My airtel dth plan till 4th april 2019 was annual max hd pack with validity upto 20th oct 2019. Superb plan!!
This is regarding cheating done by airtel dth customer care executives to me.
On 4th april, i called airtel dth customer service and asked mr mangesh whether i can add few channels without changing my existing package. Mr mangesh told me sure sir, you can add channels without disturbing your existing package and need to pay additional inr 12 per month for the channels you wish to add. I confirmed this assurance from him thrice during the call.
Then the executive added the new channels i wish to add.
But surprisingly i found all the previous package channels are deactivated and only the newly added channels can be seen.
So immediately i called back to airtel customer care. Ms hemaliji khatri (Senior executive) talked with me. She admitted the mistake done by mr mangesh and she offered me that they can add inr 350 to my dth account due to the inconvenience caused by wrong information provided by mr mangesh.
I replied her, please do not offer me money, rather reactivate my old package.
She told me that she is forwarding this case to expert team for resolution of this complaint and within 48 working hours i will get the resolution.
Till date i wasted calling airtel customer care for hours together, but i didn't received any satisfactory resolution.
Every call use to be starting with abcd.. And ends with we will get back to you within 24 hours with the resolution.
But everything is in vain.
The only output from all these conversations is my mental harassment caused by airtel dth customer care executives.
They are admitting their mistake in every call, but don't know what is restricting them to give me proper resolution.
The resolution offered by them is like - "they have stolen my mercedes car, and instead returning me maruti 800 car"
In every call i asked for the essential information about head/ in charge of their department against whom i can file a case in consumer court regarding this matter, but none of them provided me the information.
Copy of this email is also forwarded to some important departments for the reference which i may need in future.
In addition i am also forwarding this at directorate of public grievance, govt of india
