    sir, myself ajay owned prepaid airtel connection [protected] which has been stopped for add proof reason. I have submitted the employer letter head i.e.SBBJ bank. but the service provider did not accept it. As a employee from other part of country it is difficult to get local add proof. I have given voter id proof also. it is requested to solve the matter.

      Fake calls for 10 lakhs lottery from airtel
      Around half an hour back today (Feb 20, 2010), I got missed call from the number [protected].

      When I called back at this number, I came to that It was from Dubai and the
      caller said that he is calling from Dubai AIRTEL office. They informed about the lottery which I won worth 10 lakhs.
      I aske the name - it was some Mr. Vijay Kumar(probably fake) told to talk to thier head office to claim this amount.
      The person asked me to give my account number so as to transfer money of Rs.10 lakhs.

      He also said that around 130 Airtel number won this lottery.

      This call deducted huge amount from my balance in mobile.When I called to
      Airtel Customer Care, they said there is no such office in Dubai.I
      was shocked that how someone got my Airtel number and trying to get information like this.
      I request Airtel to take strict action against this number - or the series of numbers as mentioned above by other users.

      Airtel is a brand, and I've been its customer for around 10 years - it should should consider this kind of complaints pretty seriously.
      Any amount of money deducted may be re-reimburse back - thats a suggestion.
      I hope Airtel keeps up to their brand value and not let it get tarnished like this.

        Hello Airtel (Andhra Pradesh),

        I have been using my Airtel number for more than 4yrs. I got it converted into PREPAID a little over a year as I was going overseas.

        Without a message or an SMS, the number has been deactivated and the message I get is "SIMCARD REGISTRATION FAILED", and its not the SIMCARD problem, got it confirmed from your Customer Care Executive.

        It was under LIFETIME VALIDITY and had around 100 rupees as balance.
        The last SMS I got was on 08FEB2010.

        Kindly reactivate my number for me please.

          Airtel made DATA CARDS only to fool the public and make money from them. I am using airtel data card from past 1 year, it worked well for 6 months now the only speed which comes is 2kb to 3kb in a 144kbps connection. Not even a site or messenger can be opened. They only know how to make money and not even rectify the problem after listening to customers. Its a great business by airtel to make money from customers.

          Airtel — fooling people

          I have an airtel sim from more than 3 yrs but now a days they r activating some subscriptions n deducting my balance.
          When i call customer care they were very rude n were denying to refund my money/balance.

          AirTel — How airtel fools people

          Hi,

          I use airtel which just now started working fine in my area after my last complaint. Shameful to launch complaint against airtel once again.

          I am in singapore and before coming to singapore i confirmed the ISD and international roaming charges. I activated the international roaming on my mobile phone as it was very important for me. my unbilled amount then was 340 or something. When i came here that, i did not get regularly updated unblilled usage as i get in India. Not even online on my airtel account. So i asked my friend to enquire in nearby gallery.

          She went up there and asked updates on this and was shocked to know that my bill till jan 11 is above 4000Rs. I came to singapore on 9th. In two days i dint even make outcoming calls of 10 minutes. not even incoming call or messages that many. How can the bill go such highier by nearly 3600 Rs?? And i dont understand why dont i get the updates o[censored]sage through unbilled as well as online access?? Is it the way hidden charges are applied? This is really getting very frustrating for me and i am planning to sue you in the court for this. You apply any international charges mentioned on your web then also the bill will not go this much as i dint even use it that much. I want a full explanation on this one and want to know why am i not getting any updates.

          3600Rs is certainly not what i thought when activating international roaming and your operator explained me everything. how does the 15 minutes usage causes me the bill of 3600 Rs. I want you to know. I am taking this matter to consumer court now. I am continuously in problems with Airtel service. Firstly it was down for 6 months in my area. After trying many days and lodging many complaints got it to work. This time it is even worst. Are you guys fooling your customers through such foolish. I will surely sue you in the court for this now. If i am being charged i want the details of every single minute I am being charged and on what basis your heavy charges are applied and even how do they vary by the ones given by call center users.

            Airtel — airtel service is getting poor day by day

            Airtel service is is getting very poor day by day.They cut the money from my balance without any cause.then after they are showing excuse such that..u have done chat...or call for background music... etc,,i m really fadeup with their service.

            The Customer Care really don't care about the customer. Perfect parrot in practiced English dictions, a little off-beat question confuses them thoroughly. They put you on hold and ask their supervisor.after long time they left after giving illogical excuse.

