I had bought a Steve Madden bag order Id FL[protected] on 26th July from Ajio which had1 month return option from Ajio and 3 month’s manufacturing warranty, after I used it for a week I saw that the leather of the bag is chipping off I called up at Ajio and told them about it, they assured me that my problem will be resolved I waited and nothing happened I gave them multiple calls and sent them emails also and every time they assured me that they will resolve the issue ( if they actually record the calls they should hear it)I was getting annoyed by now because the return window from Ajio was about to close on 30th August but every time they assured me that I don’t have to worry my problem will be resolved.Now the return window was closed and I was not getting replies to my mails and calls so I called up again to tell them about the issue but to my surprise their tone has changed now they were saying that they are not responsible for it I will have to go to the showroom.i went to infinity mall Malad West and they said for online products they are not responsible I was shocked to hear that means neither Ajio nor the Steve Madden store was ready to take the issue of defective product they were putting the blame onto each other.but i want to ask them where will the consumer go in this situation if reputed companies like ajio and Steve Madden will behave like this with their customers..I had asked one senior executive at ajio that if you all are not taking responsibility of the defective product so we should not buy it from Ajio for that she disconnected my line .i am feeling so cheated by both of them that I had to take this step and I want full refund of my product and not only that I want compensation for selling defective product, harrowing me, misguiding me, giving me false hopes.
