    I recently converted my airtel connection to prepaid from postpaid, thereafter i am not able to recharge online.

    I tried calling customer care many times, they don't respond to my calls. Initially my call used to get connected to airtel postpaid staff, they told it isn't their concern and told me to speak with prepaid staff (Which is not happening, since my call is not going to prepaid staff).

    Till now i tried called airtel people nearly about 30 times with no help. I got frustrated and tried porting to another network, but has to wait for 90 day period to do the same.

    Please suggest any help...

      On the morning of 26th december 2017, i planned to recharge with the plan of 448 (Unlimited package), i already had balance of rs/- 50 in my airtel wallet.
      So loading with another 400 will help me to recharge the pack.

      To do it i loaded 400 rs the wallet through debit card mode and first few times the transaction has been failed. After a few tries i fed-up and decided to do the recharge later. But a few minutes later i received a push-notification from airtelapp saying "your last transaction has been unsuccessfull. Please click to continue the recharge of rs. 400". I clicked the notification and it guided me to the payment page directly and this time the payment was successfull.

      After successfull recharge only i realized that the recharge was done for manin-balance instead of airtelwallet. I immediately called the customer care service and informed about this stating that there is a bug in your airtelapp, but no one seems to understand and provide a solution to the problem instead they keep pointing their fingers on each others (The prepaid team - payment banks team and payment banks team- prepaid team).

      After 6 calls i got frustrated and pointed me to the next level of escalation "the nodal team". I explained clearly and slowly as much as possible to them, at last they said there nothing can be done from our side and we took it as a complaint and will look into it and gave me one option to solve the issue
      1. Wait for few days till the complaint solved to get the refund.
      2. Recharge with another 100rs to make the main balance to 450 and do a recharge of 448 with the main balance.

      Next day 27th dec 2017, there is no response no sms no replies from anyone and i couldn't use my number to call anyone. So i decided to do the 2nd option and recharged with another 150 ft and tried recharging with the main balance and i was unable to do it, after so many attempts i called the customer care again and informed everything and they simply said they cannot recharge from main balance for this 448 pack.

      I got really angry and told them that this was their idea and explained what the nodal team said, then the customer care executive told that the recharge will be done within 4pm today and hung the call. I waited till 9pm and no recharge has been done, so i called again and asked and they said it will be done for sure before 12am for sure.

      Then i slept and waked up today only to find there was no recharge was done and nothing had happened as promised. I again called the customer care and this time they saying the request was not submitted properly yesterday and today it will be done before 4pm for sure and put me in the state of the same boat as yesterday.

      Now i'm realizing i wasted 2days for this and i'm sure this 3rd day is also going to wasted. The only mistake i did was not porting my airtel to some other network.

      As I told above, today also I wasted my time because they asked me to wait upto 4PM ans I did just to know that nothing happened like they promised.

      So I called the customer care at 198 again at 5.30PM only to hear the same story and they're saying it can't be done now give us time, . I told them I want a solution right now the junior executive transferred the call to a senior executive he also told the same answer and asked me to wait until 02nd Feb 2018.

      I'm really frustrated, please help me in this regard.

      I called the Nodal Team to finally ask then whether they can provide a solution or not, but they also asking me to wait till tomorrow and also to write an email summarizing everything again to appellate team.

      I hope I get help from raising a complaint on this forum.

        My airtel dish tv id no. [protected], txn no.[protected] on pos 81803286 dtd. 28.12.2017 at 8.02 am.
        I have recharged the said dish tv id for rs. 200/- and my bank account was debited for the said amount. Very sorry to say that an error message was delivered and my dish tv recharge was not successful. My set top box was on during recharge.
        I will be thankful if you refund the amount of rs.200/- in my account at the earliest.

          I've migrated from postpaid to prepaid connection recently after i got vexed with the poor signal strength, lack of transparency in billing, intermittent loss of data connectivity among many other things.

          After several rounds of talks and negotiations, i finally succeeded in getting prepaid sim. The real problem started here, when i swapped my post-paid sim card with prepaid sim card after loosing signal on the former one. I have not been receiving signals on either of the sim cards and i'm disconnected since yesterday.