            Airtel Post paid Service — account not activated even after a week - no proper response from Airtel customer Care

            Hi,

            I am customer of Airtel Service for the past 8 years.
            I hold two post paid accounts. I went to Australia in
            2006, but to retain the number I continued paying the
            bills propmptly. Airtel Customer Service (Hyderabad
            Branch) suggessted me to change the account to Pre paid
            as per the new policy (new policy says that if the
            post paid number is not in use for 6 months it will be
            de activated). As per their suggession, I did the same.
            When I came back to India and requested them to change
            my account to post paid again, they have informed me that
            it is not possible now and I need to open new account and
            then can provide me the same number. I have completed all
            the formalities and paid an advance of Rs 500. They have
            informed that the account will be activated in 48 hrs.
            Its been more than 8 days my account is not activated and
            no proper response from the Airtel Customer Service.
            The customer service team have raised a complaint 16734387 to
            the technical team handling such request. For the first few days,
            they have told me that the server is down and service cannot be
            activated. But its been more than a week and now the customer
            service team started saying that they dont have any updates
            from the technical team about the account activation status.
            Every day I need to call them and remind them. There is
            no pro active response and pathetic service from the Airtel.
            No body knows what is happening and they in turn ask me questions
            about the status of the activation.
            As a old customer, I am very disappointed by the way they are providing
            me the service.
            Please see that some legal action should be taken so that in future other
            customers should not be in trouble with this kind of service.

            Airtel Postpaid — CHEATING OVER BILLS

            Dear sir,
            This is in regard to my post paid connection of airtel that landed me with problems. i am a airtel user since last 3 years. initially they were very good at their service but now a days they are looting the customers. i receive my bill at my residential address while i m engagged in a marketing job away from my place so i used to pay the bills over the SMS that i got from airtel or many times even i had to call them to enquire about my bills but since last year NOV 2007 i noticed a hike in my bill for which when i went at my place in holidays i went through the bill and found that they are charging me a monthly rental of 499 as against that of mine 175. when i enquired about the same at the 121 they said that there are ADDITIONAL PACKS that are being activated on my account that too on my request. since then DEC 2007 i am requesting them to deactivate the optional packs but still i have the same problem repetedly. for first 4 months i.e. DEC 2007 - MAR 2008 i had to call everytime when my bill is generated and ask them to correct the mistake and they would just wave off few bugs. but now i m fed up of all this repeting nonsence and nonsence answers at the customer care like we do not have your requst for deactivation, we are sorry for innconvinence this wont happen again etc etc.

            if You go through my previous history of bills and will get to know that there is never a delay of payments or any thing so, if still they do not care for a customer the customer has a choice.

            Airtel post-paid — Billing issue - poor services

            Hi,

            I am facing poor services from Airtel Postpaid services, which I am holding for past 4yrs. I had requested for a CUG change in the month of Aug 2007...there started my issues. They have changed the CUG but with some othername as customer. I am paying airtel every month bills, but suddenly I have received a letter in the month of Nov 2007 mentioning that there is due of 1850/-, they also mentioned that please ignore if you have already paid the bill. I started getting calls saying that I have to pay bill of 1850/- which is over due. I have done every thing to resolve this issue, approached airtel customer care, Airtel-Accenture customer care executives/senior people, etc...Finally I got response that there is a/c no change when the CUG is changed so the difference is coming. I have asked for the bills i paid it has clear history for every month, they are saying that the transition period calls are not paid which is 1850/- i.e. between 28th Sept 2007 to 04th Oct 2007. I have asked for the bill details for the above period and got response from the saying that they can't provide the call details.
            In this process of 8months, due to deactivation of my mobile services I missed twice my flight, missed many international calls and finally they disconnected my outgoing & incoming (today)...Airtel is really pathatic service provider. I have lost with Airtel & thought of approaching the Consumer Court with all details of mail trails/flight tickets etc.

            About NOP Service — NOP Service is not Working

            Sir, My No. is [protected] and I have subscribed to NOP with Recharge of Rs. 95 and Setting have been sent to me and I have also saved them and made as Defaults but when I try to Open google.com or another site then It displays a message that "An Internal error occured, Please report this message to your service provider" . I am in roaming and I have talked to Haryana Customer Care at [protected], But they gave me the No. 121 4 3 and when I try to contact this no. in Punjab they are not responding me because of Haryana No.

            Airtel Postpaid Service — Airtel Service getting worse day by day

            The customer service getting worst day by day . There is no relation between customer service, Airtel and its dealers. They need more than 3 days to update each of them and till that time its only consumer who is the sufferer because of the improper co-ordination between Airtel's own network.

            I wanted to terminate my cell phone services [[protected]];but not received the deposit back, no proper guidance for the closure procedure, free GPRS scheme but charged without information and now notice is sent thro' a lawyer for Rs.2000.00.
            Question is not for the amount of money, but the way Airtel outlet people behave with the customers.The outlets of this company has no trained and permanent staff, owner M/s Sunny Communication, Jail Road, Nashik Road is a fellow who does not listen to the customers and has no ability to resolve the issues.
            No matter whatever happens, I will not pay.Let the matter go to Airtel top management.

