The Applicant is practising Lawyer in Delhi and is the customer of Airtel DTH services vide customer Id [protected]. I want to lodge my grievance that I was one of the satisfied customers of Airtel DTH services and my Customer Id is [protected] and it is registered in the name of Manoj Communications. I was availing the services through the above said connection since for a long time. In August 2017 I had shifted my residence from Moti Nagar, New Delhi (West District) to Rohini New Delhi (North District).
With the shifting of my house I felt the need of another DTH connection as this time I installed one another Television for my childrens in the separate room and accordingly I had instructed the Customer Care Department of Airtel Dth Services to shift my connection at my current location as well as provide me the subsequent set top Box for my another T.V. I paid Approx. Rs 650/- for additional set top Box as demanded from me and opted the yearly subscription for my primary T.V so that I cannot be worried every month for recharge purposes. I also opted minimum available package for my subsequent T.V as per requirement.
After some time I issued the specific direction to the Airtel DTH customer Care to disconnect my subsequent connection as no body in my house was using the said connection and the customer care representative noted my request for disconnection. After some period I had received calls and messages for recharging the subsequent connection. I immediately issued the fresh directions to the representative of the Customer Care to disconnect the subsequent connection as I had already issued the necessary directions previously but the same was not complied with and the customer care representative followed the same and assured me that my subsequent connection will be disconnected.
In June 2018 I again recharged my secondary connection with yearly subscription and paid Rs 5800/- through Paytm App and opted sports infinity yearly package. It may be noted here that on 24/05/2019 I received the call from Airtel DTH customer care Representative and he informed me that my yearly package is going to expire on 28/05/2019 and instructed me to recharge it immediately. I informed the Representative of Airtel DTH that as I am out of town and is coming back on 29/05/2019 and I will recharge the same at that time.
On 29/05/2019 I received the message that the services of my above mentioned customer ID has been stopped due to insufficient balance. I immediately checked my record and It has come to my knowledge that I had opted the yearly package in the month of June 2018 and it was not the number of days package than how my services has been suspended prior to its validity which falls in the month of June 2019.
I immediately searched the lowest available monthly package in Airtel DTH Delhi on Internet and my search stopped on Rest Of India Package of Rs 199/- with 30 days validity. I opted the same and recharged the said package of Rs 199/- with validity of 30 days on 29/05/2019.
On 29/05/2019 I received a message from AIRTEL DTH
“ update on your Airtel Digital TV ID [protected]. Airtel Pack added :- DELMP CG RAJ Val Sports Lite. Monthly Rental of new activated channel/s Rs 272.0. For a/c details, give a missed call to [protected] from your registered mobile”. Again I received another message
“ Your selected channel/s have been added to the Airtel Digital TV ID [protected]. Monthly Rental of new activated channel/s Rs0.0. To Know you’re a/c details, give a missed call to [protected]”
In the mean while I came to know about the one new service of Airtel Internet Service and to know more about that service I made a request on Airtel Customer Care Service to describe me about the same and my request was noted against request No 89788916 dated 31/05/2019 and it was informed me through message that one Mr Om Prakesh Service Engineer was deputed to address my request and after talking to him I came to the conclusion that the Airtel is giving the smart TV option through said Internet TV service and I am already using the smart TV so I dropped my idea for Internet TV.
On 01/06/2019 I received a message from Airtel DTH
“ Due date for Airtel Digital TV ID [protected] is on 02-Jun-2019. The rental is Rs 975/month. Rs 30 CASHBACK vis PayTM .Recharge at (code AIRTEL 30) m.p-Y.TM/tVaRL.” I ignored the same as I thought it was wrongly sent to me .
On the same day i.e. 01/06/2019 I received again a message from Airtel DTH
““ Customer Id : [protected] A/C Balance Rs 86.3, Current Monthly Charges (973), Validity: 02-JUN-2019, Last Recharge Date/amount : 29/05/2019/Rs 199, No of Connections:2” For the first time the Airtel DTH customer Care mentioned the number of connections 2 in its messages .
I immediately called the customer care number of the Airtel DTH and inquired as why this message has been sent to me as I have recharged with Rest Of India Pack on 29/05/2019 with 30 days validity and why the validity of my DTH ID is showing upto 02/06/2019 and why you have mentioned numbers of connections “2” in your message despite the knowledge that I had already disconnected my subsequent connection long back ago. The Customer care representative informed me that my both connections are active and they have not received any instructions in this regard as per record and also informed me that there is no package in the Airtel DTH with the name Rest of India of Rs 199/- with 30 days validity.
