I am writing this email in response to my complaint regarding network issues am facing in my location and every where i travel. I spoke with different customer care persons but all of them promised like it will be resolved in 3 days, 1 days and even the last agent told that it will be resolved in 2 days and i will get a call from network or backend team but those 2 days are over and i didnt get any call nor my issue is resolved. I am facing this from past 6 months from the time i bought my sim. Even i took duplicate sim and i followed all instructions given by customer care persons like putting the sim in different phones and changing slots but nothing worked out. The signals are very fluctuating and there wont be complete signals available and due to this call drop will happen and when i turn on internt i get only 3g even if the area covers 4g. I am very unsatisfied with this and the way custom care people are handling this issue. I told one of the person to take a complaint he told he will but he didnt. This is person id with whom i spoke for the last time that is 2 days back "[protected]". I have got messages from 247 for facing network issues. Nothing has been done till now. So am raising a complaint.

This is regarding network issues with my airtel postpaid connection. My number is [protected] Few weeks back I raised a complaint and airtel technical team followed up well and promised to resolve this issue by 3 days and even they admitted that there is network signal fluctuations happening. But now even after a week its not resolved.Its not occuring in a particular location but in most of the locations its happening and cant complain each time for each location as they are good and well developed locations in bangalore where this network signal fluctuations are happening. Its time to expose Airtel disppaointed service to consumers in socical media and whereever possible. This is my 2nd complaint in consumer forum. Nothing will be resolved just they are eating our money and providing worst service even after following very patiently. They cant provide proper service in bangalore and how come they give service in leh and ladak. Just making people fool. Will start a program to expose airtel scam and fooling people.

    I'm one of your customer for airtel prepaid from last 8-9 months. I have great experience with you earlier but from last some days approx from last 20 - 25 days i observed many issues regarding your networks. Most of the time my call is not connected to any one and i have also 1 no. Of vodafone at the same time when i dialed from the vodafone call connect easily without any problem. Because of this i have to used my voadfone no, instead of airtel. This is not an update of any particular area this condition is belongs to any where and some of m, y friends also face this issue. As airtel is the no. Brand and i doesn't expect this type of service from you. Please check as update

      I have lost my phone yesterday afternoon. Incall airtel customer service today at 10am to block my sim card. An executive named pravin.
      1. He denied to block my number because i couldn't give him the exact detail of my last recharge. Though the sim card owner name n address matched. And not only the last recharge but last lapu recharge he wanted. Whereas, i have told him that since long now i have been recharging online and sometimes i may take credit.. And the usual recharge amount is rs100/200. But mr. Pravin was least understanding n helpful.
      2. He was very rude as i asked / tried to convince him that yes i am the rightful owner of the sim card i want to block n kindly do so, so that it can't be misused.
      3. Clearly denied to block it.
      4. My point is, if my name n address matched... Is it not enough? How can someone remember the last lapu recharge or any recharge for that sake, if it is not memorable or significant for some reason?
      5. Why was there no alternative ways to verify if i was i... N i was not lying.
      6. N why the hell will someone block some number? Wont that fraud know that the actual owner can get that same number dim later?
      7. And as airtel have denied to block my sim.. If anyway my number is misused who will be responsible? And simply don't understand why can't you block it just bcz the last recharge i m unsure of? This is ridiculous!

      For the first time now i have found airtel to be so unsupportive /unfriendly to the customer. While all my family members have been using airtel all the while.
      If you look into this matter i will be glad!
      N no customer needs to go through this almost an add on harassment because we approach the service only when we are in a tiff already. N i do have problem with mr. Pravin/anyone who does this kind of behaviour.

            Dear airtel team,
            I have lost my mobile. With airtel sim last night 7/02/2018. Please block my number as i have my bank accounts connected with the airtel sim from many years. I dont want to make anyone misuse of my sim, as it is highly important for me and my family. My mobile is stolen but sim card contained all details of my banks.
            Please do it asap.