            Airtel Post paid Service — AIRTEL IS CHEATING THEIR CUSTOMERS.BILL PAID BUT NOT POSTING BY AIRTEL. THEY DISCONNECT THE PHONE FOR ALREADY PAID BILLS BECAUSE OF THEIR NEGLIGENCE

            Am user of airtel post paid mobile. I had paid my bill on Sept 13 for Rs 1163 to the phone [protected]. The Airtel outlet at Residency road who received they said you will get an sms as confirmation. But even after 15 days I did not recieve confirmation. Knowingly to avoid chance of disconnection I sent mail to customer care stating I have apid my bill and not recd the confirmation, therfore pl see that its not disconnected. Got a reply saying your complint ref and will look into. For sudden suprise I kept getting sms and calls saying that to pay the bill. Expalined each caller and to customer care n number of times on the payment. Each time they ask us to go to airtel outlet and explain. They do not have any record for the receipt of payment. I have given my ATM statement and bank main statement as proof. I kept visiting their outlet at Residency road and everytime they say it has been done. Even after 50 days still they are unable to set correct it and even now I get complaint that bill is pending. Meanwhile 3 times they disconnected my conection, after bombarding they reconnected.

            Overall Airtel service has come to foot path co level and very low and very poor net work all over. Calls get disconnected all of a sudden during middle of conversation. Consumers do not get to speak to their higher ups neithr get their suprior name add phone. Every outlet we can see system is down, sorry. They do not give receipt for mobile payments.

            Airtel Postpaid — Billing issue and Very poor service

            HIi All,

            Airtel Karnataka (Banglore) is providing the worst support and & customer care in the World!!.I am working in Corporate company and had taken Nine (9) sim cards for me and my family but after one day ttwo nummbers had been given to some other person and 2 simcards not even registered and the address verification person came on 4th December and all the formalities had been done but still now nothing they had done not even enabled my outgoing.After several call and mails still no update and I called customer care and finally asked them to cancell all my numbers as it is no use for me to have the mobile with out outgoing.They had disconnected by gods grace and not they had sent bill by mail for those 4 days without outgoing which included for even the deactivated sim and the Bill for two numbers which had been given to some other person is also is in my name.I had sent mail but still no update on that .The worst and pooverest service by AIRtel if it still continous regarding my bill then I need to go to consumer court.
            Totally agree with you even i m facing a problem from last 2 months i called up the customer care 40-50 times to stop the sms service (love tips) which was activated on my no. without any approval and all the amount that i recharge on this no [protected] cut off due to the above said stupid service to whome these people are not stopping at all, they always promise to me that in next 2 days you will not receive any more messages. but things are not changed from last two months now i have 2 options 1st to get the sim out and throw it away or should i appeal in the consumer court for the same..

            Can some one please suggest me?

            Now the RM keshav gowda doesn't pick up the call and when i send him the msg . he says whatever you want to do you can do .

            This is regarding the airtel numbers of[protected] and[protected].

            First of all there is a pure negligence from your side to inform us about the billing of blackberry services for 899 per month which we have been paying it for a long time. Oher thing the relationship manager Mr Keshav Gowda appointed by you is useless and he does not have the sense to talk to our director Rajesh Lakshmanan.

            This is to inform you that when we took the blackberry mobile we had paid the INR 7000 per year for the services. But now we have seen the bills paid by our accountant for 899 per month for more than 1 year without knowingly.
            Also we had faced lot of network/ blackberry services problem when your airtel office was burned and we had continued your services. Also one of the problem for the past 5 months we were facing when we were dialing the malaysian numbers the opposite side voice was not been able to hear and we have been charged by you @6.40 per call . But when we had used the other services of friends mobile from vodafone and reliance the voice was able to hear. So its the problem from your side.

            Require the kind attention and we request you to first change the relationship manager like keshav gowda who will spoil your companies name and anyway we will be taking action against your RM. Other thing also request you to kindly reverse the charges charged by you to continue the long term relationship we have been having with your esteemed company.

            My airtel post paid connection in bangalore, all of a sudden stopped working since 29/03/2009 morning, and has still not been fixed even today that is 01/04/2009. I have made repeated calls to airtel customer service, talked with their service representatives, their managers, and everytime they say the same thing, "We ar sorry for the inconvinience, our concerned department is working on the same". Initially they promised that the problem will be resolved within 24 hours, and they also promised to provide regular updates to me, but nothing has happened from their side.

            I have even mentioned them, that how many of my important calls are not happening because of this, but even that did not help.

            Please suggest the course of action i should take against Airtel, as i have had enough mental harrassment.

