I recently opted for portability from tata docomo to airtel. I’m using iphone 5s, when i went to local airtel distributor head office then sold me a 4g sim saying i would get 3g data on my iphone. It’s been 3days i didn’t see 3g on my phone, it shows on and off “e” and also it shows no service. Though it shows “e” never gets connected to the internet, tried couple of times reaching customer care. They answered change the sim into another phone, then i have changed the same sim into my iphone 6, but the issue was not resolved.

    Hi my name is disha i am using airtel post paid connection from more than 6 months now and my credit limit is 3600 but this month before 4 days i received a message where in it says my current outstanding bill is 15200 stating your services will be stopped and today airtel has stopped my services with out any intimation if my credit limit is set to 3600 then why airtel didn't stop or notified me when i exceeded my credit limit they shoul have duped my services their only

    I can not afford to pay such height bill of 15000rs
    Airtel are providing phytic services ever month charging higher bill then plan and this month it's just too much
    This is mental harresment and today because of barred services i was not able to do my job properly
    Airtel is making me mentally sick
    Please help me with this issue i am really u able to understand why airtel didn't stopped my services when i exceeded my credit limit

      Worst customer support
      I hold an airtel number, which converted from postpaid to prepaid on 30th jan 2018and thereafter, i am not able to make any recharge, hence no outgoing and no internet.
      Its been 10 days now. I have tried all possible options but of no use.
      The airtel gallery guys are good for nothing, they do not know anything about their daily work.
      I contacted customer care on 121 and 198. After big argument with junior executives, i then spoke to some seniors like ankit pandey and shrikant nepali.
      They all gave me false commitment of 48hrs thrice (48 * 3 = 6 days).
      Then as a last resort, i emailed to nodalofficer. [protected]@in. Airtel.com.
      From there again three different people spoke to me (Ashwini k, macherla akhila, akhil shaganti) and all are still giving me false commitment of another 48hrs.
      I am really very frustrated with this behaviour. I cannot make any outgoing calls nor use internet. It is affecting my business.

      My one question to airtel - does it take 10+ days to resolve one issue? Is your technical team so weak? Do you have any sla for service request?

      Also, i checked on consumer forum websites and many customers who converted post to prepaid got this issue, and still airtel has no answer to this.

      Really worst service by such a old company.

        Sir, i can’t have access to my airtel prepaid mobile number. Perhaps it is deactivated as it was not in use for sometime.

        Now i am facing problem because it shows that this number do not exists.

        I want my number to be reactivated as soon as possible. Kindly help me to get out of it. My airtel prepaid mobile number is [protected].

          I applied for a connection on 2nd dec and paid rs 500. The airtel dealer first said that it'll take rs500 to install connection, then a month later, he said that since it's fiber cable, total rs1000 will be installation charges. So i made the second transaction of rs 500 on 18 jan.

          I have since sent them my bank statements and transaction ids. But still they were saying that it's invalid.
          Also, they are asking me to go to my bank ask for charge back. Indian banks don't provide chargeback.

          Why take money before providing connection?

            I deposited money in my airtel wallet (Airtel payment bank)
            Unfortunately i forgot all my credentials (Username, password)
            And i forgot mpin. It's been one week i'm facing this issue.

            But the customer care service members are not responding to my questions.

            I gave the credentials which i gave while taking my sim and they are saying that the credentials are wrong.

            I even confirmed it with airtel office members.

            And in my airtel app also i can see my name.

            Don't know what is the issue.

            Please do needful

              Please close my no. The reason for this is that i am not satisfied with the service provided to me from the time i migrated from prepaid to post paid. Even when i tried to convert it back into prepaid. I went to showroom at shopian. They told me to go sgr. Sonwar. The persons at sonwar sent me to rajbagh showroom. Rajbagh showroom asked me to go gogjibag showroom. Thus my week was wasted. Then i tried to close my connection but i was assured to get all the benifits. But after one month same bill same amount. This time i am asked to wait for one more month. Keeping in view all this once again request u to close my connection

                  I have been facing online recharge issue from april-2017, every time they takes complaints and says it will get resolved with in 48hrs, but they never resolved my recharge issue. When ever i recharge amount get deducting and after 7 to 10 day getting back. Airtel is one of waste service provider, in my native place we gets only airtel signal so i am baring with this.

                  in total I have given more than 40 complaints, every time it went to higher level. All I listen is sorry sir we will be resolving your issue ASAP. Initially it did not come to me other wise I could have already resolved long time back like all others are lazy members and she/he only working.

                      I have submitted requests for prepaid to postpaid transfer twice and have been charged twice, but till now the transfer is not completed.
                      The sim which i am trying to migrate to postpaid, is not on my name, but the sim is with me for past 6 years. The airtel office said that if i give them my aadhaar card copy, my company id proof they can migrate the sim in my name and then change that to postpaid and charged rs.400 for the process, but its been more than 6 months and nothing has happened till now, neither the sim is on my name and neither the sim has been migrated to postpaid.

