I purchase AKAI Smart LED Fire TV, model 4KLT43S-DFS6T on 8th August, 2021. It is 28th March, 2022 now and the TV screen is showing a band of flickering pixels at the bottom. There are white, red, and blue lines appearing on the screen plus, there are two corners (top left and bottom right) that are becoming white.
I called Akai customer care number and they denied service stating that you have to contact Amazon because that is where you purchased it from. I raised a complaint with Amazon but no reply so far except for a confirmation email that the service request has been raised.
This is giving be bad feeling and if AKAI or AMAZON denies a full replacement or a full refund, I am going to drag them to consumer court and make them pay. This is horrible that AKAI and AMAZON don't respond to customer complaints properly. These brands need to be banned or charged with hefty fines. Only then they will come to their senses.
