I've ported my no. 5 days ago from idea([protected]) to airtel. Yesterday i got the message that your sim is all set and welcome to airtel. Network is fine but when I'm calling on 59059 for televerifaction it says number is not valid, check the no. while customer care and complaint no . 121 &198 is working fine.
please help, I'm unable to do anything.

    Hello,

    I have raised a request to change my dth plan on 16th february 2019 after knowing that channels i have subscribed all cancelled due to trai latest rules. I was in call with cc executive for nearly 40minutes and i have added nearly 25 channels which includes hd channels as well. Upon confirming the amount after adding the channel, i was told the amount as 241 i confirmed to activate all. They said server issue so by eod or by tomorrow will activate.
    Then again on 17th february 2019 i called and told some channels that i added in the other days were not working and again in call for 40 minutes and i got it activated. Then i got the below msg from airtel. Attached the screen shot of the same for reference.

    After two three days i got a msg telling that my monthly rental is 481 (Not sure the exact amount). But i was told 241 three days back so i called again and raised a complaint. I was promised that from backend technical person will call me and resolve this. I got a call next day telling we need to listen to the conversation made then will confirm. Till now i haven't got a call back. From so - called - airtel - office

    Now, i got a msg telling connection is suspended and i was asked to recharge 481 rupees. Yesterday i made a call and nearly after 45 minutes and i was told it was a mistake from airtel cc executive who gave wrong information as 241.

    Again i said ok then cancel all the hd channels and give me normal channels. They told they can't add/activate all channels and they can do 3 channels per day. It means i have to wait for 10 days and also i need to pay the rent of 480.

    1. If i was told clearly the amount i shouldn't have subscribed the hd channels
    2. While adding the channels they activated in a day but when i asking for de-activation they telling 'they can't. '. It's like day light robbery what kind [censored] system is this??
    3. It was a mistake from airtel, why i should pay for the mistake?
    4. When i will get the call back from technical side. Even if so why they are not providing proper information.
    5. What about my extra 200rs added to my rental without my knowledge and false information provided by airtel cc executive or to put it in other ways amount i got cheated??

    I got a request created (No msg received with the request number promised by mr. Giriyan, id - [protected]) i insisted him to stay on line till i get a msg but he was not ready to wait and he told me the request number. Till now (14 march, 13.11 pm) no call from airtel came to me regarding this issue. Giriyan promised me that i will get call today morning.

    Note -
    I am putting this on social websites and consumer complaint forum with supervisor name and id (Not sure it is genuine). Let people know about this cheating cheap behaviour from airtel stealing 200 rs from each.

      I was not informed about premium charges,
      When i called 1860 its cheating with client when he is provided unlimited postpaid scheme,

      Suddenly they charge in bill its unfair,
      No message to customer about what details they have about 1860 nos,

      Without prior information how company can add charges in regular billing cycle i shocked when i saw my bill,

      This is new style of fraud with post paid customers,

      Once they have committed free service to out going how come they change premium rates.
      Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
      I pay my airtel postpaid bill today for the no. [protected] through Airtel Mobile App. But payment receipt has not been received till now. The bill in enclosed herewith.

          3 days back my sim abruptly stopped working and after relentless efforts to get some useful help out of the customer care, who as usual could provide no useful information, i had to make a visit to the airtel gallery.
          I visited the airtel gallery at 1:00 pm, galleria where one of your staff memebers, informed me that i would need to get a duplicate sim. He gave me 1 sim card first and filled out the form after which he said there was an issue in the card he gave me and then gave me another on. He assured me my card would start working by 9pm that evening. I inserted the sim and showed him that the network indicator says "no sim" but he insisted it was because the sim hadn't been activated yet.

          I waited until 9pm that night but no network, the next entire day without network, i went to the airtel gallery where the employee madeup a whole new story about them having to courier documents from to malad and that it would take until 9pm that day to get activated. He also had the audacity to tell me it might not even happen that day. I waited until 7pm and visited the gallery again where they tried to foll me again. I had to put my foot down for them to check in more detail which is when they found out all the details had already been updated. They inserted the sim in an age old nokia black white phone where the sim worked but the sim did not work in a latest phone. It randomly worked in 1 samsung phone and did not in another.
          The employees now had the audacity to tell me it is my problem since they already gave the sim to me. And if the sim is not working i should get my handset checked. I told them to put another sim in my handset, which worked, proving it wasnt a handset issue.