I was shocked and surprised that the AIRTEL DTH service providers are looting the hard earned money of the general public as one side the Rest Of India Package is still available on the website with 30 days validity and why the customer care department is denying the availability of said package and on the other hand why my suspended services were resumed when I recharge with 199/- and sent me the message
“ update on your Airtel Digital TV ID [protected]. Airtel Pack added :- DELMP CG RAJ Val Sports Lite. Monthly Rental of new activated channel/s Rs 273.0. For a/c details, give a missed call to [protected] from your registered mobile”. Again I received another message
“ Your selected channel/s have been added to the Airtel Digital TV ID [protected]. Monthly Rental of new activated channel/s Rs0.0. To Know you’re a/c details, give a missed call to [protected]” she has simply replied that we have instructed you to recharge with minimum Rs 200/- for activating your services but in actual I recharged with Rs199/-.
I immediately instructed the Customer Care Representative to immediately stop my services of one of my connection as I am not using the same, she informed me for that I have to surrender the second SET TOP BOX and when I informed her that I had paid for that and she informed me that Airtel given that on discounted rates and I have to surrender the same, For the first time it has come in my knowledge that I have to return the said thing for which I had paid in advance . I do not want to involve in any controversy and I directed the Representative of Customer Care to send your representative and I will hand over the Set top Box and I received the message
“ Namaste! Your Reference No is 89850925 for Voluntary Disconnection. For any further Assistance on your Airtel Digital TV ID [protected], PLEASE CALL[protected]” and it was also informed me that the Representative will visit at my home on 04/06/2019 at about 4.15 pm after taking the appointment from me.
On 04/06/2019 at about 4.30 Pm I received the call from Airtel DTH and the representative forcing me to keep on the second connection and suggested me to suspend the services for 6 months by paying charges of rupees 200/-, I informed him that I have requested the Airtel DTH to disconnect the second connection but you did not follow my instructions and despite specific request for surrendering the second connection why you are forcing me to continue with second connection by paying suspension amount of Rs 200/-. It is very surprising that Representative straight way denied for removing the second connection and told me that he will not disconnect the second connection. I immediately instructed him than you should disconnect my both connections and I will purchase the new one and he disconnected my call. The shock did not stop there after 20 minutes I received the message from customer care that “ The service reference No 89850925 for your Airtel Digital Id [protected] has been resolved. For more details, call 12150 or [protected]”
On 02/06/2019 my services were again stopped by showing ERROR CODE 6
“Your account is suspended due to low balance. To resume services, recharge immediately with Rs 200 or more . Keep your set top Box ON during recharge”
I have all the snapshots of the messages as well as voice recordings of Airtel DTH Customer Care Representatives.
I want the following immediate action on my complaint
1 If the Airtel DTH is not providing any Rest Of India Plan @ 199/- with the validity of 30 days than why it is reflecting on website of Google which covers under the definition of cheating as defined under Indian Penal Code as well as it’s a case of Cyber Crime for showing/providing the wrong information to the public at large.
2 Why my second connection has not been Dis-connected despite directions and why the customer care demanded me to return the set top box, is it as per guidelines of TRAI please provide me the related guidelines .
3 Why my connection has been disconnected on 02/06/2019 within 4 days once the payment of Rs 199/- has been made for 30 days as per available plan and if the plan is not in existence why the said amount has not been refunded me with direction to opt with present available plans.
4 Immediate action should be initiated against the Customer Care Representative who straight way denied to disconnect my second connection and make false report that the complaint against the id 89850925 has been resolved.
Till than I will not recharge my connection further and will claim damages also for the said period. I assure the Airtel DTH service providers that if my grievances will not be sorted out within a week after receiving of my complaint, I will go and approach all the available platforms including to approach the Hon’ble Court of law not for me but for the general public against this kind of loots and forgeries with common people of India

