I had my ticket to travel to Dubai for[protected]. I applied for the UAE visa on[protected] via Akbar Travels business whatsapp number. They advertise on their website that the visa processing time is upto 5 days.
Before paying for the visa application, I confirmed with the Akbar Travel representative whether I will get the visa before[protected]. Only once they confirmed that I will get the visa before[protected] that I paid for the application.
I then started following up with them since[protected] and each time they said it is under process and i will get it before my travel date[protected].
I did not receive the visa and on[protected] i made several calls to their office and each time I was told that someone will get back to me with an update but no one called back.
I had to travel on[protected] and then take a visa on arrival in Dubai. Due to this my visa application that was made by Akbar Travels was also rejected as I had already entered UAE.
Since then I have been following up with them for a refund as it was completely their fault to mislead me into applying. Now their people have stopped replying to emails.
All communication is available on Akbar Travel business WhatsApp through with I applied for the visa and also screenshot from the same.
They claim to provide visas in the mentioned time frame where people are depending on them. Their misleading information and false commitments completely ruined my travel plans. It has caused me a lot of mental anguish and I also had to spend a lot of money on changing my airline tickets.
The least they should do is refund my money and compensate me for the damages caused due to the misleading information provided/ displayed by Akbar Travels. This will also act as a deterrent. Was this information helpful? |