              For the past few weeks the 4g hotspot is not working in roaming. It only blinks red signal whenever i switch it on. I did recharge the internet packs and also i have recharged the sim with some top-ups. I tried switching it off and on many times but it's not working. Earlier it used to work somehow in roaming but now it only blinks red signal and couldn't get any signal. Kindly provide me with effective solution asap.

              I am also facing the same issue. No proper response from customer support
              Just reset your dongle (holding both Power and Wifi buttons for 3 seconds- in my device), then it will work fine.
              I bhought my dongle in Chennai and tried to use it in Mumbai. Faced the issue but resetting simply solved the problem.

                Hi,
                I'm trying to switch my airtel number to other network. But i received "message not sent". I tried in different handset to send the message but i'm getting same message. When i contact customer care they asked me enable premium messaging service, but no use because it was already enabled. I'm facing this issue in all 4 airtel numbers in home we use.

                  6 month ago i had submitted my complaint on airtel cause i did not have to get network so i did not make any call so but still 6 months airtel person tells issue will be solved within 4 days but till yet i did not get solution and the customer care people does not have manner they don't have to talk sense with costumer so it's my humble request please solve my issue
                  And for god grass don't do like this and don't cheat to people otherwise your company will not stay a long time

                    I am currently having an airtel postpaid connection with rs. 499 monthly rental plan. I had given a request on 06.02.2018 for porting my postpaid connection to prepaid connection.
                    In this regard a local reference's mobile number was sought for verification which was duly provided.
                    However, today i received a message stating that "dear customer, verification with your local reference for airtel mobile [protected] could not be completed successfully. Your request for new activation has been closed."
                    On enquiring with my local reference i was informed that he never received any such verification call.
                    I have already raised a complaint regarding the undue hardship caused to me for porting my postpaid connection to prepaid. Please clarify the status of my request at the earliest.

                      Hi,

                      I am using airtel postpaid sim and i have made excess payment of Rs.12000 on 29th Dec 2017. So I raised the request to refund the excess payment and still now I didnt get the clear status of that request and whenever i called to customer care, they are asking me to give 2 working days to process the request. But days are passed and am not getting any clarification. Kindly do the needful as soon as possible.

                      Many of the airtel team member said like the refund will be credited within 14 working days. But still now I am in position where I was started and I am paying the interest for that Rs.12000.

                      May I have the guaranteed date for the Rs.10000 to refund?

                            I have purchased a 448 plan for my prepaid number on Nov26th. The transaction said it was not successful. so I did the recharge again the next day and it went through. When I checked my bank account...it deducted for both unsuccessful and successful transaction.

                            I called customer care immediately and they said that they cannot reverse the amount to my bank but they can give me a credit in my account for me to use once the 448 package validaity is over. Validity expired on Feb 5th and now I called to recharge using the credit and they said there is no credit and it doesnt show that I talked to the lady manager and no details. The floor manager in spendid towers, begumpet was so rude that he refused to connect to his manager and refused to look int othis issue. He continuosly said the same statement "i understand your issue and nothing can be done and no one can do anything". I really need this resolved as it is merely a mistake on airtel's part.

                              I am Sreenivasarao VV from Hyderabad.I am using the Airtel number 9xxxxxx180.I observed it in my area the Airtel network is not good.We are unable to browse the data.We checked data speed using TRAI, Network Velocity App.The data Speed is to bad in my area.We are getting 0.1Kbps speed at any time.The published Airtel is the best network in India.But in the real-time Airtel is not the good network.In the Metro city Hyderabad the network is not good.198 and 121 are helpless.They are not responding to customer issues.They have used 198 Toll-free services for marketing.I never choose the Airtel and never suggest to anybody to use the Airtel Network.Kindly refund my money as soon as possible.

                                I have issue is regarding my billing amount for subjected 4G Wifi Router.
                                I have paid initial amount of 4500 including router & 3 or 4 months advance.

                                In spite of raising 4 complaints[protected], 77292404 and so on...all these request were closed without anyone visiting to my house), issue regarding network in my house area was not resolved.
                                I am getting 0.2 mbps whereas promised was 20-24 Mbps.
                                This was also shown to one of your representative from Technical team who gave false promise to resolve this issue within 24 hrs.This was in period of July to Sept 2017.

