09 in which GPRS/ Value added services charge is Rs.2949.40.

                                    I request to the company to check and provide me the correct bill.

                                    I have activated Airtel GPRS (89 Rs Monthly Rental) on 4th Dec 2009 but I am not able to browse internet. it gives error : Remote Party has ended connection
                                    however when I dial 123 6# it shows 100MB in my account and validity till

                                    hi, i had activated GPRS in my sony ericcson w350i and i had installed the settings for mobile office ...actually i wanted to surf the net therefore activating the 98rs plan...but i was shocked to see the speed ..it was nearly 2-3 kilobytes...i had asked my friends but they are also having the same problem...i live in dehradun region and the Airtel signals are good enough here...so i know this problem is not due to any bad signal...this plan is providing 2 GB download but nobody is able to download more than 300-400 MB I guess with this type of speed...hoping you will improve the speed at least till 10-15 kb..

                                    Hello this is my no [protected],in my phone gprs is not connected for more than one day till now it is not connected i called to customer care for more 12 to 13 they not answered me properly respond since now i started my complaining morning 9am now time is1.00am,i spoken to them more than 1.30 hrs when called morning they told it is temporary problem and they told wait for 2 hrs it will be solved if you not got connection call them so i waited for 5 hrs and i called to them again they told wait for 2 hrs you will get connection at 7 o'clock if you not got connection call them and i waited and called them at 8o'clock again again and again they told same answer that is wait for 2hrs like 9.30......1.30 and for calling them we want to wait for 2 to 3min to connecting customer care employees so today i spended more than 3 hrs for this problem i talked with every customer care for 30mins i told them to every one for same complaint and same thing to every one they also told me same worthless answer to me i called to 12138 from morning onwards they are not reasonable answers first one person told call 198 for register complaints,another one told today they not registering complaints,they are giving different different crazy answers after our same 30mins speech at last that 12138 TL some head told that we are not in charge for this,in between somebody cutted the calls toooo,and then we are called 121 head again he also speaking those crazy same mad answer why u are having so many customer care no's like 12138,121,19& sooooooooo,there is no power to them to refund or anything everybody telling air tell is best now you lasting by means of these,for me today nearly 15rs gone for speaking those customer care because you are charging 50paise for 3mins,i charging money that RS98 for gprs and soooo,for this only job for customer satisfaction but for us this is not a job we have so many works whenever we are free only we are using gprs,but you are doing like this.OK what you are going to say about this we only paying money and we are wasting our money too by complaining about your problems by calling customer care.

                                    but, last days, airtel launches plan of 98/2gb.. now actual reason is that "as plan is cheap, so more costumer subscribe it, so server get loaded, as airtel not upgrade their server according to demand"
                                    when i talk to 12118, they tell some technical problem... but i think it is matter of shame for airtel gprs engineers, who unable to resolve this simple problem from last 3 months, , , , solution is only one and only one" upgrade ur server"...

                                    I am using Rs.98/- monthly plan ( 2 GB ) download.
                                    but most of the time, it says Safari can't open
                                    the page as it can't find the server.
                                    Called up on 198, they say there is no problem
                                    from our side and we will call u (normally 5-7 days period)
                                    to solve the query.
                                    Also as I m being charged for monthly plan, the days when I am not
                                    able access Internet due to technical problems are wasted for me.
                                    The call centre people are of no help to solve my problems.
                                    Despite putting my call on hold, sometimes even disconnecting after keeping for hold.

                                    Airtel GPRS — Bad experience with airtel gprs activation and customer care

                                    From the time I shifted from MTNL to private network service providers, I was always skeptical about the kind of customer care they provide. My worries were not unjustified; I used to hear things about how deceitful these service providers can be. Unfortunately I was at the receiving end this time.

                                    It so happened that, I used to access internet using Airtel mobile. It was alright until I thought of shifting to the unlimited data plan. Every time I used to browse a little I used to receive a service message stating how much I had downloaded and every such message always had a small little line stating ‘For unlimited internet please contact 12131’

                                    I called the number 12131. There was a automated message system which told me of the offer that I could get unlimited GPRS internet for 98.00 rental. [Unlimited as in 2GB download limit]. The automated message instructed me to key in ‘1’ for activation of the service. Then I was told to send a SMS to some number for activation, I did that as well. And soon after I got a SMS from them saying. ‘GPRS has been activated on your mobile’. Glad that I was, I started using the internet in full fledged happiness.