          After many unsuccessful attempts to connect with customer care and getting a usual templated response, i paid a visit to the nearest airtel store and spent couple of hours to get no solution in response. I visited the store where i've taken the new sim today and tried to get the problem rectified. And i'm here writing an e-mail with my phone still disconnected without any signal.

          It is well understood that technical glitches are bound to happen at any place. But it is your duty to respond to the situation and give an alternative to the customer. I work for a reputed mnc which has tie up with airtel for most of it's services and i'm going to endorse them to move away from your service seeing the worst ever response to the given problem.

            Hello,

            I am having problem in porting my number from relience to airtel. On 15th december'17 i went to airtel relationship office, near near bhu lanka varanasi and submitted my port pin number (Re222188) and all the documents they said me to submit and also given rs. 50 for that as they asked me to pay. Now this is 28 december'17 and my number not yet been ported into airtel. I made phone call to airtel office two or three times and once they pick my call and now they not picking my call and whenever i am visited to airtel office they told me they submitted and forwarded my document further. But still my number not been ported then i tried to check my port status by calling [protected] airtel customer care they saying we didn't get any port request from your side kindly visit airtel office where you submitted document, who can give me feedback and when my number will port.

              I had recharged 399 onwards November. And it's valid till 23jan 18. But from last 10 days though net acive but calling has not done, only told that I hv no balance in my account. Please resolve this issue. I tried to contact customer care, they told it would be resolved in 24hrs but not happen anything. I did all what they said, till the problem has not been resolved.                   I have raised a complaint regarding airtel network issue in my place JV Colony, Gachibowli, Hyderabad around 2 months back, but my friends were telling that the issue persists from last 4-5 months in this area.

                  I contacted customer care for 10 times for providing temporary solution, since the signal strength and quality is very bad here, but the concerned team is telling that it will take months time to resolve the issue. It's become very difficult to calls in my place and customer care team is not responding properly.

                  Being the top network, i never expected this kind of service from Airtel. As i had network issues with other network, i moved to this network.
                  Please help the users in this regard.

                    Hi,
                    Recently I ported from Vodafone to Airtel. I have a serious complaint that I have been discussing with Airtel's customer service representatives over the phone since almost a month, and at this point I have given up any faith whatsoever in them. Airtel has done a great job training them in fooling people, wasting customers' time and efforts, giving made up stories and deadlines, what not. A complete circus ran by con artists.
                    I am very disappointed and unable to understand what type of operation is Airtel running. Their people were pestering me since last one year for porting my number to Airtel. Last month I couldn't have it anymore and decided to opt for airtel (my biggest mistake). Their guy delivered me the new SIM card around 27th Nov'17 and completed the documentation there only. SIM got activated around 5th Dec'17. Since then, I have not been able to use internet service. I have called up customer care numerous times, just to hear from them a deadline of 24 hours which was never met.
                    I had a conversation from most junior to most senior staff member present there and they used to tell me different story every time. I dont know for what Godforsaken reason, one of their customer care representative told me that a wrong SIM card has been delivered to me, after which a strange guy called me and said "OMG sir, I cant believe this, your SIM shouldn't have been activeated, this is unbelievable". Their people have no sense of professionalism. I have used services of a couple of companies and this is by far the worst that I have came across.
                    Since last couple of weeks, I am being told that there is a technical error on their behalf due to which my SIM is partially activated and still pending for complete activation, which will be resolved (guess what, ironically in 24 hours).
                    When out of frustration I asked one of their customer care representative to guide me to the process of porting back to Vodafone, she told me that I just cant do it before three months because of some TRAI rule! Are all rules applicable to customers while they get to act like outlaws? This is an utter harassment and should be dealt with a proper legal action.

                    I only demand that this issue should be resolved asap.

                    And on a closing note, I'd like to say 'I AM NEVER GOING TO RECOMMEND AIRTEL TO ANYONE. I DONT WANT PEOPLE I CARE ABOUT TO SUFFER LIKE I DID. I WOULD PERSONALLY MAKE SURE PEOPLE AROUND ME PORT TO DIFFERENT SERVICE PROVIDERS'

                    This is Airtel's first impression, and its going to be hard to change for sure.