            Airtel Post paid Service — Call Drop

            Sir,
            I have post paid connection of cell service provided by you.Since 6th June i am facing problem of call drop specially when I am at home .I lodged complaints at customer service many a time but till date no improvement has been observed.I am sorry to inform you that in case problem is not solved within next 48 hours, I shall be left with no any alternate then to surrender the SIM and go for any alternate service .             Airtel NOP Service — Not activated service as told

            I have recharge rs.104/- for NOP service on 14 nov. at 11 o,clock, but still now i could not accessing this service, i had spoke to the customer care executive lots of time but they did not solve my problem. Initially they told me that the service will activate after 24hrs. But now the time is over but in vain, after that i again spoke to the C.C.executive, now they are telling me that the service will active after 48hrs. What is, this its really redicullous.
            Airtel is providing the worst support and & customer care in the World!!.I am a CEO of my company and had taken Three cards for me and my employee.Last five months i had a network problems and other Network regarding problems, I was complaind @ it to customer care and dealers of airtel at visnagar but still no result @ it, they are calling only for bills but not for survices, nothing they had done.After several call and mails still no update and I called customer care and finally asked them to all my problems .I had call but still no update on that .The worst and pooverest service by AIRtel if it still continous regarding my bill then I need to go to consumer court

            Airtel — NOP service activation

            I am using a airtel prepaid no:[protected]. Its been 10 days i have been calling airtel customer desk requesting the same thing repeatedly that i want to reactivate my NOP services, But its been a long hard time for me to get through the same. i have got few reference no: also for various complaints that i have registered till date, but what solution i have got till date is?????

            Answer is NOTHING..
            most of the executives i have come across are unaware of what exactly is happening around with my no:. Can somebody help me??
            I had a problem in this month bill for my postpaid connection. I had called the customer care 8 times and sent mail to their higher authority twice.
            For the 8 times, customer care executives said the same line " We will call you back". But till now I dint get any call from them. I think they were not ready to give proper explanation on this billing issue. They are not so responsible for their customer. I am very tired of calling them. Instead I made their payment. But finally I am not happy with the Airtel Customer care service. I am gonna opt for some other service provider who cares about their customer very well.

              Respected Sir/Ma'am

              I am one of those who are suffering from taking an airtel postpaid numbers.

              My mobile number is [protected]. I got it Disconnected on 19th of January, 2010 my complaint number is 30527105. In reply to that i got a call from Mr. Vikas who convinced me to continue the number by saying that i would be getting certain new features to my number, which were:- 1. Zero rental, till the time i use this mobile.
              2. An additional Rs150 calls on local numbers for 3 months which is extendible to further 3 months after that.
              3. 100 messages free for the rest of the time that i use this number.

              Still when the number started and the bill came it had no rentals deducted in fact my std calls were charged with 1rupee while it was told to me that it would be 50 Paise.

              I do not know what to do except for moving to the consumer forum.

              Kindly revert with a positive response that makes me keep my number as i don't want to loose this number as it is distributed everywhere.

                Hello,
                This is regarding the useless Blackberry Customer Services I

                would like to draw blogger's attention to:
                This is regarding the Airtel Blackberry 8700G - [protected].
                This is a corporate connection Airtel Blackberry with Solus Consumer Services Private Limited, a Prepaid with a monthly plan of Rs. 299.
                The Internet or Blackberry services got disconnected on the phone on 30th of January. Inspite of reminder followups & mail communications we got only assurances from the service provider. As and when a call from the corporate representative has been given it is told that the same will be activated by sending PMP at certain number. The same never happened. This was repeated some 60 odd times and around 30 calls were made morning and evening to the Blackberry Customer Service no response was recieved.
                Five days back i.e. on 14th February a Customer Service associate told that their is some issue with Pre Paid server and the same shall be resolved in 24 hours. Those 24 hours never came.

                Now today while while speaking to a customer service associate we came to know that Pre Paid server of Airtel Blackberry is stuck due to some reason and cant be resolved for indefinite time. please go forward for a post paid plan.

                Need to know something on the same front.
                1. Who is answerable for this chaos?
                2. Who shall repay the Rs. 504 balance in that prepaid connection?
                3. Who will be responsible for the Loss of business because of this

                chaos?
                4. Who is responsible for wastage of time spent chasing to the BB

                Customer care?

                I know many of the my fellow bloggers shall be having a similar kind

                of issue which i[censored]nresolved extends a serious threat to enterprise

                data to an extent and corporate communications in other way.

                I am facing the exact same problem right now. Been 4 days since I've been trying to activate the 299 / 899 plans (tried both several times). Each time, I get a response that my request for activation of the service cannot be processed. Please try again later. :-/

                I spoke the to BB Customer Support @ Airtel. After calling up several times, the representative suggested the exact same thing (moving to Postpaid) as they have authority in Postpaid to enable / disable services whereas, its automated in prepaid.

                While whatever he said made perfect sense, I can't understand why hasn't Airtel fixed this mess till now. It surprises me to see that 4 months have passed yet there's no respite for prepaid users.

                Shame on your Airtel.
                I took my connection in mid-march. And I am sure they had same issues back then. I never understood one thing about them, If there server's are really down for so long, why are they still advertising the plans for prepaid ? Why are they even accepting the requests of activations and deducting balance from subscriber ? Why are they simply not telling the customers approaching for prepaid plan that there services are temporarily down ?