                                    This was the scene on 31-Jul. let’s cut to the Independence Day. My GPRS was working smooth, full credit to Airtel in that regard, but then they sent me mobile internet settings once again. I do not know the reason for it, but thank god they did that, I called the customer care to ask for the same, and then started the perils. I came to know that on 31-Jul they had activated the ‘Zero rental plan’ and not the one I had requested i.e. the unlimited plan. So instantly I told them to activate that plan, which promptly they did.

                                    Now I told them then and there that please raise a request, I do not want pay larger amount when it’s not my fault. They refused even registering the complaint as the bill was not generated, so waited for the bill to be generated and then as expected they had charged me for my uses from 31-Jul to 15-Aug. I tried to send mails, and call customer care, but there was no satisfactory response from any of the party.

                                    At the end, the call center guy accepted their mistake, but even told me that I should have confirmed which plan is activated, I was speechless, when I had personally keyed in the number for the unlimited GPRS, and how could they activate a different service and charge me for that. In addition, the SMS they sent me, said, ‘GPRS has been activated on your mobile’. How am I to know which plan is activated from such a stupid, template SMS, which does not contain, at least the plan information. I’m forced to pay more than double amount than what I was expecting it to be.

                                    Airtel, get your act together. And at least tell me what should I do now?

                                    I recharged Rs 98/- pack for mobile office (2 GB free serfing)on 05/09/2010.after that I got mobile office setting and abled to access internet service up to 06/09/2010 10 am.
                                    After that when I reached Bokaro (JH) I was unable to use the mobile office service. When ever I tried to open mobile office service, it always shows "PACKET DATA NOT AVAILABE AND CHECK NETWORK SERVICE”. After that I removed that sim from my mobile and inserted another GPRS enable sim to check my phone setting. And I able to access the MO service easily. There was no problem in my phone setting. After that I again reinserted my original ([protected]) sim and tried to access MO service but I failure i.e. it shows "PACKET DATA NOT AVAILABE AND CHECK NETWORK SERVICE”. More than 20 times I contacted to your customer care. Every time they are taking one complain and giving me some times like 2 hours, 4 hours etc.every time they are assuring me that within the above time limit my problem will be sorted out. But till now I am unable to access MO service. Since last 3 days I found that your BLUDDY NONSENSE CUSTOMER CARE PEOPLE (DURGAPUR CENTER)not able to sort out my problem and some times they cut my phone also.BUSTERD CUSTOMER CARE PEOPLES (NAMES-DEPALI, SOUMEN BANERJEE, BARUN KARMAKAR, DEVJANI, SWARUP)are sitting at hot seat to make foolish the customers only nothing else.

                                    Please take serious action on this matter so that I can use MO service immediately.
                                    dear sir, i am in rural area & coverage tower is SUGAVI. but the gprs speed is between 1 to 5 kbps. average 2 to 3kbps. nowadays i m boring while browsing. my gprs plan is ending on nov 4th. before that, if its not improved, i will not activate gprs again. waste of money. 10 to 20kbps is ok. pls do the needful. pls pls its my kind request. otherwise airtel will lose a customer. thats all.

On contact over Ph:12118 for lodging the complaint the staff is hanging the phone for 10, 15, 7 minutes respectively. the complaint ref No: CBDMO[protected] and CBDMO[protected] is given respectively. Though the charges for 10, 15, 7 @ Rs.0.50 per 3 min. have been levied but problems is not solved.

                                    Airtel GPRS — Charged extra balance

                                    I dialed *222# to activate airtel GPRS day plan which charges 5 rupees. I had 5.89 rupees in my mobile account. First of all they deducted 1rupee for that SMS which was for free..But what the hell is after that I got an SMS that balance is low and it cannot be activated! ?? what happen? I called the customer care number 198. They said that they will inform me whats wrong and to hold. After saying it they disconnected the line. and never called me back again. I called back and got the same thing again...hold and disconnect...hold and disconnect..Is this blood sucker Airtel's best mobile service...?? I want justice...

                                    I got my number to a postpaid on 9th June and called up airtel customer service on 10th to get the 98 rs for 2 gb GPRS plan activated. the advisor explained me the plan and mentioned will get activated in 4 hours. after which i get a call today that i have nearly been charged Rs 1200 for the same servise where i was under the impression that it was 98 rs a month as long as i am within 2 GB o[censored]sage. as a prepaid customer i always used this service and diligently refilled my number for the same so thr is not reason why i would not do the same with postpaid. i am very dissatisfied with this experience since the collections dept calls me again n again asking me to pay without lodging a complaint threatening to disconnect my outgoing services if i didnt make tht payment in 2 hours. I would require some assistance with the same and have mailed the nodal officer and appelate manager for this too with my complaint number which is 38127919. Again today (23rd June) i called up customer service and the representative again mentioned that my service will be activated in 4 hrs and i will get a text message however i have still not recieved the text message.
                                    i have also tried registering a complaint on the website however the website does not register my complaing and says its not available to try again later.