                      On 25.11.2017 the airtel had charged Rs.125.00 lacs for 30 days choosing NEXGTV service, which was not requested by me. Trans ID- N[protected] . It was mentioned that to deactivate call or SMS to 155223. On the same day the msg was sent for deactivation & on 27.11.17 i contacted customer care for reversing the money. They said it is not possible as the service should be stopped same day. And the same was done by me. But they are ready to reverse. Now after 1 month again for renewal they are asking to upload sufficient balance. Pl. ask the company to refund my amount Rs.125/- My. Mobile No. [protected]

                        I am using airtel for many years and have been your valuable customer through postpaid and broadband respectively. But this time to my utter disappointment your team has shown a pathetic response to my request.
                        I have been getting the speed of less than 20 mbps and sometimes even lesser (Attached are few snapshots). I complained about it, but i am getting the same lesser speed intermittently. Above all, this month i have got a bill of 1296 inr, which is comparatively very very much higher for such a plan.

                            It has been 6 days (22/12/17) since my internet has suddenly stopped working. I have called the customer care at lease 6 times and they have absolutely no idea what to do. They repeatedly tell me the same set of instructions about my sim settings, which obviously have not worked. Then they asked me to get a new sim.
                            I bought a new sim 3 days ago (25/12/2017) and it is still not activated.
                            Every time i call [protected] i have to at least wait for 2 minutes and listen to hell lot of irrelevant menus before i am finally connected with to a personnel, who is different every time so i have to repeat the whole thing; only to listen to their empty solutions. My 6gb data has already been wasted and i also have to bear the opportunity cost.
                            I would like my internet to start working immediately.

                                Dear concern

                                It is very surprising to know that airtel is misleading its customers by providing wrong information when it comes to suggest best plan.

                                They had suggested me a best plan as inr 299 which was non hd and was covering almost all hindi entertainment, informative, news and movies channels.

                                Believing in the company's commitment to provide best to its customers, i continued to recharge for this plan month on month.

                                Just of curiosity i googled few airtel plans and figured out i can get all the benefits of above plan and that too in hd in just inr 232.

                                Relay hurt by the unethical practice of such a renowned company.
                                Just to earn few penney's from a customer they have lost all my trust.

                                Will be checking all my accounts associated with airtel.

                                  I had done a recharge of my airtel digital tv on 24.05.2017 customer id:-[protected] with the annual subscription of rs.2850/- under value prime kids pack and with rs.4800/- for my other 2 hd connections with rs. 200/- per month subscription for each.

                                  Now, i came to know that my first connection was recharged with rs.4800/- and my other 2 connections with rs.2850/-. On contacting the customer care, i was informed that rs.4800/- plan was under offer and was recharged first. So, the plan was activated without my acknowledgement and now, airtel digital company refuses to do any support and asks me to recharge for other 2 connections to further continue the service.

                                  I felt cheated and furthermore, no help or support was done on the behalf of the company. I request you to consider my case and resolve the issue as soon as possible.

                                      Sim card is not activated even after 48 hours. Customer care is suggesting to visit the stores again saying they have mistakenly activated some other sim. This is totally unacceptable as the issue is there from the service provider end and asking customer to visit the airtel store again.
                                      Even mail has been received with complaint number (We have registered your request vide order no.[protected] stating that sim card will be activated.
                                      Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

                                        I have been using aitel number since last 2 months. My plan is of rs. 399 on which i was told that i will be given unlimited calls and 100 sms's per day and 20 gb of 4g data. I was mostly attracted towards 20gb of 4g data because of which i chose to be in airtel but however while using the service of airtel 4g i am very much shocked and surprise to see that the speed of airtel 4g was not even the speed of 3g. I mean i am not getting enough speed to that i can consume, utilize the 20gb data of internet 4g which they promised. I am not able to watch any movies i am unable to see any videos without waiting time (Buffering) videos, movies are lagging so much that i am unable to use the dedicated data provided by airtel. I have made several complains to airtle regarding the same issues they says that their network is on upgradation. I want to know why shall a consumer should suffer for your technical problems. But however they couldn't resolve the problem nor were able to provide my the with discounts. I mean why shall i pay the complete bill amount if i am unable to use the services.