                I am just, so glad that in 10 days I was able to grasp what kind of organization Airtel is. And fortunately I ' literally extracted' my refund and changed my operator who are providing me with excellent, high quality and professional service. Or else, Who know I would have been stuck all the time till date without activation !

                Airtel did had problems in activating my blackberry service for 299 plan(prepaid). The amount was deducted from my balance and I was promised that service will start within 24- hours. But it never started. I made calls of more than Rs.100 to the so-called 'Blackberry Technical Support" and all what I got as reply was "Prepaid customers are not our priority, and they are helpless and I may have to wait for an uncertain amount of time atleast 10 days to any amount of time to get my service activated". Also I was never given any kind of reference number for complaints I registered. Not to mentions there horrible and unskilled officials there who use to put me on long holds, sometimes even upto 10 minutes or even disconnecting the calls after putting on long holds. Remember Airtel charges money for it. And to specific number which I was calling ending with 7070 they were charging the normal call rates. No clear solution to the issue was ever presented or addressed. All the while hints were dropped to me that if I was post-paid customer the service would have guaranteedly started in 4 hours ! I was really taken aback at such a fraudulent behavior on part of Airtel. Moreover it was painful to see how prepaid customers for blackberry gets step-motherly treatment. It was really terrible on part of Airtel when it was revealed that they cannot guarantee Blackberry service to prepaid customers when prepaid customers are the one who guarantees them the money by pre-paying it.

                I also wrote to and called Nodal officers but none ever replied. Airtel has provided some worst quality service and customer care in all this. After 10 days, I finally understood by now that service by Airtel is hopeless for me, and there is no guarantee that it will ever be activated, even if it gets activated and some problem arises in future I would not be able to stand Airtel's incompetent 'Technical Support'. So I finally asked for my refund as it was only ten days and they were unable to get service activated. They initially declined to refund. But after some hard talks and implications that I would be moving to consumer court and ask for refund+compensation (for all the financial and mental trouble they caused)+ (if possible) a public apology in all the leading newspapers. Finally and fortunately, they had to oblige and give me 100% refund.

                I instantly changed my SERVICE PROVIDER. And voila ! as soon as my new number from OTHER OPERATOR activated my Blackberry services were also activated.

                This incident really has tarnished Airtel's reputation in my eyes. As far as my Blackberry service for prepaid is concerned I experienced lack of transparency and really horrible and incompetent customer service. And in future, I know I will never recommend Airtel or any of it's services to anyone.

                  Dear sir/madam,

                  I am a customer of Bharti Airtel mobile prepaid service since past 3 years. Today i went to a mobile prepaid recharging shop and purchased an Airtel prepaid mobile voucher worth Rs 20. On the frontside of the voucher it is clearly printed exactly as follows :

                  MSC: Rs.20 (Service tax inclusive), Calling Value Rs.16.13,
                  Processing Fee Rs. 2.00, Validity of 0 days

                  From this description itself, it is clear that the voucher gives me a talktime validity of 16 rupees and 13 paise. After when i punched the 16 digit code in the voucher as per instructions in the card, i was able to get my mobile recharged but only with 15.13 Rs . instead of actual 16.13 Rs.

                  As soon as i noticed this unusual change in talktime, i contacted the company's pre-paid customer care. I talked with an executive and described about my issue. He told me that, it is Airtels new scheme so that instead of that 1 Rupee i will get 10 Local/International SMS free valid for 4 days. I told him, it was a normal voucher and nothing about this offer was described on top of the voucher. The voucher clearly talks about 16.13 Rs talktime. I told him that i purchased the voucher for regular talktime, not for any offer recharge. If i was in need of any offer there are several offer recharges and special easy recharge schemes available which i will do. But now, i was in need of talktime only and that is why i purchased a topup recharge voucher.

                  Also, i already had an existing validity of 100 SMS a day after paying for two local SMS. So, i asked him to waver the money back to my account since i wasnt awared about any "hidden" charges imposed on me in name of normal recharge voucher. He told he he will transfer it to his senior department, and i waited for some seconds. The same thisg repeated with senior. He argued to me that they cannot do anything and Airtel is offering likewise. He was speaking like i am guilty by purchasing a normal topup recharge voucher.

                  He argued with me saying that Airtel isnt giving 16.13 Rupees for 20 Rs recharge, and only 15.13 Rs is available. I told him that i had the recharge voucher as evidence in my hand and nowhere in that card describes about any hidden offers and also it clearly talks about my regular talktime. He then argued that he cannot come and check the card in my hands to validate whether i am saying truth or not. I said ok, then i will provide you the serial number of recharge voucher so that you can validate my complaint. I gave the serial number of that card :

                  Now he got confused on what to say, and asked me to wait for some seconds. After a while he returned back and told me that they cannot get further card details other than its price and validity. I asked him that there should be some information about this card in your databases and then he transferred the call to another senior executive.

                  Now, things again repeated here and he also told me that Airtel is doing likewise, so you are liable to accept the changes. The phone conversation ended with me saying i will complain this to consumer court.