    Hi Team,

    I have raise the request on 26th of May and that day on wards i am keep on following up but the issue not yet fixed.

    I have never seen this type of worst communication process.

    As a brand service provider, customer never expect this type of service and it is not good for you also.

    I spoke to many of the supervisors till now from that day. This Bachupally area comes under Mytri Systems and manager name is Kiran [protected]. I called on this and no response from his side and many times its been Switch off.

    Please resolve the issue as soon as possible.

      I am extremely disappointed that Airtel has disconnected my internet service.
      I have emailed [protected]@in.airtel.com several times about this matter but they have never taken steps to resolve the problem.

      Our company paid for 6 months service on the 7th December 2018 but Airtel’s system is so useless it is not able to track the payment.
      Instead of resolving the problem, they disconnect us. Very unethical practice.

        Respected sir I as a customer of Airtel mobile Kerala. I am facing no network coverage issue in indoor.I am unable to make or receive calls send sms also due to non availability of 2g coverage. And data services is not properly working.in 2g mode showing "Emergency calls only "in 3G and Lte signals are variating.I don't know how can I use this network
        Very bad experience. I had mentioned this to higher authorities of Airtel Kerala and New Delhi. But still the problem continuing.Airtel totally cheated me and other Airtel poor customers staying this location. 121 representative behaves very irresponsibly and cruelly

        Mob.[protected].l am unable to use the sim in home. No 2g coverage in indoor. I am unable to make or receive calls and unable to send or receive sms also. Barti Airtel not ready to solve the issue.198 representatives behaviour also very bad.for the last 1 year I and all the other Airtel customers are facing this issue. But Airtel not gave a 1 paisa value for the issue still this time.Very big cheating

        Respected sir I am unable to use Internet facilities in home. Unable to make or receive calls in home. No 2g coverage and also fluctuated 3G Lte coverage. I had mentioned several times about the issue to Barti Airtel Kerala. But the company not take any action for solving the issue.The 198 representatives behaviour is very bad.No responsibility to job.No value for poor customer's money and their issues. The company really cheated me and other customers staying this location

Unable to make or receive calls .No proper working of data services etc.I had mentioned Airtel Kerala and New Delhi authorities about this. But till now the problem is continuing.I don't know what I can do.How can I use this sim.Only 700m distance from my home to nearest Airtel tower. But I and all the other Airtel customers staying in this location are facing this issue very severely. Customer service representative of Airtel Kerala behaved very cruelly. And the representatives have no responsibility for customers problems and their issues.only in Kerala it happens sir.I can't send even an sms also.Please look the severity of the issue sir.Thanging you

          Sir, I am thankfull to airtel for making such a good network. Sir, but i am facing a problem of internet. Sir, i have got the message that i have received 10g data free on my account. I have also checked on my airtel app. There it is showing that i have 11.5 gb data . But i don't know even my 1.5gb daily data ends i am unable to use 10gb data. Please sir help me.

            I had port my number from other service provider to airtel and eventually i get that everyone is calling me getting the number doesn't exist or busy tone all the time, because of this i am missing my important calls. I called the costumer care several times they are not responding to my query they are just closing the request as solved. They told me to wait n wait but because of this i am missing important calls

              I am not getting 4G network on my Airtel 4G SIM since more than last 20 days. I am regularly following it up with the Airtel customer care executives regarding the same but no action has been taken up by Airtel so far.

              I found much difficulties while dealing with the customer care executives who do not have any idea how to resolve my issue. Instead different executives are giving different feedback. I am bit confused where is the problem.

              After failure with the customer care executives, i also visited airtel store hoping that my issue would get resolved. The store officials has done SIM swapping which is also not working to get 4G network on my hand set.

                Hello,
                My name is Ashu Singhal and my Mobile number is [protected]. My nearest Airtel store is in
                A12, A12A, A27, A26, North -Ex Mall Near Kadambri Cghs, Sector 9, Rohini, Delhi, 110085

                My SIM got out of provision 3 days ago and I got it replaced from this Airtel store. But till now the SIM has not been activated. I have called them again and again but they kept on delaying by saying it'll be activated within few hours, next day. But when SIM didn't get Activate, I called them again and asked then they started yelling and saying don't call again, it'll start when it has to be. They hung up the call. There is a guy named Anil, I told him that I talked to customer care on 121, he said people there are idiot and stupid and they don't know anything so it's useless to call them.
                Today also I went to them, they said SIM will be activated by 9 tonight but it didn't.
                They're so ill-mannered that they don't even know how to talk and respond.
                I would definitely like some action against such people or the services of the Airtel will be compromised eventually.

                Hope a soon response from your side.

                      My recharge of ₹48 through my airtel app is failed two time and the amount of ₹48 has been deducted from my account two times but transcation is failed both the times, so the total amount deducted from my account is ₹96, so pls refund my amount as soon as possible.
                      And I would also like to tell you that your my airtel app is the worst app i have seen ever it always shows that something went wrong due to technical issues.
                      And u all r fooling your customers.

                        I am using airtel dth services but from last week i am faceing signal issuse . After puting a service request at airtel Dth customer care they were not solving my issuse only the work they do sending me the service Engineer name & contact number and the mobile number is always switchoff . I have raised complain three times in customer care but they doesn't helping me only they say wait the Engineer will come but no one is coming to my place.