          These horrendous people now tell me tat for their mistake, i must go through this entire process all over again and very arrogantly said he still doesnt know if it is going to work or not.

          Is this the kind of service airtel is going to provide. Is this the fast network that airtel boasts about. Keeping a customer without network for no fault of the customer for more than 3 days and giving no help in that regard.

          I want this matter escalated and i am not going to take this harrassment lightly. Lying to the customer, making a fool out of them, ganging up against them as what the powai employees did, this is not something i am willing to let go of.

          Why should i wait another 24 hours for a mistake that your employee made when he gave me a faulty sim card? Why should i have to waste my time and effor and energy visiting those liars at the gallery and getting mentally harrassed by them.

            My recent bill dated 9th mar is due for rs. 10562/= which includes heafty call charges for usage in maldives even though i activated intl roaming pack of rs. 1499/= as told by airtel customer service team and the call min/sms usage was way under the free min allowed in the pack.

            On 25th feb 2019, i called airtel 121, regarding activation of international roaming for srilanka and maldives for 10days on my mobile no [protected]. Airtel customer care asked me to activate 10 day international roaming pack for rs. 1499/= from zone a using my airtel app. They confirmed that this pack will be applicable for both countries with 250 outgoing min to india and unlimited incoming min free. Accordingly i activated this pack on 26th feb and travelled to srilanka and maldives from 27 feb - 7 mar. But now, i am being charged heavily for calls/sms made while in maldives, even though usage well under 100min.

            I called to airtel customer care on 10 mar 2019 but they denied to correct the charges, but then i escalated to their disconnection team.

            Airtel "disconnection escalation team" ms anupriya and mr. Saran spoke to me on 11 mar 2019 and agreed that geographically srilanka and maldives are in the same group/zone but i was given incorrect information by airtel during the call made to 121 on 25th feb that the international roaming pack of rs. 1499/- covers both countries. Ms. Anupriya and mr. Saran also agreed that this billing is incorrectly done due to wrong information given by airtel customer care, but they are not authorised to waive off the incorrect charges for maldives and hence asked me to email to 121.[protected]@airtel.com and request complete waive off of the maldives call/sms charges. I wrote this email to them on 11 mar and also wrote to their ceo desk "ceo. [protected]@airtel.com" requesting to waive off maldives charges, but no one from airtel is willing to help and take responsibility of giving incorrect information to customer and then charging him incorrectly.

            Since i was given incorrect information by airtel customer care team as a result of which i am being incorrectly charged for calls/sms in maldives, i request you to please waive off all those incorrect charges also considering that i am a long term loyal airtel post paid customer.

              recharge using, sbi rewards but plan didn't get activated

              It has been 3 days since i recharged using sbi rewards for rupees 399 to my airtel number. And i recieved msg from sbi rewards that my recharge is successfull. But my plan didnt get activated, and airtel states my incoming services will be terminated from 16th of march that is in 2 days. I tried calling airtel customer care like 121, [protected], but none of them helped me. Please resolve it....

              I ported my airtel sim from tata docomo karnataka circle to airtel karnataka. I was given a new sim and was told to insert it when the old one gets inactivated. When my old sim got deactivated, i inserted my new as instructed. But it doesn't show any network. Now both my sims don't work. Its already 9+ hours and i have restarted my phone several times but still no network. Please do the needful

                I ported my airtel sim from karnataka circle to odisha circle. I was given a new some and was told to insert it when the old one gets inactivated. When my old sim got deactivated, i inserted my new as instructed. But it doesn't show any network. Now both my sims don't work. Its already 7-8 hours and i have restarted my phone several times but still no network. This is so frustrating.

                  I have paid 1767 on 27 feb 2019, for broadband connection but i have not got my connection from last 12 days and they are denying that you cannot get the connection because of rent agreement papers of flat. They have not told me about this before taking my money. My caf number is[protected]. I have paid online and i have asked about the refund of my money and they are not responding back. I have got a call from a number [protected] who provided me caf number for connection but after that he talked very badly and not responding my calls. I have paid my money for broadband but cannot get connection.