                  Dear sir/madam, there was nothing descriptive on the recharge voucher about this hidden cost on an offer which normally i doesnt need. Whenever i recharges with 20 Rupees card i was able to get 16.13 as talktime. So i did expected the same today also. The customer care executive argued that this is a new plan introduced by Airtel. If it is so, isnt it the liability of the company to inform its customers about a change in talktime in its existing topup recharges? I am getting atleast 4 or 5 marketing calls and more than 5 marketing messages daily from Airtel. I havent ever received any informative message or IVR calls regarding any changes in talktimes. The company doesnt had enough interest towards customers and alerting them about new changes but in their cheap marketing tricks.

                  Really, i was forced to pay for an offer which i doesnt need and that too in the form of hidden charge. 1 Rupee may not be a big loss for now, but what will i do if in future i will be fooled with bigger amounts i this way? How can i guarentee that i will not be fooled again by Airtel? How many lakhs of people might be fooled like me, and how much would be this company earning illegally by cheating customers? Dear sir/madam,strict action must be taken to these type of companies imposing extra expenses to customers without their knowledge, and not ready to refund the customer for his valid demands.

                  Airtel/Prepaid — every second a new scheme to befool innocent customers

                  I have a AIRTEL prepaid connection No-[protected].since last 15/20days its shown while checking balance that-"ab local calls sirf 50paise/minute, 24Rs RCV me paiye Rs19.74 and 50 local A to A night calls free, validity 30days" This is nothing but to cheat an innocent customer.Because i recharged on 31Jul by Rs 24 RCV but when had a local call on 07Aug at 2315hrs for 03mts i was charged.Bakwas customer scare service says I had consumed all night free calls.This is really pathetic.You cant make customers fool if so then organisation will meet its dead end anytime .

                  I got a call from the side of Airtel and a positive response regarding the issue. Thank you Mr.Rakesh Kumar for contacting me and promising a refund of 5 Rs (Including the amounts from my 5 recharges after this complaint). and assuring about messaging the concern department to alert all customers describing any changes in existing tariffs/recharge values before they take place.

                  I'll post back here if i get the refund as promised.

                    I am Subramanian. I have been using Airtel broadband connection for the past 1 year.
                    My Broadband land line number[protected].

                    I recently shifted my room in the same street and i placed request for relocation.
                    After few days, i got a response that there is no feasibility in that area. Then i placed a request
                    for Cancellation.

                    Last week (Feb 13th), one Sales person came to my room and he was enquiring whether i need airtel boradband
                    connection. He checked for feasibility and he said YES. Please note that for the same address, just one
                    week back, i got a call that i do not have feasibility for connection.

                    Then, he collected 500Rs and all the documents which are needed. I even gave Rs.1000 extra which is required
                    for Bachelors as Security Deposit. With in 2 days, they said connectivity is not there.

                    My issues,
                    1. Without checking the correct feasibilty, how can one collect all my documents and Security Deposit : 1000 + Installation Charge - 500.
                    2. 1 week back, some one from Airtel told, there was no feasibility and last week some one said , there was feasibility and 2 days back, again

                    3. When asked about refunding of my money (Rs.1500) , no body is giving me proper answer.
                    4. Time & money Wasted for these people and repeated calls.
                    5. When i called Airtel Cusomter care, they did not serve me anything. They simply said it is not related to us and asked me to call directly the Sales person. Should Airtel Customer care should be in sync with this info ???

                      After that I tried so many times to talk again but THEY HAVE USUAL PRACTICE TO AUTOMATIC DICONNECT THE CALLER BEFORE CONTACTING TO CUTOMER CARE WHEN THEY DONT WANT TO ATTEND HIM & THE SAME HAPPENED WITH ME ALSO.

                      OVERALL THEY ARE BREAKING THE LAW OF "DO NOT DISTURB SERVICES" & RUINING THE MY TIME & DISTURBING MY SOCIAL LIFE SO I WANT TO TAKE ACTION AGAINST THEIR CUSTOMER CARE SERVICES & THEIR COMPANY.

                      i want to know have been registered with ndnc on 14/05/2009;reference no-f[protected], how can i receive promotional calls.contacting customer care, executive is telling me to send an sms no promo to 511.

                        This refers to my complaint no 30994897 to airtel regarding non-functioning of my mobile. As soon as I landed in Jamnagar, I couldn't get my mobile registered to the new network. My base location is Bangalore and I called several times to Karnataka circle but no resolution. If I call the local customer support they say they can't help and I'll have to call Karnataka circle only. The Karnataka circle no is chargeable and they keep holding for hours together and don't give any reply. I need mobile to work immediately. Please take this seriously.

                          Hi all,

                          I am Arun, recently relocated to Hyderabad, and I bought one new Airtel prepaid connection, during filling my enrolment form I submitted my PAN card and driving licence copies as my photo ID, and gave rented house electricity bill as my address proof, even then I got disconnected my outgoing calls after 10 days of purchase, then rush into nearst Airtel gallary, they asked me to submit all those forms once again, ! ...?...