                                    Hello Sir,

                                    I was using free GPRS Pack in my mobile for the past 6 months. The free pack
                                    was completed at 4th Aug 2011. I called customer care to subscribe 98 GPRS pack
                                    on 6th Aug 2011 and Executive said that he will activate the pack in another 3
                                    hours. After that I was using internet and I was getting more unbilled amount
                                    daily. So I called customer care to check the status of the GPRS 98 pack on
                                    22nd Aug 2011. In that call, I came to know that the pack was not activated. So
                                    again I requested him to activate the GPRS pack. And I am using the GPRS in my
                                    mobile. Ticket no for reference (F[protected]. Now my bill amount is 1619 and
                                    GPRS usage charge is 1115. Again I called Customer care on 8th Sep 2011 and
                                    explained the above issue and I requested him to revise my GPRS usage charges.
                                    He said he needs to review the my calls and then he can revise the charges. He
                                    said he will get back to me after reviewing the call. Interaction No is
                                    [protected]. But no response from anyone for the next 2 days.

                                    Then again I called Customer care and raised ticket and explained about the
                                    issue and he sent email to his manager to revise the bill. Ticket No is
                                    39494114. I received call from customer care and they revised Rs 450 from my
                                    GPRS usage. I am not satisfied by this resolution. Because my GPRS usage bill
                                    is 1115.

                                    i am devender a airtel prepaid user having mob no. [protected] i recharged with rs. 99 to get unlimited access over internet on 27/09/2011. but after some time of doing this recharge when i started accessing net then all my remaining account balance of rs 110 suddenly deducted and the balance remains is rs 00.08 you are requested to please refund this amount as early as possible.

                                      I ve been using Airtel Postpai No [protected] for past one year approx. My last 2 bill payment was due and the total amount was 2973 rs, i could nt pay the amount by due date so the srvice provider discontinud services on the mobile number above. The services were halted for the past 10 days or so.

                                      I made the payment of Rs 2973 thru my debit card and got receipt number[protected]with following details:

                                      But they were NOT. I am getting SIM not RGISTERED status.

                                      I cant contact Airtel as i ve no access to Airtel postpaid call center. I tried to contact their prepaid call centre with another prepaid number accessible to m. But in vain.

                                      If they dont want to resume my services why dont they refuse. Why do they mae false commitments?

                                      I ve borne a losss worth rs 1 lac just bcuz i relied on their commitment.

                                      Airtel — unregistration of sim card

                                      Dear madam / sir

                                      Recently, ten days earlier I bought a new postpaid sim card from your representative at our office and I was told that within 4 days my number will be activated. But still there is no response from any of the airtel team.
                                      Neither I have received any call from airtel nor any one has come for vertification.
                                      Out of my frustration I have communicated this thing to airtel customer care but up to my surprise I was told that the number which is given to me is already under service and its registered on some one’s other name.

                                      This is clearly pointing towards the service provided by airtel to their customers.
                                      Being a corporate CUG number our company is always preferring airtel as its having best service than other network providers.

                                      Kindly look into this matter with urgent priority my details are as under. I have submitted all the required documents for the registration.

                                        i am user of mobile office from last 2 year i.e 2008. Those days bandwidth was 6-7 kb/sec... affordable.. I use many plan like daily Rs19, in 2008, NMO 35 for night and other, , I was satisfied...
                                        but, last days, airtel launches plan of 98/2gb.. now actual reason is that "as plan is cheap, so more costumer subscribe it, so server get loaded, as airtel not upgrade their server according to demand"
                                        when i talk to 12118, they tell some technical problem... but i think it is matter of shame for airtel gprs engineers, who unable to resolve this simple problem from last 3 months, , , , solution is only one and only one" upgrade ur server"...

                                        Dear sir/madam
                                        I hv airtel conection with mob. no.[protected].i m not able to surf websites bcoz it has very very(1.5kbps) slow internet.plz increase the speed.

                                        Airtel GPRS — Not accesing the nop service