                      Please help.

                        I was post-paid user of airtel but due to network issue i switch the number in vodaphone. I have pending bill of rs 499+gst. I had word with nodle office share by contat center team. He had promisesd 50% discount on bill amount. I am ready to pay rest amount. But they do not proceed the discount. I have redceived serval call for payment i informed same to them they told me they get back but no one turned up. Today i received the call from legal department nd mr deeepak joshi warned me to pay 700 rs. Reueted kindly help to resolve this i m still ready to pay 50%of amount. Its failuire from airtel they unable to resolve my issue.

                          Hi, my airtel app shows me new offer of 199 plan. But i am unable to activate that plan with my main balance. I hve balance of rs217. I called customer service for help but they told me to recharge for rs 199 and cant be activated with mobile balance.in fact they have told me to use it via calling. Why should i spend money in calling when there are lots o[censored]nlimited calling plans with data are available.. How ridiculous this suggetion is.. Why should i spend money from my main account via calling at 30ps/min..
                          Airtel is not now customer friendly.
                          I think it's better to change service... I am totally upset..

Sir mere village me 2g network ata tha lekin 1 january 2018 se airtel ne data speed 3g karne ki jagah sidha 4g network chalu kar diya h. Jis karan jo log 3g smartfone use kar rhe he un logo ko koi speed nahi mil rhi h. Unke sath dhoka kiya ja rah h. Isliye apse nivedan he ki hamare gram me 2g ke bad 3g fir uske bad 4g network diya jaye. Thanks sir

                              I have submitted my request for changing present post paid connection to prepaid (448 - 82 days plan) and the same was given to airtel showroom on 5th evening by 6 pm and i was told that deactivation will happen in 48 hours and after this to insert the new prepaid sim and after tele-verification the new prepaid sim will get activated. All this will happen by 48 hours was informed but now 5 days have passed and till date no response from airtel. When i daily call airtel customer service i am given daily that the request is updated yesterday and will take 96 hours, this is the same answer daily they are giving and daily they say got updated yesterday and will take 96 hours. If they say daily that updated yesterday i do not know when the actual day will come.
                              All the customer service executives who attend the call are very harsh and reply if anything take up with management and go to chennai regional office. Is this the way they handle the customer.
                              I wanted to know what is the status of my plan post paid to prepaid change.

One day my sim stop working and this is my prepaid no. Of haryana circle where i was posted six month before but now i am i pune circle. To my surprise airtel alloted my no. To someone else although i have wattsup on that no. As well as airtel money and rs 2000 in my airtel wallet also. Till date i am waiting to activate my airtel postpaid sim. How you pepole do to anyone this is wrong ethically as well as legally also. I had given my this no. To my offce and to all. I will complaint in police or activate my sim on my name.

                                  Such a worst experience i have with airtel... I turned on my internet at 11.20pm and was on a call from 11.30pm to 12.05am when the call ended.. I tried accessing the internet but i couldn't and it showed my internet balance as 0 this happened to me soo many times can be said as 3 days once... How would my 1gb drain out in just 5 minutes beyond that when i tried calling customer care there is no option to speak to the officials

                                    I downloaded airtel payment app on 6 february 2018 and added 2000 rs/- in it from my bank. After that whenever i am trying to do any transaction i am getting error "debit for this account is not allowed". Also i am not able to send money to my bank account it always says "sorry imps on this bank is not working" for two of my bank accounts. Also there is no proper customer care it is only an automated reply from computer. After sending a mail to [protected]@airtelbank.com 2 days ago all i am getting is we will get back to you as soon as possible. But nothing resolved as of yet my money is freezed on airtel payment bank app and i am not able to take it out anyway possible. I will wait till 1 month if nothing resolved i will lodge a complain in rbi against these fraudsters under ombudsman scheme.

                                      My village name is nidigatla, and it's in andhra pradesh state. I have given so many complaints on 2g coverage on open network still those complaints are not resolved and our village is low coverage 2g area i. E., on outdoor or outside of the house on keypad mobiles only showing 2 points and on android mobiles only showing 3 to 4 points and on indoor or inside of the house on keypad mobiles only showing 0 to 1 point and on android mobiles 2 to 3 points finally outdoor and indoor services is not good. My brother is airtel customer and father is also a customer of airtel with two airtel numbers and i am also customer of airtel and i have so many complaints on open network and i called so many times network centers and there not taking complaint seriously and they are not giving respect to customers and solve the problem immediately otherwise our airtel family shifting to another network.

                                        Airtel call operators are not giving respect to customers and when there is no main balance or internet balance they are not taking complaint request about network coverage and they are saying nonsense matter. For example in my village 2g coverage is low and i said take the complaint solve the complaint but they are saying once check your sim on airtel store or you have no main or internet balance on phone kindly recharge it after call me. Those are the words they are saying and supervisors and call operators don't have
                                        Minimum knowledge about network coverage.