                          After having long battle with them .... once again I forced to give all my docs ....

                          then finally my incoming calls also barred now .....

                          I cant understand what kind of system they are following for address verification and how they approving to new connections .......

                          Now plan to change my number .....

                          Is it possible to get that same number ......? If possible kindly help me

                          WHY ARE U PEOPLE TROUBLING YOUR CUSTOMERS BY BLOCKING THE SIMS AND NOT EVEN ALLOWING THEM TO SPEAK TO THE CUSTOMER CARE.THIS IS VERY IRRESPONSIBLE BEHAVIOR FROM AIRTEL.                           I am chetna i had bought airtel prepaid connection on 29 october 2011 with submition of all the id and address proof after 6 months usage of same number they blocked my sim without any intimation. when i rushed to their authorised dealer addressed- Airtel Connect Point, Shop-17, I- Block Market, Sector-12 with again all the id proofs he rejected to take the documents after that when i called to customer care number they told me that they blocked the number due to no id proof is submited i want to know that he a company is going to block the number they should have intimate customer but i my case i have not recieved any message from them.

                            I (Prem Rattan Ahuja Chief Manager)have been posted at Oriental Bank of Commerce Gomti nagar Lucknow as Branch Incumbent from Bathinda w.e.f. 11.01.2010, I took post paid connection. I gave PAN, Copy of Passport, Account statment of Bank account and Employer Identity Card. But my call was barred after 7 day due to negtive report of address verification(Which is of my colleage where I stayed. After some days I got my accomodation and applied for change of address. Instead of changing the address my out going call has been barred. I have already given my new Number to my clients([protected]). My new address is 3/228 Vikas Khand Gomti Nagar Lucknow(proof of same has been already submitted to dealer. I also tried to contact Mauri [protected] but she did nothing to help.So get it verified and my connection be reactivated.
                            More Over I am existing customer of Airtel and using Two Numbers for the last 5 years these are [protected] and [protected].

                              Hi,

                              I really don't know whether this is going to help in anyway.

                              This is regarding the Airtel Broadband connection. I have inquired regarding the Broadband connection to [protected] on 31st of January '10. As a followup they have sent two executives to my place to check the feasibility. They left saying there is some problem in the BOX so they need to speak to their manager. After 2days a guy(Karthik) from Airtel called up and told that he is going to come to my place to collect the documents and the amount for the connection. He came and took the money giving me a Receipt for the payment. Since then this guy has gone missing.

                              Now, the Airtel people is telling they cannot do anything regarding this matter and they are not able to trace this guy. I have given them(Airtel) all the details for this Karthik including Mobile Number. But, they said they cannot traced the person as the number is switched off. But, to my belief, there is no chance that this person could be from other company other then Airtel itself.

                              My Question is,
                              1). Why do they recruit people if they cannot take down proper information at times of recruitment?
                              2). Why they don't know who this person is and where is he from?

                              Any help regarding what can be done would be highly appreciated.

                                Dear Sir/Madam,
                                I have taken two new sim cards from our satara road office from Miss Sweta. She told me that you will get a bill of Rs.249/- for both the numbers [protected] & [protected] , but when I asked the helpline they told me, that it is for one number, so I reached to the airtel satara road office to Miss Sweta, here lied & said that she didn’t say any thing. On the spot I said to cancel both my numbers, then she said that u have to use atleast until first bill is generated. I went to her the same day when I received the bill, then se said you have to pay both the bill & u will receive the deposit of one thousant by cheque with in 40 to 45 days. But till date I have not received the cheque.
                                So please return by one thousand rupees by cheque or cash immedietly.
                                While disconnecting Miss Sweta to me that she will return my refund amount in cheque, there fore I have confirm her twice verbally.
                                I don’t want my refund amount in recharge form.

                                As per your telephonic conversation with Miss Sweta on 19th November 2009. She told me to send a mail Miss A.Chivate

                                now when i went to the airtel office,they told me that Miss Sweta & Mr.Swapnil both left the job, they have taken your money & we cant do any thing.But my saing is that they both were employes of your organication. Bring both of them in front of me. Company says that this who people have given false commitment to me. But they were the employes of your company, so company have to suffer the loss why me. & why the company is giving the loss to the geniune customer

                                  airtel is a complete cheater b'coz it charges for the ringing time also in its pay per second plan. For example i[censored] call someone and he/she attend ur call after 30seconds of ring and you talk for 53 seconds then you will be charged for 30+53=83 seconds instead of 53 seconds.
                                  Please help it because this company is charging to its customers without even telling full plan details and lots of people are being cheated daily.
                                  Airtel is cheating its customers. It made customers to recharge with 64 to avail pay per second offer (1p/sec for AIRTEL and 1.2p/sec for other ) in kerala.
                                  Now AIRTEL reduced the call tariff of AIRTEL freedom plan (1p/sec for all local and std calls). Now also existing customers need to recharge with high amounts to get the new tariff. This is crazy.
                                  Being the largest telecom company AIRTEL should not do this.