                    Call forwarding is not happening, since the day i have ported my number to airtel.in all the other companies like vodafone, jio, idea call forwarding is properly done. And in this, it takes 30seconds and then call forwarding is done. My customer who is calling is not going to wait, why is it so in airtel? And it was then the executive should inform me earlier, i clearly asked him that the call forwarding is my main motive, and he said yes it will properly happen.

                      Pathetic experience. Your team is not capable to handle such calls your dnc service which i had already activited on my phone ([protected]) is simply worst, coz i am still getting promotional calls and msgs from different sources. I had spoken to one of your tele exe ravi i guessd, even after giving him a no i. E [protected] am gettig so many calls. Your tele exe is telling me to do a police complaint for that no. Which is not expected atleast from airtel. I dont have
                      All the time to do so. If airtel is not going to take strong action on given number, then including me and my office team will switch to another service provider. I think we did a biggest mistake. I want an instant revert from airtel otherwise i may switch soon.

                        I just got off the phone where i was complaining about my broadband not working properly...

                        I asked the executive to provide me with a solution to fix my broadband's frequent disconnections and frequent speed and ping drops while gaming..

                        The executive gave her name as arushi and was very rude... She intended to obtain the admin access to my modem which contained information on the domain i had hosted there... If you are from airtel, why do you want me to give it to you.. You guys already have it..

                        All i want is my connection to be fixed and at least she owe's me an apology.

                          Dear airtel team and nodal officer,
                          Is this what the treatment you are giving to your valued customer who is using this number last 10 yrs and fan of airtel. I have not used any other network other than airtel in my life time. But now, i am feeling that i being looted.
                          I received a bill of rs.6785/- for march 2019 which is not acceptable. I just want my number to be activated for getting otp's and don't want anything. Ready to pay monthly rent what ever i am paying and also asked about any other better packages. Hence, i called multiple times to 121 before i come to united states and asked about packages and also visited your customer relation ship centers (Ramamurthy nagar-benagaluru - i had a horrible experience). I conveyed my unhappiness to that customer care guy also (A fat black chap-not remembered the name), the way how they talk, attitude, body language etc, i felt very bad.

                          And coming to 121: pl check the call recordings of my number#[protected]. How many times i called and asked the suggestion for my requiremenet, the conversation between myself and customer care and final conclusion. Pl check the call recording.

                          No where they explained me clearly, made me frustrated, i observed that some thing they are hiding everywhere whether it is 121 or customer care. So tried my best to get clarity. Infact, asked customer care girl to give to her supervisor also, finally she told me that you need to pay only the monthly rent as per you package, don't call, don't send sms and don't lift the incoming call after going there. I said ok, pl see the call recording.

                          I never aware that you guys have activated international daily pack which is costing 649 per day. This is not good yar. I am 10 years old customer and fan of airtel.

                          Dear nodal officer: request your immediate action. Pl check my call recordings of 14th feb, 2019 (Or between 13 to 16th) and help me. It is really paining of paying rs.6785/-. Still if you want me to pay, i need my customer care call recordings. Pl initiate to push them.
                          Even now, i don't want any felicity to this number, be it india or where ever, i need this number in an active mode, just to get otp's.
                          Hope you understand my pain. Pl help me.

                            Hi,

                            Our family traveled to maldives on 6th december 2018 and activated the international roaming for 3 of our family members. Over the call, i was informed that there are no specific packages for maldives and i would be charged rs. 75 per minute for incoming and rs. 150 per minute for outing calls. Where as when we received our bill for the current and the upcoming months we were charged rs. 200 per minute for incoming and rs. 400 per minute for outing. Total amount which was charged for us is rs. 27, 000+. I have registered a complaint for the same on 11 jan 2019 and i have been following up with the customer care since then and they have failed to provide a resolution for this. It is no joke to play with consumers time and money, request you to take strict actions against those who are looting the end customers and provide us a solution.