                          It all started with me requesting airtel digital TV team to assist with reallocation of my set top box since I moved to a new place. Inspiteof numerous follow ups no one turned and engineers gave reasons like I can't come today, I am on leave, etc. This matter was not escalated by the airtel support team and this while nonsense went on till 4 days. Finally I requested for disconnection of my account because this was not the service I expect. For last four days again I'm struggling to get my account disconnected and terminated completely. Customer service says u will get a call from back end team. I've been waiting for four days but have got no call. The reason I'm following up for disconnection is because the airtel sales guys keep calling four times a day and harassing to recharge the account inspite of raising request for disconnection. Airtel is beyond being bad.

                            This is Prashant and my number is [protected]. I have 5 - 6days back recharged the airtel sim with 1.5 GB data per day pack. However since last two days I am unable to get internet connectivity on my Redmi Note 4 android mobile. This is a very usual thing as this happened last month too. It is useless for me to recharge the airtel account from next time as even after prepaid payment, I dont get internet data and connectivity.
                            Please resolve the issue at the earliest.

                              There has been network issue in my region these past 20 days and whenever i'm complaining to customer care they say that it's temporary and after that they kind of fix it for 1 day and later that day the network issue again arises till I complain again and I don't think I'm paying ₹500 to keep complaining untill they get it right so please look into it as the customer service doesn't seem to care and there are people who needs internet for work

                                Hi,

                                I own Airtel DTH connection, During setup, Technician has taken full payment of Dish Antenna, Cable, Setup box, HDMI cable. But as there was MDU configured on our Apartment. He suggested that he will configure only Setup box and HDMI cable. if I am planning to shift to some other place. he will give my Dish Antenna and required cable free of cost.

                                Now, today I am planning to shift to new place. Airtel Technician asking 600 Rs. for new Antenna, and cable which was not provided to me during setup.

                                I have discuss this issue multiple times with Airtel DTH Customer care executive, every time they agree to give Antenna and Cable free of cost but Technician who they send are asking its money.

                                It was really pathetic situation where I end up. I am completely disappointed with Service Provided my Airtel DTH.

                                Let me know what I am supposed to do here.

                                  I requested in February to have my plan switched to 649 and accordingly have an add-on number cancelled. (as per the plan — 649 for one add-on). After months of follow up calls from me ... it finally was completed by the end of MAY. Accordingly, I am requesting a refund for charges above 649 for the MONTHS it took Airtel to complete this simple customer request.

                                  Also — I purchased a 30-day international roaming pack — on the phone with an Airtel rep. I was not told that the pack automatically renews. I was shocked when I saw an additional 3999 added to my subsequent bill. I requested the 3999 to be removed from the charges (I purchased 30 days —nothing else). I even told the rep I was going to another country for only ONE month. I would have cancelled if I knew it auto-renewed. also when it auto-renewed I was not informed — only by seeing the charges already placed.

                                  I am requesting according refund and bill adjustment.

                                  I have also inquired about cancelling the account completely ... but the rep refused to tell me any info and told me to wait another 5 days.

                                  I have spent HOURS AND HOURS of my life on the phone with Airtel for these very simple things.

                                  I want my requests fulfilled.

                                    I tried to recharge the number 6 times but each time it showed recharge unsuccessful & payment got deducted. Even i called customer care but they were rude & not able to provide the resolution .Now its been 4 days im not able make any outgoing calls.I want to port the number to vodafone & its happening.Really pathetic services of Airtel.That's the reason they are way behind there competitors because of there poor customer service.

                                      I have applied new Airtel DTH Connection on 6th June 2019 with SD box in poonamallee, chennai. The next day service person named Yasar ([protected]) installed HD box and said it will be activated within one hour. I asked him that I applied only for SD why are you installing HD box? He said that he was instructed to install that box only. I have chosen Cash on delivery so I payed the amount for SD Box only.

                                      From that time I am struggling with Airtel DTH Dealer Office for activation, one fellow from Airtel dealer office ([protected]) told that, it is HD box so you have to recharge 300 more for activation and he messaged me the customer ID which is [protected]. I checked with my booking and I have done recharge. After recharge, I called him twice he didn't picked up and he switched off. ([protected])

                                      Till now the number ([protected]) is in switched off mode, I called the service person Yasar ([protected]), who is harassing me with hard words.

                                      I don't know what to do with these irresponsible people. Above all I have payed the amount and listening to these actions.

                                      I made a mistake by choosing the airtel dth service. God only can save me!

                                        Dear airtel team,

                                        I am suffering from a huge problem with my airtel no. [protected]. Because with out being busy with another no. Who ever use to call me they had been informed that my no. is buzy attending another call. And it is happening from last 3 4 days. Please solve it as soon as possible. Or else i will convert the network to vodafone.
