- On receiving a cancellation message from Akasa Air, i confirmed with customer care that rescheduling was not possible, and so i booked another flight at a significantly higher cost.
- Later, Akasa Air admitted that rescheduling was indeed possible and apologized, but the damage was already done.
- Akasa Air promised a refund of INR 3, 554, requested my bank details, and confirmed that the refund would be processed within 7–10 working days (by 21st May 2025).
- As of 24th May, the refund had not been received, despite multiple emails and calls, leading to mental harassment and financial inconvenience.
- Customer support responses were inconsistent and unhelpful, including a call where i was put on hold for over 12 minutes without resolution and this has happened multiple times.