                              Hello,

                              I went to airtel store sector 120, amrapali market, noida to port my 3 vodafone numbers to airtel and placed the request. Today i received document verification failed message for my all numbers. When i contacted number of same store and asked about this, then executive priya and her colleague started misbehaving on call. They threatened me also that they will not let my numbers to be ported to vodafone now.. Now when airtel is spending lots of money in advertising and creating good image, their executives are considering themselves boss and taking customers for granted. There are lot of options available in market and i can switch to any other provider now.

                              I ask airtel to take action against these executives now and inform me. After this only i will go for port to airtel now.

                              Hope to see positive response from airtel and this forum.

                                Sir i ported my sim from vodafone to airtel. And i have inserted my sim in phone and it shows airtel network but when i call 59059 for verification my personal details call automatically disconnected after some time.
                                Sir i have to face my problem due to this reason. So please resolve my problem.

                                  I am an existing customer with airtel and i own a simcard and a landline with a broadband connection. Yesterday on 12/03/2019 i wanted to add one more connection in bhopal and applied for the same in your online portal. Promptly i got a revert from your sales team in bhopal today on 13/03/2019 at around 8:30 am.

                                  The sales persons i spoke to were upendra vishwakarma & ali basit.
                                  They explained the plans available, the documents required and told me after
                                  I am done with submitting my documents and plan subscription he can send the technician
                                  For the installation.

                                  To my surprise, the moment i finished talking to him, i get a whatsapp message
                                  From the number +91-[protected] asking me my address and wanting to install and check the line etc immediately within 5 minutes or he will go away.
                                  I told the person that i have spoken to upendra and i wasn't informed about
                                  Any technician coming immediately, beforehand, and hence he will have to wait till evening.

                                  The moment i informed him all this, the person mentioned, with mobile no. [protected],
                                  Called himself technical executive from bharti airtel started hurling filthy abuses at me.
                                  For few moments i could not grasp what is happening, so i asked who is he talking to.
                                  And then he told me in his filthy abusive language that he's talking to me and continued
                                  With his abusive language for many seconds without stopping..

                                  I am shocked and amazed by this kind of behavior from airtel technical person.
                                  When i told him i'll take action against this behavior, he asked me my salary and
                                  Told me that he makes 1.5 lakhs plus per month and that he knows all political leaders
                                  And that he can do whatever he wants.

                                  Within minutes he calls again trying to say that he was not talking to me and that he was abusing his airtel sales team. Refusing to believe him,
                                  I told him i will file a police complaint so then he messaged me saying sorry &
                                  To forget the issue as he was very angry when he hurled those abuses.

                                  Following all this i tried to contact the management in bhopal and i have been getting no response from them since morning. I have been told to wait and i waited for the whole day and no one from the management has even contacted me.
                                  I am being told people are very busy.

                                  I was specifically told that mr. Nitin verma will get back to me within minutes
                                  And later i was told mr. Dheerendra will speak with me, but even after hours passed no response from their end.

                                  I have then reported this sickening incident to t. R. A. I. Consumer helpline.

                                  It was the worst incident i have had to experience from a service
                                  And the most disgusting one early in the morning by bharti airtel.
                                  Its a shame you airtel has to keep such executives in their team.

                                  I request strong action to be taken against the concerned people.
                                  Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

                                      My father debranjan majumdar is sick and unable to go outside. Yesterday his airtel sim stopped working and customer care suggested to get a replacement sim card. I went to the airtel store near my residence with authorization letter from my father, original sim card and relevent documents (Voter id card, pan card, aadhaar card, electricity bill of my father, my voter id card) along with attested photo copies.

                                      The airtel store refused to issue duplicate sim and demanded to bring my father in person. The person in the store did not even bother to check the documents.

                                      I called up airtel customer care again and they informed me that if authorization letter is provided replacement sim can be issued, however they said they cannot inform the store.

                                      The airtel store owner refused to provide his name or registration number, so i cannot provide here.

                                      Why duplicate sim will not be issued with authorization letter and relevant documents?

                                      Based on this rule it seems airtel as a company does not that elders who are bedridden and sick, neither do they care how the stores under their brand operate.
                                      Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