                                There was also wrong billing amount sent to me which I got corrected with Complaint number # 79436006 on[protected] .
                                I also requested to disconnect my account due to "Pathetic service " by Airtel.
                                BUT It was "once again" assured me that all changers which are unnecessary forced on me will be waived off and my issues regarding network will be resolved in 24 Hrs.
                                It was also assured me guy from technical team will Visit to me. BUT as usual no one turn to my house to check the issue.

                                Once of your senior Representative ( Palak & Kalpesh floor superviser ) assured me all this.

                                I was asked to pay 359.10 Rs & rest were waived off ...I paid this amount in sept 2017 only.

                                I was surprised that the package they told me was not same which was told to me by Sales-person from Airtel(Uddav: [protected])

                                Now funniest thing is, I received bill of 2, 168.62 for below period.
                                Bill period: 08-Oct-2017 to 07-Nov-2017
                                Due amount*: 2, 168.62
                                "I was told that this is 3 months +1 advance "'
                                I was told that service will improve with new tower installation in my area.
                                Hence I paid 3+1 advance.

                                This does not stop here. I got one more bill of 2776.48/- next month.
                                Now Airtel appellate.[protected]@in.airtel.com is saying that "Therefore for the bill dated[protected] and[protected] you charged month rental of Rs.1995/-."

                                My understanding is my Basic Package( refer screenshot attached), I have to pay 1500 Rs for 3 months( + Service charge, this is what was told to me), then how come "one" month charges can be 2168.62 Rs, when I am not using it at all.

                                Now, I raised to disconnection request even after paying advance rental .Airtel is asking me payment for duration after closure request is raised.
                                As I have already made payment 2, 168.62 ( Nov 17 -Payment done for 3 months advance) .Hence Airtel should refund me my money which I paid as advance rental for Jan 2018.

                                My issues with Airtel are;
                                1.False promises.
                                2.False commitments.
                                HYPERLINK "http://3.IT"3.IT department is Useless .
                                4.Network is pathetic ( why you call yourself India's best Network !)
                                5. False bill amounts without any clarity.
                                6.Biggest problem is your sales person's provide wrong information & hide lot of thing while selling devices.

                                I am surprise how can such a biggest network can "consistently perform such a Pathetic way " !
                                Do you guys really review the call center & IT guys calls, DO you really crosscheck the bills that you sent to customer without checking the package.

                                  My mobile number - [protected] in the name of kundan kumar, on dated 31.01.2018 i had lost my number and i had taken new sim card of the same number metioned earlier by submitting them police complaint copy in our local airtel store dated 03.02.2018. But the insurance provider needs sim barring form duly singed & stamp by the service provider but the service provider is not helping in any manner for the same. For the above issue my insurance provider is not approving my claim. Please help me in this regard.

                                    It is not enough that you send me, and permit others to send to me many advertisements that i do not want. You have also installed programs and services onto my phone that i do not want. Now you have started billing me on my cell phone for namkeenpack for two months and automatically deducting your charge from what i pre-pay to you. I have not ordered that service. I do not know what it is. Stop whatever service to me that namkeeppack is and refund to me the money you have extorted.

                                      I bought a new postpaid sim yesterday for some official purpose. I was told by he executive that my sim will be activated by the end of the day. But nothing has been done yet. I called the customer support several times complaining about the same but nobody really helped also one of them disconnected my call. Sad to say but pathetic service. The verification agent says everything was done from his end and asked me to contact the person who sold me the sim. Again that person also has no idea what the current status is. I am damn pissed now. And regret on choosing airtel. As i have already paid the amount, either get the my money refunded or get the sim activated asap as i am suffering huge losses.

                                        I want say that my landline no. Is [protected], also using broadband with this no. I had complained yesterday for network issue they told me that problem will get resolved till 6 pm, but when i called for same at then they told me that it will be resolved at 11pm. But till now it has been not resolved. They are disappointing us. Now i had called again then they told me again that it will be resolved by 6 pm. Whats going on kindly check it and resolve the problem in 2 hr urjently otherwise i had to take strict action.