                                    I was getting message that you have downloaded the games for Rs 99 , Rs 50 etc. I thought the msgs were spams and ignored initially. But after 3-4 days when I got the msg that I crossed my credit limit , I realized that these download messages were real. But as a precautionary measurement I called airtel on the same day and raised this issue and deactivated the airtel live ( which is in activated state by default). But I was still getting those download messages for 2 days even I deactivated airtlel live. I was automatically getting registered to some game downloading services game club etc.

                                    My outgoing calls were stopped as I refused to pay the bills until these download issues were not cleared. I had to wait till feb 14 to get my online bill generated.
                                    Now it is showing that I have downloaded games worth of Rs 620!!. I dont know how to use airtlel live neither I downloaded any games. !! Even my mobile may not support Java game. ( Not sure as Java is not supported in my mobile) They are simply saying that the bill shows that you have downloaded it.

                                    It was great inconvenience to me as messages were comming continuously for every 2-3 min. And no one cared for the solution even after 15 days. I had to raise the complain only after getting my online bill . Now they are saying wait 2 more days.

                                      Airtel Pre-paid Mobile Number: [protected]

                                      Cricket alerts have been automatically subscribed for this number and I keep receiving alerts from[protected] and I am being charged Rs. 5/- per day. I had sent unsubscribe SMS (UNSUB SPO) to 54321 as per their web-site and received a confirmation SMS that the alerts are de-activated. However, I still keep receiving the alerts which is very disturbing and also money gets deducted.
                                      I tried reaching out to customer care on 121/[protected], but did not find any option to talk to a customer representative, just some IVR messages.
                                      Also, wrote to customer care at [protected]@airtel.in but still no action has been taken.

                                      I request these alerts to be de-activated immediately and stop deducting money from the pre-paid account.

                                      My mobile number is [protected]. I recieve jokes from rediff in my airtel mobile (Kerala) for which i have not subscribed. I had spoke to customer care regarding this issue. Even though, everytime they told me it was rectified, i still get those jokes msgs and each time i get them i'm being charged Rs 1 per msg.                                       Im a resident of vasai, would like to your notice the miseries Airtel customers are facing. We have an Airtel cust service office at Ambadi rd vasai which is not able to provide cust service as there are no pc. The place is worth having a look at. No computers just3 chairs and a long table.Any system related issue they done even take an initiative . they give u a no and ask u to call999 from a phone placed outside the off. Anther thing to add... now my mom and dad are Airtel users and suddenly some sort of jokes and cricket service is activated on their phone widout their knowledge and their charged 30 each . On calling cust service they say they are deactivating the service and will reimburse this amt again.. now the service is deactive bt the amt is not reimbursed... then we have to again call up then the do the needfull...then after another two days the service starts again... and again the same circle repeates.... this has happened almost 3 to 4 times now... this really is so irritating... can something be done abt this....and moreover when we visit these cust service off they dont listen to u but ask u to call that 999 no ..... where my resolution ... can your reputed reporters team work on piece of info and bring peace and solution to us.. plz reply.... hoping to see some investigation on this matter

                                      Here is an easy way to disable all the sneaky paid services that AirTel has automatically subscribed you to.

                                      Send a SMS saying “STOP” to 121.
                                      You will receive a reply acknowledging your request.
                                      Right after that, you should receive a list of services currently activated on your phone.
                                      If there are 1 or more services active on your phone, reply immediately to the message (send to 1210) “STOP” with the index number for the service you want to stop (see the example below).
                                      AirTel will ask you to confirm that you want to stop the service by replying with “1″.
                                      Reply with “1″ to stop the service (send to 1210).
                                      Repeat step 1 for the remaining services.
                                      You should get a message that no services are active on your phone.

                                      For example,

                                      Services active:

                                      1. AirTel Talkies (code number)

                                      2. Job tips

                                      3. Jokes

                                      Simply reply by sending “STOP 1″ to 1210 in order to disable “AirTel Talkies”, or “STOP 2″ to disable “Job Tips” and so on.

                                        My Airtel mobile number is [protected]. Without my consent/request I am being forcibly charged Rs. 30/- per month because I have been informed that I have become a member of Mitti Ke Rang. This is utter false. This must stop forthwith and the earlier charges given back to me by through addition of balance in my Mobile account. Since when Airtel has started these unfair trade practices? Can they be punished for this?

                                        I hold an AIRTEL mobile number. Very often once a week Airtel charges me for unwanted and non requested services like ring tone and what not. I have called them several times ( It takes more than 2 hours to contact a customer service !!! sometimes the whole day) to leave me alone, but to no avail. After a month they do the same,

                                        Can you suggest me how to go about it to stop this rip off by Airtel. Are they allowed to force charge you for services which you have not asked for. Please suggest.
